    Fiesta Omelet at 6am
    Bruce K.

Early morning when I arrived and the overnight shift was still here. I was able to order my usual Fiesta Omelet and it didn't take too long. This morning's cook said it took him two tries and he apologized for the delay. Which was not much of a delay - it was 15 minutes from the time I walked inside to the time it arrived in front of me. A little loud as the regulars started to stream in but the coffee was good and hot while I watched the place start up for the day. [Review 610 of 2024 - 307 in Missouri - 21641 overall]

Waffle House is always great comfort food and this location on Lindbergh does not disappoint. Today my waitress was Princess. She was full of smiles and service. And, she was hussling! Kept my coffee hot. I ordered a blueberry waffles and hash browns smothered, diced and capped (onions, tomatoes and mushrooms. Waffle House hands down has the best hash browns. Christmas music was blasting and the crew was shouting orders. Love this place.

Went here for Valentine's Day, and honestly had some of the best service, food and environment! So far the best of STL!

Me and my brother came in from New York on a road trip and decided to stop in at Waffle House since we've never seen anything like that around where we're from. We came in at about 1AM and had a quick bite and it was so good we came back a second night in a row! Easy service, friendly workers and the manager Tony cheffed it up perfectly for us he was extremely hospitable and a great host! Told us about some cool things we could see on our road trip and was a cool guy. I'd definitely come back here again, nice small diner atmosphere like in an old movie and I won't forget my man T! Food is good but the yelling by the Grill Operator at co workers is unpleasant and ridiculous on the over nights all the time.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They promptly brought us waters and took our orders. I've personally never seen so many burger options! It was overwhelming! We were all happy with our burger choices. For me, I couldn't resist the pub cheeseburger. My only wish is that it would've had a stronger charcoal flavor. I've been dying for a charcoal burger. But overall, the burgers were super juicy, large and flavorful.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, some empty tables when we left. We ordered the fried green bean appetizer to start after reading good reviews on them, I ordered the breakfast burger and my table mate ordered the sticky burger. When the burgers showed up about 20-25 minutes later we were asked if there was anything else we needed. I had to say yes, we were missing the green beans, but at this point we'd just go ahead and cancel that order. No problems. I won't go into details about everything but to point out the negatives that happened on our visit, my bun was relatively burned. Anyone in the kitchen could have caught that and taken a few minutes to grill up another. It took only about a minute for the bottom bun to succumb to the wet burger patty and become a squished piece of wet dough. The other big downfall, and this isn't much the fault of the business, but the place is a cacophonous mess. It doesn't come across perfectly in the video accompanying this review but the place was LOUD. We had to raise our voices to hear one another or speak to the server. Not somewhere you would go to comfortably hang out with someone, sit and visit for a few. Five stars on the whole, one star ding for the few things mentioned. But it's not a total loss, I'm sure we will be back for a second visit and to give an updated review. Maybe I'll try something other than a burger, we shall see! Ciao!

I could get vegan eggs and vegan bacon, and my friends could get their chicken eggs and turkey bacon. My favorites here were the vegan milkshakes, pancakes, vegan bacon, brussels sprouts, and the shrimp po'boy. Unfortunately, I'm speaking of them in past tense because as of tonight, 09May, they have permanently closed. My family and I were some of the very last customers. They were out of all my favorites, so it was extra sad for me. I ended up trying the tacos for the first time. They were cool. But I'm surely going miss my favorites! The owners also own Frida's and Diego's, off Delmar and North & South. I personally don't care for the food at either one, but rumor has it, they might bring some of the Station No 3 favs over to one of these restaurants (which are right next door to each other).

It's a great place to go with your vegan friends as there are many options for vegans and non vegans alike. It's counter service or order from a QR code at your table. They also seem to have a full bar. There was a Wednesday happy hour when we were there $9 old fashioned and potato skins. All and all it was pretty good but I would have liked to see some healthier options that weren't salad, like more fresh veggies in dishes.

The service is "ignore until they flag you down." Food is alright, better than average for diners in the area with prices that are very reasonable. I prefer a burger as the meat of a slinger. They use sausage patties. The chili is perfect and the server/chef sent out over medium and easy eggs cooked to perfection. The ice tea is STRONG. Had to ask for a refill. Again, you'll get ignored. I tried some of the filling of the pie--it was just average. This place is clearly a mainstay for South County. I think it's worth coming at least once, but I have to say: I got some looks. It was like people needed to see and hear me speak fluent, accent-less English. Just keep that in mind.

I always do build your own, you fill out the sheet from a pad on the table choosing your ingredients by category. I usually get the beef but last couple times I have ordered chicken but got similar toppings, Spinach, tomato, chipotle aioli, and fried jalapenos on toasted sourdough. Love it! For a small upcharge you can get a salad as a side, I like to do that because I can steal a few of the delicious fries from my companions. The salad is generous, spring mix, red onion, tomato, croutons. It comes with shaved parmesan, but I ask them to leave that off. The champagne vinaigrette is perfect. This is my favorite burger place, but I like that I can get a great chicken sandwich!
