This was my first Waffle House experience, not exceptional but also not bad, food was good, hot fresh and quick. I had sausage, egg and cheese hash brown bowl with gravy, it was good and plentiful. The gravy could use a little more flavor. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. Dining area was clean but small. We had a counter seat and you can see under front counter where dishes are hand washed. Service was friendly, I can't say I would never return but it may not be in the normal rotation. read more

When we entered the door there was a hostess waiting to seat us immediately and it was a quite bit of people in the restaurant because usually you would have to wait. The food was quickly made and it was very good and fresh. The restaurant looks like it was remodeled. The waiter was so nice and he made sure we didn't have to ask for anything. Let me just say that the employees at this location is what keeps me coming back! Seriously they all are so cool and I enjoy coming here and catching up with them. My son and I are regulars so they know us pretty well. They have had their ups and downs but I'm happy all have stuck it out through the pandemic. The restaurant is open and fully staffed. They will be undergoing a much needed renovation soon for the next 6 months and I'm excited to see the changes. Food is always hot and fresh and I love that after all of these years they still use real eggs! Breakfast is my favorite time to come but I do love their Patty melts! read more

I myself can see the strangeness that I have never having a waffle and a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one. After a nighttime bioluminescence paddle my friends and I were headed home when we realized we were quite hungry. It was after midnight and our dining options were limited, thankfully the Waffle House was open. We got there on a Saturday night before the early morning crowd started to come in. The staff was friendly, professional, and very fast with greeting us, taking our orders, and serving the food. I got one of the larger menu items that comes with a waffle, eggs, etc. It was standard Waffle House fare yet it was served hot, which made it taste that much better. We all enjoyed ourselves. Wonderful service in this renovated, clean traditional Waffle House. We stopped in before a day out and I was shocked by the great food and coffee. Typical greasy breakfast selections, but the biscuits were soft and buttery, eggs fresh, and the All-star breakfast was fantastic. And. Or your typical diner coffee--actually good. This restaurant is open even on Christmas (11/25) and New year eve. I don't eat meat so I ordered an off the menu item, i.e. egg cheese grilled sandwich with jalapeños. The bread used is off the shelf, petite and quite cheap so the grilled sandwich kind of succumbs to the weight of the griller. Nevertheless, it tastes good but one won't fill you up. Went there on Easter morning for a nice after church breakfast. The quality of the service was fine. The quality of the cook was fine. Why the bad grade? The syrup for the waffle turned out to be tainted and my body couldn't wait to get home and up chuck the whole meal. So Long Waffle House!! Screw me once shame on YOU. Well, it's a Waffle House. Waitresses that do their job quickly and without an over abundance of cheer, milk in little cartons and hash browns coming smothered. There's an IHOP and a Cracker Barrel in the immediate area, and I'm certain either of them could give you a better version of what Waffle House considers food. The place is clean and operates efficiently, so as far as Waffle Houses go, it's not too bad. But clean or no, the sausage tastes like it's 50% sawdust and I've had better breakfast out of an Eggo's box. But that's the Waffle House experience. I wish that something could be done about the way the manager (Andrea) treats the servers here. The two times we have been to this location, all she does is berate them and put them down. She literally yelled at them during our whole meal at one visit. People complain about the poor service, but I have only encountered kindness and attentiveness from the servers here. Not very good service. I found a hair in my burger and they didn't seem to care at all. When I checked the burger and saw that there was a hair on it, they barely acknowledged it's and just threw out the burger. They aren't wearing hairnets in the kitchen. That is insanely unsanitary, and very disgusting. The waffles were very thin, as if they put a small amount of the mixture in. They weren't the nicest people either. Not only that, but the tables were sticky. It's crazy that they cannot keep up with the business. It wasn't even busy. It's very disappointing how unsanitary this diner is. Love Waffle House so tried again the next day, waitress forgot my waffle, my only item ordered, then brought me the worst pecan waffle that has ever been set before me. And there have been hundreds. Was only pecan dust, not pieces, must have been the end of the pecan bag, and was only half cooked, so soggy and inedible. If I could give a ZERO for service I would. I waited for 10 minutes to be acknowledged and seated . There are no open seats aside from the countertop. And there is one table recently the previous people left but the table is dirty. One server addressed me directed only asking if I was eating in and didn't say anything else. Waiting....... Guy and family comes in behind me, he checks that I'm waiting. His family come in behind him wait for seconds then sit at the dirty table. The staff begins to clean the table. ???? Never have I been anywhere and that happens. I check with the staff. Oh yeah you seat yourself. I'll give you that, but normally that something to announce to consumers upon entry or at least upon addressing them. But where do you allow your consumers to wait, not seat them in the order entered only to allow them to sit and eat at an uncleaned and sanitized table even if we were not in these times of COVID?
