One of the few Waffle Houses in South Florida. This place is good for a midnight meal when everything else is closed. Late night on the weekends, you may want to place your order online. This is our closest Waffle House and it's so, so good!! We arrived during peak lunch time, so the wait for a seat was around 30-40 minutes. We didn't mind and managed to get a spot at the counter. The food was great, and there is a lot of parking. But this location is pretty tight. All the tables and chairs inside are right next to each other. When I got there my wait time was about 20 minutes for one person. I finally was seated my server was relatively nice and the food came out in about 10 minutes. The food was good, I had the all-star breakfast and OJ. Also, added additional sausages. But the only issue once again is that it was crowded and tight inside. As I'm eating my food, my legs and elbows were touching with the person next to me on my right. On my left the register was right there so people paying are right next to me and my arm. You also can't get a table without a group. I wouldn't recommend larger groups come here. My first Waffle House experience was in Tampa and loved it ever since. It's open 24 hours serving affordable breakfast classics, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, melts and of course, their signature waffles. As soon as I saw on Facebook that the Miami location finally opened, I made sure to pass by today and pay tribute to this American icon. Got here at 7:30am and it was already packed. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be so busy on an early Sunday but nevertheless, got seated right away at the high top counter facing the kitchen. I was promptly greeted and the server took my order immediately. I got the All-Star Special which includes coffee, eggs, hash browns, bacon, 4 slices of toasts, and 1 waffle. In less than 10 min, my meal was brought to my table piping hot. Everything was delicious although I prefer my waffles thicker but for $8, this breakfast feast was satisfying indeed.
