Finally got to try the chicken & waffles, and the food came out super fast. Alicia (I think!) was so sweet and patient, and I really appreciated the security guard and cameras - they made me feel safe that late at night. This was my first time at any Waffle House ever! I was so excited to try it because I've heard so many good things. We came in on the weekend in the late afternoon and sat at the counter. It was busy and people were waiting to be seated, it's pretty small in there. Our server was not the most friendly, but she did her job. Since we sat at the counter, the grill was in full sight. We saw the workers handling food without gloves, and I didn't see a single person wash their hands over the course of an hour. No surprise, my stomach was NOT having it. Their only saving grace was the cold brew coffee, the actual food was not cooked properly and midhandled. This is my go to for food after hours... simple and filling. Although this location closes the inside at a certain time, and you have to use a pick up window. Once you make your order they let you know how long the wait and you can wait outside the window or in your car. read more

Great service and the food is what you would expect from a Waffle House. Very quick and was worth the stop since it is the closest WH to us. I wanted to love it even if just for the movie appearances it's had. BUT it was HARD to focus on anything but the Flies . Sooo many flies. Unhealthy number of flies to be inside a restaurant. Our booth was near a huge window and they were all congregating trying to escape. But instead repeatedly landed and bumped into us. Spent the entire time seated shooing them away. The portions are really small. The photos on the menu are definitely more enticing. When your food arrives it's kinda like "where's the rest?" As a very very first thought. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. When we first arrived we were giggly and excited . Joking about what kind of seedy person we're gonna run Into for murder for hire/drug deal....thats typically every movie scene that involves Waffle House. As we waited for a table that wore off and we started to notice the flies. The workers all in the "kitchen" without hair nets. One worker that was working and snacking. Tables get wiped down between guests but the dropped food and messy floors don't which honestly is less of a big deal if it were the only iffy situation. Staff was friendly. I like the Waffle House but will say it is not the cleanest of places. If you sit at the counter (not good idea), you can watch how they prepare the food. I typically sit at a table. I usually get a waffle with bacon and eggs. I wish that they would cook the waffles a little longer so that it would be a little more crispy. I'm not sure if that is an option. read more

You know exactly what you're going to get: crispy hash browns, greasy bacon, buttery grits and biscuits, and decent waffles (that are now, strangely, a bit more fluffy and chubby than I recall from my college days). Fantastic Breakfast. The fact that you know exactly what the kitchen looks like. The speed. The basics of it. The cook was awesome pushing breakfast out within 5-10 minutes. The coffee was not weak. As you can see in the picture. As for the waffle, fantastic! There is something about the butter and the syrup. Hubby usually likes Peanut Butter in his waffle, but we just got the regular one. The bacon was delicious, thick and 3 slices!!! So, 2 breakfasts, 2 coffee & 1 waffle was $33. Can't get that price anywhere else. Usually try to visit this location when in the area before heading back to San Diego. This morning I brought my daughter in and the place was poppin'! Short wait but worth it. The crew was on point. A red-haired lady with a bright smile (Jadyn?) brought us drinks, our waitress with awesomely styled nails took the order and brought the food, prepared by a locked-in, focused group of cooks all up and down the line. It was an impressively coordinated display-- teamwork and focus while having fun. The SSC hash-browns perfectly crisped, waffle fluffy and fantastic-- I've eaten at many a fine dining establishment (with prices and snobbery to match) and they'd do well to take note-- this Waffle House has got it goin' on. Visited 5/31/2022 This place is disgusting. Surrounded with homeless living in the parking lot and around the edge of the building. The kitchen is extremely filthy and visible to all. The server was extremely unfriendly and acted like she hated everybody. Way to get tips young lady. Obviously the employees don't care about their job and make absolutely no effort to sweep the floors or clean anything. I love going to Waffle Houses for consistent cheap good tasting meals. They always have a lot of staff and are very friendly. I was alone so I ate at the bar which allowed me a great opportunity to watch the cooking in action and the friendly banter of the staff among each other. You can tell a lot by how the staff interact with each other. This staff clearly like each other and seem happy to be here. I had the all star special with hash browns, sausage, scrambled eggs with added cheese, wheat toast and a waffle. Of course, the waffle is the star of the show at any Waffle House and they make them just right. I wasn't a fan of the sausage and would choose bacon for future meals. First time at the Waffle House. I arrived at 9:45 on a Thursday and it was nearly full. The hostess seated me in about 5 mins but the counter seat spot was still dirty. She shrugged her shoulders and went back to her station. My server, Tina, greeted me quickly and said she would wipe it down. I ordered a waffle, plus hash browns with onions and gravy. It all came to only $8.60. My breakfast arrived in five mins. Everything is cooked to order but they have waffles and hash browns cooking at all times. The waffle was good but not great. Very thin, light but not fluffy. The browns were okay as well. They were nice and crispy with plenty of gravy but the onions were raw, instead of sautéed, as promised. The place was very loud, especially at the counter, where the servers yell the orders to the cook. Aside from the dirty counter, the restroom was DISGUSTING. There was pee all over the floor, the sink was dirty and the mirror was smudged with something (I didn't want to know). Probably no return visit. read more

I've yet to have a bad experience at a Waffle House, but this was our first and only time here. Our food was overcooked, and our waitress Jenet was one of the rudest waitresses I've had in a long time. Got in, was seated upon walk in and then left to wait. Our original host gave us utensils and bounced helping out every other table except ours with no communication. After a while of waiting I finally got the attention of another host by the name of nicole who was very sweet and did her best to recover the irritation of my table but it was slim.
