I've been wanting to check them out for some time. Service: When I walked in, there were only a couple of folks already waiting for their meal as I placed an online order. Noticed they had a sign stating how long it will take to complete orders, which I thought was a great ideal. I walked in, and there was no one to greet you as you walked in. Once greeted, the staff was very nice and willing to assist. Ambiance: It is a very divey establishment and seems really cool to take your family and friends. Clean floors and tables. In addition, you can purchase merchandise that represent them (shirts and hats) Food: I ordered the chicken & waffle, and the breakfast Sammy. The waffle was delicious! Unfortunately, the chicken was too salty for me. Enjoyed the thick cut bacon, and the egg can be cooked however you like. Portion size was just right, and the prices were average. Overall: I would suggest that there should always be someone up front to greet their customers as they come in and not the whole staff be in the back of the establishment. Also, I suggest to automatically provide plastic ware to all to-go orders. I truly recommend stopping by checking them out and enjoying some delicious food and atmosphere. I tried WL, just the waffles when my husband bought it from his office, from there food truck, even in the evening(he had gotten it in the afternoon), it was still crispy on outside, light and soft inside, I loved it so much, so was craving for those waffles again in the weekend, placed order online which was easy-peasy, there was 45-50mins eta for the order, weekend so understandable. My husband was on time for picking up, and it was still hot when he reached home, but unfortunately waffles were not crispy on the outside, but still light and soft inside, it just had to be in grill for a minute or so, but other than that waffles were good, chicken strips on the other hand were just okay, they were not bad but nothing like wowww either, will be trying waffles again, probably in the weekday, hopping it'll be crispy and soft. Overall definitely try this place!! read more

I used to live in Round Rock and I am so mad I hadn't come earlier and more often! I don't have the biggest sweet tooth so I was pleasantly surprised by the pretty equal options of savory waffles! I am a big advocate for the Chicken Avocado Tartine, which I ended up subbing the grilled chicken for fried chicken. This is the move, y'all! The egg was perfectly runny, there was a decent amount of avocado, and chicken was still so crispy. The waffle itself was very croissant like and not soggy at all. And the sauces just tied everything together. Not to mention, it was super filling! I want to come back and try some other options but I'm afraid I will just order the same thing again. read more

Looking for the best waffles in Austin and found this place such a cute vibe! I couldn't wait to try the grilled cheese waffle with the tomato bisque and yes it was GOOD and flavorful. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles and wow the chicken was nice big pieces we were surprised compared to all the places we've tried and the portions were just perfect! The service could have been a bit better when we were ordering the girl in the front didn't seem like she enjoyed working there and wish they had more coffee options! We will be back to try the banana cream pie and other stuff on the menu! read more

I got the basic chicken and waffles here since that was what I was craving. My partner got the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. They were both delicious! It's everything you expect to get from chicken and waffles and grilled cheese with soup. I especially enjoyed the awesome sauce and probably used that more than the syrup for my chicken and waffles. The portions were just right so that you can probably get desert. I wasn't in the mood for dessert in the afternoon but I'm already planning on coming back for the sweet options! The restaurant was full so you can't go wrong giving this place a shot and getting some sweet or savory. read more

Waffle Love makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Every time I've been there the food has been delicious and the service is friendly and helpful. I usually opt for the sweet over the savory but I have absolutely loved everything I've tried. Portions are good sized. My favorite sweet choice is the Red Wonder with fresh raspberries, strawberries, cinnamon spread and plenty of whipped cream. As far as savory, the grilled cheese waffle with fried chicken and tomato bisque are my favorites. The tomato bisque is my absolute favorite tomato soup ever! Very flavorful. I get a side of it even if I choose a sweet waffle. My friend loves the Sammies. SOOOO much better than any other waffle place. You can't go wrong with whatever you get. Highly recommend! read more

If you love waffles, then this is your spot ! The menu is a hit for fans of both sweet or savory waffles. Don't come here in a super hurry (order online to go instead), as the waffles are made fresh so even when the place isn't super busy you'll have to wait 10-20 minutes for your food. My family tried the Nutella love , Nashville hot, grilled cheese with bisque and the special which was a sticky finger hot chicken sandwich. We all enjoyed the meal and ate everything on our plates. I would say the bisque needs more of a tomato forward taste. Also whatever sauce comes with the sticky finger special is FIRE! Put that sauce on everything lol, it's like a sweet / spicy hot syrup sauce. Also they give military discount , we love that . read more

Ordered chicken and waffles they ended up putting my order with someone else's order. I asked about my order they explained what happened. Told me they would remake my order next. Other groups came and their orders were made before mine. Ended up asking for a refund but they refused my refund on the bottled milk they gave me because I opened it. So I'm left with a warm bottle of milk I'm not drinking and no food after 40 minutes. Yeah not coming back. read more

Dang and double dang this is a tasty place. We got breakfast dishes and they were FANTASTIC. We went at about 1pm and apparently the earlier you go the more crowded it is. That's because it's awesome. The staff were all quite nice and there was a lot of cleaning going on which is nice. My spouse had the chicken and waffles and it's among the best we've had. I had the waffle and eggs with bacon and it was delicious. read more

