I could not say much about the ambiance because I couldn't eat inside but it seemed like this location cannot handle huge groups of crowds. It's smaller than I thought. Finally got to try the chicken & waffles, and the food came out super fast. Alicia (I think!) was so sweet and patient, and I really appreciated the security guard and cameras - they made me feel safe that late at night. I like the Waffle House but will say it is not the cleanest of places. If you sit at the counter (not good idea), you can watch how they prepare the food. I typically sit at a table. I usually get a waffle with bacon and eggs. I wish that they would cook the waffles a little longer so that it would be a little more crispy. I'm not sure if that is an option. read more

Good heavens. This has to be the worst Waffle House locations in all of Arizona. I would recommend driving across town to hit the next location. First, I will say that the team is great. Attentive and helpful. And they definitely hustle. And they are consistent. You know exactly what you're going to get: crispy hash browns, greasy bacon, buttery grits and biscuits, and decent waffles (that are now, strangely, a bit more fluffy and chubby than I recall from my college days). But, goodness, this place is filthy. Notably worse that most other Waffle House locations. I won't be coming anywhere near this location ever again. read more

Usually try to visit this location when in the area before heading back to San Diego. This morning I brought my daughter in and the place was poppin'! Short wait but worth it. The crew was on point. A red-haired lady with a bright smile (Jadyn?) brought us drinks, our waitress with awesomely styled nails took the order and brought the food, prepared by a locked-in, focused group of cooks all up and down the line. It was an impressively coordinated display-- teamwork and focus while having fun. The staff is pretty friendly, I had a good waiter. The food not so good. My steak was cold when they first brought it to my table. I had it reheated, it was still very uneventful. My grits were very lumpy, I couldn't eat them. I was totally disappointed with the food. With food prices as high as it is, Im upset that the food was so subpar. I probably won't return. Fantastic Breakfast. The fact that you know exactly what the kitchen looks like. The speed. The basics of it. The cook was awesome pushing breakfast out within 5-10 minutes. The coffee was not weak. As you can see in the picture. As for the waffle, fantastic! There is something about the butter and the syrup. Hubby usually likes Peanut Butter in his waffle, but we just got the regular one. The bacon was delicious, thick and 3 slices!!! So, 2 breakfasts, 2 coffee & 1 waffle was $33. Can't get that price anywhere else. The only place that I can trust to eat a good breakfast anytime of the day. Also, Hubby ate all his grits. So I guess that is a good sign about that! PS. Visited 5/31/2022 This place is disgusting. Surrounded with homeless living in the parking lot and around the edge of the building. The kitchen is extremely filthy and visible to all. The server was extremely unfriendly and acted like she hated everybody. Way to get tips young lady. Obviously the employees don't care about their job and make absolutely no effort to sweep the floors or clean anything. PROS: - The parking lot is small, but there is a rear open area behind the restaurant that has more parking. - The staff here work their a$$es off, but they can improve the queuing system. - The food is just okay. I love going to Waffle Houses for consistent cheap good tasting meals. They always have a lot of staff and are very friendly. I was alone so I ate at the bar which allowed me a great opportunity to watch the cooking in action and the friendly banter of the staff among each other. You can tell a lot by how the staff interact with each other. This staff clearly like each other and seem happy to be here. I had the all star special with hash browns, sausage, scrambled eggs with added cheese, wheat toast and a waffle. Of course, the waffle is the star of the show at any Waffle House and they make them just right. I wasn't a fan of the sausage and would choose bacon for future meals. Everything else was just as it should be with consistent coffee refills and frequent check ins by my waitress. Good job Waffle House! Now, please open your stores in the Puget Sound area! read more

The place was dirty, food was all over the floor where the staff just talked around it rather then sweepir up. The floor was so greasy the waitress almost fell a few times. First time at the Waffle House. I arrived at 9:45 on a Thursday and it was nearly full. The hostess seated me in about 5 mins but the counter seat spot was still dirty. She shrugged her shoulders and went back to her station. My server, Tina, greeted me quickly and said she would wipe it down. I ordered a waffle, plus hash browns with onions and gravy. It all came to only $8.60. My breakfast arrived in five mins. Everything is cooked to order but they have waffles and hash browns cooking at all times. The waffle was good but not great. Very thin, light but not fluffy. The browns were okay as well. They were nice and crispy with plenty of gravy but the onions were raw, instead of sautéed, as promised. The place was very loud, especially at the counter, where the servers yell the orders to the cook. Aside from the dirty counter, the restroom was DISGUSTING. There was pee all over the floor, the sink was dirty and the mirror was smudged with something (I didn't want to know). Probably no return visit. read more

My girlfriend and I love Waffle House, it's our go to quick date night. With that being said everything about our experience here was bad. I've yet to have a bad experience at a Waffle House, but this was our first and only time here. Our food was overcooked, and our waitress Jenet was one of the rudest waitresses I've had in a long time. Where do I start... this experience has definitely ruined my want to return to any Waffle House destination. My crew and I came in to grab a quick lunch before heading out to our concert. Got in, was seated upon walk in and then left to wait. Our original host gave us utensils and bounced helping out every other table except ours with no communication. Rude, attitude, and unprofessional. After a while of waiting I finally got the attention of another host by the name of nicole who was very sweet and did her best to recover the irritation of my table but it was slim. Nicole took our food and drink orders and we got our food in about 15 mins. We were seated by the kitchen & it was a bad idea being that it was not the cleanest. But I should have known just by looking at the staff's attire. This was definitely an annoyed experience.
