I stopped by this location with some friends late one night after a party and it was a pretty smooth experience. We placed our orders at the window since the inside was closed and that didn't take long at all. Around 20 minutes later everyone had their correct meal with bags full of condiments and silverware. I ordered a blueberry waffle and it was cooked to perfection in my book, not too soft but not dry and crispy. I also got some hashbrowns covered and chunked. I admit this was the very first place I had to stop by on my trip out here and this place was a warm and fond trip down memory lane. You know you're in the South/EastCoast when you see a Waffle House. It's one of those regional places you have to eat at. I'm from Cali so there's no Waffle House anywhere out here. So I made up for lost time and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. For the price point the food is good. The manager Star was really nice and engaging. She made the visit worth coming in. I enjoyed the visit even more because of her alone. 5 stars just because of her making sure I had a great experience enjoying some good food. read more

Just left sat down with my toddler and no one brung a napkin or said anything ... so I decided to order my stuff tog to go... minutes later spanish couple walked in didn't take a second they were on top of it hate to see this in my black community and hate to see that would treat black little girls like that glad I never took my child here before and will never be coming back or recommending them this is an unbiased review I was a waitress for Waffle House in Decatur and on jimmy carter so I know what being biased looks like so I'm definitely not crazy !!!!! I visited this location with my son. We both had a waffle, eggs, and sausage. I had the pecan waffle, which was prepared nicely and loaded with pecans. The eggs were nice and fluffy and the sausage had that good char on the outside. Our server was very attentive, and every time my son asked for coffee or a diet Coke (which was several times...he was really going through the Cokes) he said, "I got you!" He was upbeat. I liked him. I removed one star because they gave us plastic utensils. It's hard to dig into a pecan waffle with a plastic fork. Other than that, everything was just right! read more

I enjoyed breakfast at this location on Sunday morning after church. The restaurant was very clean and I was greeted immediately as I entered the door. The waitress took my order and it was ready after about ten minutes. Their Health Code score was a 91=A and I was very impressed. I ordered the chicken melt plate with hash browns. My food was piping hot and delicious. The Waffle House is open 24 hours a day 365 Days a year. You too can enjoy breakfast and lunch here anytime you like. Enjoy!!! read more

I must have came on a great night (Thanksgiving) because the place was clean (by Waffle House standards), and the waitress was pleasant. There were other customers, but the two waitresses and cook got them out in a timely manner. I got the order "to-go", so when I got home, I was excited to eat, but as with any Waffle House, I was skeptical. Thankfully, the grits with cheese were prepared . Noticed the manager was very active, directing the operation like a conductor directing a symphony. All staff were very friendly and seemed to enjoy each other and the customers. I often hit up Waffle House for a quick cheap breakfast. Food is usually decent, considering the price and limited selection. Food at this location was terrible. My "well-done" eggs were runny, the grits were lumpy and the toast was barely brown. I gave it 2 stars because the Waitress was friendly--although she was forgetful and slow as molasses--and the coffee was hot. Won't be visiting this location again. read more