Stopped by here on our way to a baseball game, was craving something sweet and this checked the boxes! It's located in a small business area and depending upon which direction your coming from it's hard to see until you are right up on it. Once inside it's super fun and cute! Lots of variation in seating options. Staff was super helpful in our decision as we had never been here. I went with the fall flavor Pumpkin Spice and my friend had the red wonder. Our impression started when we called to ensure they were open on Sundays since they had not been in the past. The young man who answered the phone was very warm and friendly. The cashier was also nice and helpful. We ordered the chicken and waffles, Breakfast Sammy, nutella waffle, and banana cream waffle. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed theirs. The coffee was also quality. On another note, the layout was a bit odd, almost as if the larger section was an afterthought. Plus, it appeared to need a good cleaning. I am not sure if this was due to lack of staff, though. Either way, we enjoyed the service and food enough that we will return. read more

I recently saw this chain in Utah but never went. And then boom! Here it is in Austin, apparently the only Waffle Love in Texas. It has a cute, bright interior full of happiness and it's not hard to see that this is the brand of the place. I wish I had seen the back wall that had quotes and portraits but alas, didn't notice it until we were running out with our order to our next appointment. What we got: Chicken & Waffles - 4* the buttermilk fried chicken was amazing! And I loved both sauces this comes one; syrup and a savory sauce that has a little kick to it. The Sunshine - 4* what a fun treat to eat after our savory waffle. The lemon drizzle was fantastic. I thought the cream was pretty good but wished there were a few more raspberries than what it came with (I like my fruit to be plentiful). read more

I didn't think this place was all that. There was 1 cashier taking orders with a line of people waiting to order. The menu flashed by on the TV so fast I couldn't see what was on it. The chicken and waffles was $15 with tax. It was a big protein but the chicken was kind of bland and the breading was falling off. The waffle wasn't good, as it was super doughy and almost undercooked and SUPER sweet. They were out of croissant dough for their sandwiches. Also the floors were sticky and dirty and tables weren't cleaned. I definitely won't be returning here. read more

We didn't even leave crumbs on our plates!! So, this was our very first time at this very popular waffle place. As soon as you walk in, you get nothing but excellent vibes. Good music playing, all-around feel-good and feel the love for waffles! When I researched to figure out if they were open on Saturdays, I got different answers from various sources. They're voicemail says they're open on Saturdays at 9am, but on Yelp it says they're closed on weekends. On their very own website, it says they're closed on Sundays, and on Google it says they're open. And after many unanswered phone calls, we decided it was still worth driving by, and sure enough it was open! The waffles were very crisp! 'Cause you know, never(never) eat(eat) soggy(soggy) waffles! My children had from the kids menu, and they absolutely loved the great flavors on their waffles. I ordered the Chicken Avacado Tartine and it was flawless! Great flavor, great presentation, and very satisfying. My wife had Chicken & Waffles. If you could choose between breast or thigh, she would prefer thighs, but it was still enjoyable and delicious. So, when you first walk in, you start by placing your order, you pay, and then you are given a number for you to place on your table of choice. There was a 20-30 minute wait notice for our food, but it arrived at our table in about 15 minutes or less. Overall, a great experience, and we can't wait to visit again! Great for families, children, groups, etc. read more

There didn't appear to be a designated curbside pickup area, and I had to repeatedly blow my horn so the person could locate me where I was parked. A clearly marked pickup space or a more efficient notification process would greatly improve the customer experience. Overall, the food, especially the Avocado Toast, was very good, and I would return. With a few improvements to the curbside service and a little more flexibility in how the eggs are prepared, the experience could be even better.

We finally made it out to Waffle Love in Round Rock for the first time with my wife and daughter, and it did not disappoint. We popped in about 30 minutes after they opened, so it was nice and quiet--no crowds, no rush, just a perfect start to our day. The service here really sets them apart. From the moment we walked up, the cashier was incredibly friendly, and the staff member who brought our food out was just as welcoming. They kept checking in on us throughout our meal to make sure we were taken care of, which made for a really pleasant, stress-free dining experience. As for the food, it was excellent across the board: The Sandwich: I went with one of their sandwiches and it was great--definitely hit the spot. The Waffles: My wife and daughter shared an order of the waffles with strawberries, and they absolutely loved them. My wife and I both agreed that this is officially on our "must-return" list. There's such a great variety of both savory and sweet pastries it's so hard to choose. The associates packed my treats up very well. Would definitely go back. It's a little ways to get there, but it's very worth it.

We got an order of a cheddar biscuit, GOAT toast, and a tomato and cheese focaccia. I enjoyed the biscuit the most. Sadly we weren't too happy about the other foods. I don't know if we have to ask to warm the food up but the items were cold so it was mediocre. Also, I thought I could take out the fig on the GOAT toast, but it is already mixed in the spread. It was a bit sour for my liking. The focaccia was airy, but it was like eating a pizza that was left out for a day. Service is great but we won't be coming back for the food unfortunately.
