Stopped here yesterday on the way home from a road trip. We were traveling with our beautiful son. I ordered a waffle (great) and a Philly steak hashbrown bowl (fine). My beautiful and smart wife ordered the patty melt. The place was fine. Could've been cleaner though. Table was sticky. Food arrived extremely quickly. My hashbrown bowl could've been cooked longer. This Waffle House location had a good crew on when we stopped in, with folks calling out greetings to everyone who stepped in. The location was hard to get into on a weekday with 8 a.m. traffic. You might try turning into the gas station and cutting over if needed. I went for a pecan waffle with bacon and a hot tea. I noticed that they had Simply Orange, Simply Apple, and Simply Lemonade available. The bacon tasted especially good there for some reason! There was only a small number of patrons at that time, and things were quiet. We talked to a couple of the servers and had a nice visit before we hit the road. read more

Most people know about Waffle House. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, but there is just something about it that makes that ok. Today I had the All Star breakfast, a ton of food at a very affordable price. The food is surprisingly good. My waffle was very delicious, the flavor was spot on and creamy tasting, fluffy and good. I wish it had been a bit more crispy. My eggs were prepared as I asked and the food was served hot. My sausage was a bit overcooked, but still halfway decent. Margarine instead of butter is always a big minus. My server was also cooking because the cook was on break. He was quiet and unenthusiastic but friendly. Other servers at this location are more engaging and attentive. On some visits to this location, I might give 4 stars, but today was a three star day here. read more

So normally I absolutely adore waffle house, But let me start off with the customer service first. My husband and I went around 6 pm. There were two gentleman inside. The younger guy was very quiet but nice when we were leaving. The older gentleman made us both very uncomfortable. We felt rushed to order, and to leave, he was not very friendly at all which made me to scared to ask to fix my other problems that will be listed below. First my drink was brought out in a broken cup and was leaking on the table so I put napkins under it because again, to uncomfortable to ask for a different cup. The food came out super fast. The waffle was absolutely amazing but the bacon was undercooked, my eggs and hash Brown's were both way overcooked. When he came out to give us our bill he took my butter when I wasn't done with it but again to scared to say anything. As said before we felt extremely rushed and like we were being judged. The restaurant was very clean and looked good inside and out. It was just not a very good experience for my first review as a restaurant critic. read more

I can't say how many times I have been to this Waffle house, but I am sure it is in the Dozens. If I am travelling to Columbus or beyond and need something to eat I almost always stop here. The food is always good, the service is always helpful and the bathrooms are normally clean. My favorite thing about waffle house is you can spend almost nothing and get a good meal or you can spend a bit and still get a good meal. This trip I got a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit and ordered a chocolate pie and spent a whole $5 and change. Try doing that at any other fast food place and know that it was made fresh for you right then and there. Okay the pie is clearly Sara Lee's, but it was good. read more

Came in while on vacation, waited for 20 minutes. There were 4 tables ready to be cleaned. Servers cleaned two tables for one family, sat them, and took their order. They was one more table behind and one table in front of us that fit us, still didn't clean it, proceeded to check other customers out. We saw on Yelp! That it was a highly rated Waffle House and so we thought great! We love Waffle House. This is the best Waffle House we have EVER been too! Food was fast and perfect. The atmosphere was fun and friendly! They worked perfectly as a harmonized crew and seemed to enjoy their coworkers. Then 2 things happened that I have never witnessed at a Waffle House. 1st thing: a young black man came in to pass out flyers to his music show and an older white lady made him stop talking to other people and tell her all about his music, she then bought him a piece of apple pie and asked to buy his album! Humanity at its best!! The 2nd thing: 2 servers and a line cook turned up a song on the radio and started line dancing behind the counter! Everyone in the restaurant started cheering for them! It's been literally over 10 years since I step foot in a Waffle House. There's not many Waffle Houses in the West Coast. Actually, I can't think of any in the West Coast. So when the opportunity came for us to dine at Waffle House, my response was "why not". Couple of things about the Waffle House; 1. Their menu has not changed in the last 10 years, probably more. 2. No signs of pancakes on the menu 3. The pictures on their menu don't give them any justice. I think their actual food looks better in person. 4. Service is hit or miss 5. Everything seems to be covered and smothered. Food: -Burgers are pretty good. I haven't had one here in over 10 years, but remember them as some of the best All-American Burgers one can have. -Waffles: Depending if you're in the mood. Their waffles really hit the spot for dinner. They are filling and the syrup such finds a way to soak in. In other words, some of the better waffles you'll ever have. -Melted Sandwiches: My favorite when I hit a Waffle House. Cheesy goodness!! Locals out here give a Waffle House poor ratings, mainly because they grew up on this stuff. I had a decent meal here recently and with great service. The food here is something I promised myself that I would stay away from due to the calories. But I'm going to give myself a break since it's been over 10 years since I've eaten here. read more

Where do you go after partying all night? Waffle house! Where do you go after working the night shift?? Waffle house!....This is just like any other waffle house. The menu is the same, the waitress was friendly, the food came rather quickly and was on par. It was nothing spectacular but it is good and will fill you up as they always give you large portions. This location however is very small. I would not come here unless you are one of the early birds or during the week when everyone is at work, otherwise you will probably have to wait for a table to become available. read more

Pour your chocolate milk all over your hashbrowns and watch the horror come over your server's face while assuring them that this is the way you like it. You cannot drive through Ohio without seeing a barrage of yellow and black Waffle House signs littered down the highway. Since advertising works, my fiance and I decided to stop at one of these low-grade diners. The fare was what you would expect for a place that serves low-priced food to truckers and folks from Ohio. It was basic, low quality and prepared in a pretty dirty kitchen by people who looked like they shouldn't be handling food. Waffle House has a bit of lore too it for Michiganders. We don't have many of them in the state or any at all in the Detroit area. So I had to try some food. I was actually somewhat impressed by the new Jalapeno Chicken on a biscuit, but mainly because I didn't get food poisoning. I also ordered some hashbrowns chunked and smothered which I am told is a Waffle House favorite. The ham, mushrooms, salsa and chili were fine. The gravy was a bit nasty. Don't get gravy on your hashbrowns. Especially if you are driving in a car all day. Probably the worst thing you can do for your stomach or the well-being of your passengers. Best bet: try it once, just to say you've been. Then never speak of it again read more

It has been about 5 years since I have been to a waffle house. Taste took me back. This is a very good location for the chain.

The food was really good but the waitresses made my lunch very unpleasant. As we were eating they started arguing and they argued up until the point we left. We had to wait to pay and leave just because they were screaming at each other and were ignoring us. Today we went to this location and ordered biscuits and gravy, cheese steak omelet and hash browns for both me and my girlfriend. We found a big black hair in the gravy and biscuits and i found a big bone in my omelet. They took off everything but the omelet which should of been taken off but the lady thinks that since i ate 1/2 of it that i should pay full for it. We left mad and unsatisfied. We have went different times and have had smaller problems like got someone else orders and had pop or coffee spilled on us. We only have trouble at this location. So they have lost a customer for life and i will tell all my friends and family to stay clear of this location. They need to wear head protectors so hair doesn't fall into food. read more

I have been here multiple times and have not had good service. The last time I was in here I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and ended up with a ham and cheese omelet. It took about 5 - 7 minutes for them to get me my sandwich and they still screwed it up. Since this is so close to the highway I feel that it gets a lot of travelers who just stop through. It is also located right beside a bar, which drives up their business in the evenings. I have taken advantage of it being located here. They never seem to screw up the waffles or hash browns so if that is what you like to order you should be OK. read more
