Waffle House has over 2000 restaurants... I haven't been to all but I've been to a lot over the years!!! When I go, I'm always expecting consistency with my food as I order 'the exact same thing'... Yes, I get the 'All-Star Special with my waffle cooked well, eggs scrambled with cheese, white toast buttered, sausage patties, and my grits in a bowl & extra butter' When my waffle came out, I was like 'What is this'.... I had to search online to find out if there had been a waffle iron change because the waffle I got was horrible!!!! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!! Now whenever I go to Waffle House, I've got to inquire if they have changed/updated the waffle iron or not. Better yet my question is, do you still cook with the classic waffle iron?? Customer service was great, this one is in the restaurant!!! For all my travelers and fans of Waffle House when traveling, you may wanna skip this location if you want a waffle & expect the traditional one

Where else can you find consistently good food for cheap? Look no future than Waffle House! My hubby and I arrived around noon on a Sunday. Waited for maybe 10 minutes and got sat. Every Waffle House is tiny. Seats maybe 50 people in total. Our server greeted us and obtained our drink order. By the time she returned, we had our order ready. The All-Star is the way to go. 2 eggs, hash browns or grits, choice of bacon, sausage or ham, choice of toast, drink, AND a waffle for around $17.00. Food came within 10 minutes and was served hot. I don't care what social media says that you have to be intoxicated to enjoy Waffle House, it's good while sober too! Just respect the rules.

I'm a fan of Waffle House but issue with seating. I walk with cane and advised when I entered I need low table with chairs no booth. Several openings happen booth & 2 portions of the tables. Instead of sitting 2 gentlemen in booth and sitting me at table she sits them at table and offers me the booth. Resulted in over 45 minutes I waited lazy Saturday and I'm just wanting to chill. I get my go to pecan waffle and chicken sandwich plate. I send lettuce back as it is dirty and has garden critters hasn't been washed. She goes gets a fresh pack of lettuce watch her open it and not wash it pull leaves off & yep you got nice dirty soil at the bottom. So maybe this is how it works in their home but I grew up and currently garden if it comes home or in a restaurant you wash vegetables but not at this Waffle House. Welcome to a new world of no home training. While they were nice this is my only reason for 2 stars. Yeah I won't be back and praying on going to any other locations. I drove and taught semi truck drivers all across the USA, been to Waffle House across all of the USA never had a bad experience but yeah this location for sure I will avoid it in the future.

The staff were so nice, especially Ivana. She made us feel so welcome even tho we were tourists. This gave "home made breakfast" to a T, and if I needed a basic breakfast meal I would come again. The store itself was clean, smelled good, and gave very 70's vibes which was lovely. This was our first time Waffle House experience, and it was a good one

Waffle House is Waffle House however, this location is probably the cleanest I've visited. The customer service was super friendly as I've found with all WH visits I've made. The food is good for what it is. It's greasy, rib sticking filling food. We've tried everything on the breakfast menu at one point of another. The waffles are simple and tasty. Sometimes you just need a Waffle House craving cured.

We came for breakfast while in town for the World Baseball Classic. My 23 year old son had never been to a Waffle House before. And I've been 3 times in 3 different states and all three Waffle Houses look alike. When we walked in, every table was taken and there aren't that many tables. We took seats at the counter. We had a front row view of how a Waffle House works. Their menu is small but no matter what you order, you need to order a waffle. It's not fancy or Belgian but it's a good waffle. They make them to order so they are always fresh. The hash browns are also very good and served extra crispy. Service was fast and friendly.

We live in the neighborhood and my husband and I enjoy eating at Waffle House but unfortunately the last time we ate there (Wednesday, November 30) the outside of the restaurant had trash all over the place and the inside was not quite clean either. Food and service was as good as usual but with 3-4 people standing around just talking seems like the trash, at least on floor inside, good have been cleaned up. read more

I see others here have called Waffle House a "dive diner." Guess I should have checked reviews before going, because that's a pretty good description. I took my 84-year-old mother who said she always wanted to eat there. The food was tasty, at a good price, but the restaurant was dirty. The syrup dispenser was covered with sticky drips, as if it had been used and refilled many many times without being cleaned, and the table wasn't much better. We chose a table on the "kitchen" side of the restaurant, rather than by the window. Big mistake. The waitress stood by our table and talked and talked (and talked) I don't mind friendly service, but this was so over the top that my mother and I couldn't talk to each other. Next time we want waffles, we'll go somewhere else. read more

Food is great! Service sucked. As a former server, I know that you greet the customer as soon as you walk in. Whether it's I'll be right there or how can I help you. My friend and I received no greeting so we sat ourselves. The server, Frenchie is terrible. She doesn't seem like she even wants to be here. She disappeared half way through our meal. I had to walk to the counter to get refill, but a rude young lady. The only people that were not rude were the cooks and that's because they didn't talk. Their food was fantastic. I didn't receive any sort of goodbye greeting at all. My server was by far the worst of them all. She did not do her job well at all, and I probably will not return to this Waffle House again based on the service they gave me tonight. read more

