My nephew chose to go to Waffle House sunday morning after dropping the furry baby at the Watering Bowl for the day. the service was not that spectacular. I think our waitress was was still new. I can handle that, but I did not get a refill on my coffee. Another server took my food to someone else. I ask for hashbrowns with cheese sauce, onions, and ham. I did not get it. I was just told her to make sure I did not get charged for the extras. she almost forgot to put my chili on my omlette. i had to ask three times for forks. even after we got our food i had to ask for forks. My nephews waffle was burnt. The waitress saw it was burnt, asked him if he wanted a different one. he said no he was cool with it. if she saw it was too dark why would she serve it. I will definately go up the road to tesson ferry for my waffle fix. I ordered a medium steak the first time it come out it was well done I send it back the second time it was cold and roll. The team here works great together, and everyone is friendly and more than happy to chat, laugh with the patrons all the while keeping busy and making sure everyone is taken care of and food orders coming out in a timely manner. I've been to this location several times, and always enjoy my visits-nothing like an All Star Breakfast to get my morning going, or the 1/2 pound angus burger for lunch. I decided to try it because steak and shake had gotten such bad reviews, & this place was right next door. upon entering the establishment I was immediately greeted and told to sit wherever I wanted to, within 2 seconds I had a cup of coffee sitting in front of me and the waitress was ready to take my order. very efficient, as for the other reviews to say this place is dirty you must be blind cause I saw no dirt rather it's dingy because it's been there for a while and needs to be updated/remodeled but that's the owners issue and I'm a stickler when it comes to dirty restaurants working in food service myself. The eggs were light and fluffy! I like my has browns crispy and drizzled with ketchup and they were the exact amount of crispness I wanted! I ignored the toast because let's face it! If I'm having a bread product at the Waffle House, I'm eating a waffle! So pecan waffle yes please! Omg the wonderful browned tastes crispy waffle with fluffy middle and crunch of pecan! Wow! Stopped here on the way through to Branson and it was my first time at a Waffle House. We were served quickly, our drinks never fell below half, and the food was amazing. I was a little worried when I went in for lunch the last time I was there because even though they knew I was sitting at the counter, I wasn't sure I was going to be served or waited on because they were so busy doing other things. I looked at the menu and when I wanted to order I said so. I still had to wait until a different person came over to take my order. My mood was beginning to sour. I was hungry and wanted to order so I could eat. She took my order; I got my coffee; and the cook took his time starting my order and didn't seem too worried about how soon it would be done; he was working on other orders so I will take that into consideration. However, when my food was ready, the cook brought it over to me and served it too my hot and straight off the grill. It was cooked thoroughly like it should be, and it was just as good as it was the last time we were there. When I got my food and ate, my mood improved because I was eating. This time when I was there, there were none of the same people who were there the last time that I was there. Normally, we receive good food and service at other WH locations. Prior to ordering, one of the staff blasted loud grunge music throughout the restaurant. My son and I could not hear one other talk and when the waitress tried to take our order, she kept asking us to repeat what we said. I refused to shout over the music. My son told her 1 waffle and 3 bacon pieces. She asked, "3???" He replied yes. She brought 3 waffles and 3 bacons.
