    Awesome food

This is the Waffle House experience! Loud, energetic, and a great quick meal. I loved the way the staff was working together to get everything in and out of the kitchen. I have been to many waffle houses and this one by far was best. Shout out Olivia for great service!

Not great. Not terrible. Our hostess was a real sweetie. I could tell she was "done" for the day but she was still so accommodating and welcoming. She was totally fine with our substitutions and changes and requests and worked the room as well as a Waffle Houser could. Coffee is straight up not good, but why should I expect it to be? Waffles are always perfect - I get them with pecans. Bacon wasn't as great as it's been in the past, that's for sure. But everything else was yummy! I actually paid to put some credits on the jukebox and the atmosphere really changed after we played some music. Waffle House is just so depressing when it's quiet! I'll definitely go again when I need some late-night comfort.

This review is in regard to the Waffle House app. The app is not user-friendly. It does not allow you to customize your order. Everybody just doesn't want what you order on the menu. You should be able to select customizations you can't even call and talk to anyone about it. This is totally unacceptable. This doesn't help your business. It hurts it.!!!.. moving on to another breakfast business that does allow a user-friendly app!!!! I also ordered the two egg breakfast. I got one egg you can't call and say I'm bringing it back or get a credit or anything. I don't even live close to where I picked up my order overall poor experience.

    Prefect breakfast with my kids.

This place is not just a delicious breakfast, it's an experience, like stepping back in time to an old world dinner. It's a lot of fun for my family being from a small town, the closest waffle house is too far so we love to stop here for breakfast before leaving Houston. The staff here are like a machine, many parts working all around to produce your amazing breakfast.

Line out the door on a Sunday morning.

Well this is my go-to brunch spot to bring all my out-of-towners. I can't believe I don't still…read morehave a review posted in the system! Let me start by saying I've been here multiple, multiple times & I've never had any food items that weren't good. I always get breakfast (even if it's lunch time) so I don't know much about the lunch items. Not only is the food outstanding with a creative twist, it's consistent. Over the years, the place has expanded several times so now there is a decent amount of dine-in seating in addition to the outdoor seating. The place still stays packed but with their wait list in advance/text notification system & efficiency in seating customers, if there is a wait things move along smoothly. Additionally, anyone who is waiting knows it's worth the wait!! The service staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homey & they decorate for the various holidays & seasons. Owner/chef Lori is always walking around asking guests if everything is ok. On at least 2 occasions she happened to chat with me/my guest about some dietary restrictions & she whipped something up for us to try. My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! Tips: - Use the text message wait list & signup before you leave your house. - You can always get 1 pancake on the side for $5. - 15% gratuity is included at checkout, as you pay you'll get options for an additional % or custom % like 0%, 3, 5% or more.

We decided to try this place out for the first time because we were in the area and wanted to dine somewhere with good vegetarian or vegan options. If you're dining in, check in with the host/hostess and they will tell you where you will be seated. You will be given a "ticket" to take to the counter to place your order. After you place your order, your food will be brought out to your designated table. We had a very enjoyable brunch at Harvest and will definitely come back next time we're in Katy.

One side order of potatoes was enough for two. They were seasoned and crunchy on the outside while being soft on the inside. They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday until 330. The brunch menu is huge. It is not a super large menu, which I feel very endearing. We decided to try the bagel and lox with cream cheese, the Buzz burger with fries, and their homemade chips. They start off by bringing you this beautiful craft of bottled water. That to me was an amazing bonus. We also ordered two sodas which came in a can. I sort of wish it was a more of a fountain drink than one can of soda for the price. *Now service was super slow. However, the waitress did come and tell us that they are running a little behind and she apologized for it and she was super sweet, so that made up for the weight. How do I known how long it was going to take, I don't know if I would've stayed, but in the end, the food was amazing. The burger was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend is a hamburger snob and he kept saying how good it was how fresh it was and how perfectly cooked it was. They serve you shoestring fries that feel like they're double fried and they were phenomenal. My bagel was toasted perfectly and had a very good amount of cream cheese and lox. As a Jewish girl living in the area that I do, it's very hard to find good bagels with lox and cream cheese. I will most definitely be back for this sooner than later. The homemade chips took quite a while to come out, and at one point I was ready to say we don't need it, but these potato chips beat Buccees beaver chips, 100%. They were super fresh and very crunchy and tasted amazing. I will definitely recommend those to anybody that orders some. My boyfriend then ordered a tropical sunrise smoothie and it was so tasty and tasted like a strawberry banana smoothie. Now once again that did take a long time to come out and at one point, we were wishing we had not ordered it but once we did get it, it was really good and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is not very large and it's the perfect brunch spot for anybody looking for a smaller Cafe with very good choices.

I went with a new item on the menu - the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl. It was pretty good - for a non- Mexican food place. And it was a lot of food. I figured it's in the sauce and looked for TEN MINUTES while also looking at photos of the dish online. It did not have any barbacoa in the bowl. I explain this to a different waitress and she takes the food back to the kitchen and brings it out again with a small piece of barbocoa sitting conveniently on top of my food! She tries to point that out saying there's meat in it which is absolutely ridiculous! Very insulting and gross. SEE THE VIDEO, there's only 1 piece of meat on top. I didnt take a single bite of food. Absolutely unacceptable to bring a plate of food back from the kitchen trying to trick the customer to avoid remaking the dish. They comped a single order of avocado toast and the manager came to apologize. Completely ruined my experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. We made reservations and were quickly seated when we arrived. The place is a bit dark when the sun goes down. Plenty of wine bottles lined up on the wall and a full bar. We went for their HRW menu. In addition to the regular menu, they gave a chef appetizer of Rockefeller Oyster. Nice touch. One comment though, when it was served, they put mine on top of the bread plate which I thought was odd. Oyster itself was very flavorful. For starters, we had the Jumbo Peri Peri shrimp and Jollof's Fire Bomb. The shrimps were just regular shrimps and was chewy. The Fire Bomb was tasty with brisket meat inside. We order the ribeye and fried red snapper for our mains. Suya Ribeye was very flavorful from the African spices. The jollof rice was delicious. My first time trying it. Kinda crispy and has a kick. Fried Fred snapper was well executed. My wife loved it. It was unfortunate that the restaurant was so dark that you can't really see your food to appreciate the effort that was put into it. It was a nice gesture that Chef Casey came out to talk to his customers. For desserts, we had the crème brûlée and banana fosters. Banana fosters was a big scoop of ice cream with couple slices of banana which was a bit disappointing. In comparison to other HrW restaurants, you can get more bang for the buck at other places. We would go back for the mains but skip the appetizers and desserts.