On this side of town for errands and stopped in here for lunch. Aside from several employees out front smoking, we were seated fast. While we were waiting for the cook to come back inside from smoking, we began to notice just how filthy this restaurant was...Will not go back...cook didn't even wash his hands. We'll stick to our 83rd Waffle House, thank you very much! read more

I am always down for a peach mimosa and their chicken and biscuits with Old Bay gravy. It's one of those meals that keeps me coming back. The hybrid indoor-outdoor atmosphere is a great touch, and the lawn games help create a fun, relaxed environment that encourages people to stick around and enjoy themselves. During football season, they make sure the games are on, which makes this a perfect Sunday brunch spot for my wife and me. She gets brunch, I get football. Actually, that's not entirely true. I also get brunch, because brunch is delicious, and anyone who disagrees can go suck an Eggs Benedict. Great food, great atmosphere, and one of my favorite places to spend a Sunday morning.

Flipped with the same spatula that just scraped up something else but somehow, they taste better than any eggs I've ever made myself. But let's talk about the real Waffle House magic--watching the cooks work. It's like watching a high-stakes Broadway performance where nobody writes anything down. The waitress just yells out a rapid-fire order like: "Scattered, smothered, covered! Two over easy, bacon extra crispy! One waffle, side of grits! Hold the toast but add jelly!" And somehow, the cooks don't blink. No notes, no hesitation--they just absorb it all and get to work. Meanwhile, you're sitting there, watching them crack eggs with one hand while flipping bacon with the other, all on a griddle that looks like it's been seasoned since 1995. When will we be able to give zero stars. You walk in it's a little small hole in the wall joint. Not alot to choose from on the menu. Okay we make our selections are food is ready in less than 5 minutes. My Texas steak whatever it was called was basically a grilled cheese sandwich, you couldn't taste the steak at all. My hashbrowns if you could call them that were so light I'm pretty sure they were undercooked. No flavor anywhere. When the waiter brought my plate he handed it to me at an angle and damn near dropped the whole thing on my lap. WTF.... my guys double hash with meat tasted like grease, meat had no flavor to the point I wouldn't of thought it had meat if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. My guy said he couldn't eat after the first bite that he was done. The waiter took it we asked for a updated receipt and he had the audacity to say. You have to pay for it because you ate it. Where in the policy is that one bite he said a manger will probably fix it for you. The manager never came out and spoke to us and the waiter said he would fix it at the register. I didn't want to waste food so after we left spent 20 minutes looking for someone to give my food to. I will never ever ever eat at this establishment again. read more

Went here at like midnight a couple weeks ago. Dude with gloves on dumping chemicals on floor right outta the jug. Ordered food. Girl cooking grabs raw bacon, touches the bread to toast. Dude goes behind counter, doesnt change gloves, reaches into hashbrown jug puts handfull of taters on the grittle. Waitress brings food out, I tell her what I saw. She was nice and said sorry and admonished the two. Dude told her oops sorry (sorry I was paying attention is more like it) and girl cooking says to waitress "I'm not changing my gloves everytime." Dangerous food handling and the fact that it was right in front of my face so bluntly was upsetting on top of being gross. I'm not dumb, no kitchen is perfect and I've worked foodservice before but this was more like total apathy rather than ineptitude. WATCH THEM MAKE YOUR FOOD WHEN YOU HAVE AN OPEN KITCHEN! read more

Anyone that hasnt been to a Waffle House before may find this kind of place a little different for them. But its a good different! Its a tiny little building that is always crowded on the weekends. The food....its your basic diner fare, except that its awesome! You dont get the typical greasy egg and hashbrowns here, no sir! They do it like you would do at home. Just good, fresh, made-right food at impeccable prices. The staff is ALWAYS friendly even if they may seem a little too personable to you sensitive types who believe that all servers should treat you like they are your butler. Personally, I love the friendly personal chatty atmosphere :) read more

This is the first Waffle House I ever tried but it won't be the last. The food is great, the coffee is OUT OF THIS WORLD and the staff have this thing like they are all true believers and not just employees. First thing they ask is if you have been there before and do you know all the lingo. It's like you are part of something. It's almost a religion unto itself. read more

This Waffle House is conveniently located off I-17 and opened 24/7! I always work out at night and this is a great place to grub down on afterwards. The restaurant it's is kept very clean and the staff was great. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and double hash browns. Definitely recommend read more

Delicious food ive came so many times here and every time the service is fast and friendly. The only down side is that its a really small place so you may wait a while in the morning for a table to open up. Ive brought some friends here for the first time and they love it as well read more
