The ham was so salty its like eating salt from the box 12 .09 2025 was very upsat they couldnt have washed off the meat. it like its fresh cut meat from the smoke house. come on Waffle House you can do better read more

I go in there every day and I have not had a bad meal yet! I really live the servers there! There are very nice!

It pains me to say, but the outside of this restaurant is pretty run down and the inside wasn't much better. We sat at a table and it was sticky (and we were the only ones there) and the waitress had to wipe it down again. Our waitress was the sweetest older lady and had a great attitude. She took our order and unfortunately someone else delivered the food, which was incorrect and had to be changed. There were 4 servers in a restaurant that by 20 minutes in had a total of 14 people and one cook. The food was probably the most disappointing; the waffles were not even close to how I remembered them. They were a ¼ to 3/8 of an inch thick and we too crunchy. The eggs were not over medium, they were closer to between over medium and hard. But the sausage was good. We also had coffee but it was pretty weak and the refills were few and far between. Needed a nice meal later on in the night on a Sunday..this place is great! I don't understand why it gets a bad rep.. ignore the negative reviews..I felt like I was with family the second I walked in. Service was excellent. Do yourself a favor and stop in. 24/7 breakfast. Absolutely disgusting! Upon entering we were told we could not be seated and they were only taking takeout orders. That was strange since we saw tables full of plates from previous customers. That should have been our first cue to leave, 6 people on staff, no face masks, and no clean tables but we decided to just order anyway. I figured maybe they had a big dinner rush. We sat at the counter and were asked if we needed menus. Sure I'll take a menu since they are pretty helpful when ordering at a restaurant. No less than 5 seconds after receiving our menus the staff started to fuss and curse each other out as if we and the other customers were invisible and not there. One guy even walked off the line basically saying he wasn't going to work. Meanwhile we take a closer look and the line is filthy. Between the cursing, dirty floor, counters, tables, and told we couldn't dine-in because you just didn't feel like cleaning off tables is enough for me to never return to that location. Oh did I forget the customers coming out as we were going in saying they were being antagonized by the staff? Actually that should have been our first cue not to go in. Not knowing the back story we entered at our own risk. In stark contrast, further down Watson near the mall, the Centerville location was immaculate. We were greeted, seated, and given menus. The staff was friendly, accommodating, the food was excellent, and they exhibited what teamwork looks like on a shift. Guess who kept coming in the doors? People who experienced the Twilight Zone Waffle House where we ran from. Is the manager aware he's operating two different places??? read more

You know that you've been spending too many days in training classes in rural Georgia when a big night out on the town consists of a trip to Waffle House. Well, it was either that or suffer through another meal in the mess hall. Now don't get me wrong, the folks at Waffle House do a mighty fine job serving up tasty meals in the middle of the night, or as they call it "Good Food Fast". In some parts of the Deep South this is your only place to eat something other than a greasy burger. So, the guys in my class all piled into their trucks for our trip into town. The folks behind the counter were super-friendly and delighted to see our group taking seats at the counter in the middle of the night. The coffee was fresh, hot, and very strong which was a big hit with everyone. I ordered the Rib eye steak with eggs and cheese grits, and it was darned tasty food at 2 in the morning. Somehow I know that I'll be back.......and soon! read more

The crew that works during the day are beyond outstanding, very welcoming and the customer service is spectacular....on the other hand the ones that work during the night are Unorganized useless...half the staff is out smoking booty instead of working, food is not as good...not tryna make this about ethnicity or anything but the day crew are mostly white and the night crew are all black if the night crew were just as ambitious as day crew then I would consider giving 5 star read more

We stopped here to grab some breakfast as most other restaurants were busy. We realized why this Waffle House was not busy.. there were four empty tables, one with dishes still, ugh and the remaining ones with nasty dirty tables. We sat at the cleanest table for a little more than five minutes being completely ignored. That's when we saw the coffee pot with a bucket for a water leak from the ceiling. Ugh again. We got up and left then one waitress came over to us, looked at us but said nothing. There was plenty of help, hanging around the cashier.. I would give it no stars if I could. I've been here a few times. I don't expect too much. Just good food, fast. This particular location can only seem to do that when business is slow as hell. I spent 40 minutes trying to get two cheese n egg plates, to go. The greeter welcomed me and asked me if I was dining in or taking out. Then forgot about me. She didn't let the servers know that the man standing at the register was a new to-go order. So I stood for a good five minutes, probably being wrote off, by each server that saw me, as someone else's customer waiting on his server to cash him out. My server was attentive, friendly, and personable. She got my order right. However, the grill team was communicating terribly. Not making some orders, whule making others twice. If they got something confused, they didn't ask the servers about it. They would just put out the wrong food and remake the order when it came back. The second time they made my food, it was perfect. This location is fine, unless you can see that they're busy. If they are, go eat elsewhere. read more

I knew I was in trouble when I walked in and the crew didn't greet me with the standard "Welcome to Waffle House" I laughed and was really shocked and dismayed at the story of the black lady who went into a Cracker Barrell and cried racism and discrimination because all the other diners were white. I walked in and sat at the counter and was summarily ignored by everyone. Every other diner in the place was black, as I patiently sat there, still ignored, five blacks came in and sat at the counter and were immediately served. I still sat patiently thinking maybe another server was responsible for this single station. I was proudly wearing my President Trump 2020 "Keep America Great" hat. I cannot deduce whether being ignored was because I was wearing my President Trump hat or was I really being ignored because am white? I waited at least five minutes to be at least recognized that I was sitting there and then got up and left. I will never return to this place. read more
