Came for a weekend lunch at 12:30pm but the restaurant wasn't crowded. However, I would make reservation nonetheless, to prevent disappointment. I was introduced to the various food stations before being brought to my table. I liked the ordering system that the restaurant used. I chose the tier which I want and the server input my option into the system. The screen on my table would show the tier and would start the count down on the number of minutes I have left to put my order in. I could put in 15 items in one order. If I would like to put in another order, I would have to wait 7 minutes which wasn't too bad at all. The server would come to help to cook some meats. My server was always present and helpful. There were great meat and sides options. The meat was fresh and of good quality. I tried different nigiri and they were good. There were slushies, two different kinds of milk tea (I was told it was made in-house), and fountain drinks to choose from. Rice and miso soup were self-service too. Dessert choices were matcha crepe cake, Swiss rolls, chocolate or vanilla soft serves, cheese tart, or egg tart. They were all yummy options. The interior of the restaurant is simple, and the colors are warm and welcoming. There are outdoor tables which I believe are for customers who are waiting for available tables, as the tables do not have the grill. Wagyu House isn't in The Galleria shopping mall. The nearest exit from the mall to Wagyu House is from The Cheesecake Factory. Turn left and walk all the way straight. Wagyu House is beside Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse.

First of all you can do valet parking which costs $12 or find parking in the garage. When you walk in the hostess explains the menu and different tiers on the menu. The whole table has to select the same tier. Once you're seated you're timed and only get 90 mins to eat. The inside had tables with screens on them. The screen showing you the amount of time you have left. You order on the screen and theres a limit of the amount of meats you can order per round (7 min increments). The meats do come out quickly and you cook it yourself. The special meats are cooked by the server. I did the diamond tier and you select two special meats and 2 special dishes per person. The concept of this did not make it feel like it was unlimited because you're timed. 90 minutes go quick especially when you're cooking your own food. They have desserts, fruits, curry rice, sauces, and milk teas that are self service. They have a bunch of different cuts of meats and even had a few sushi items. The quality of the meats were delicious. Some of them melt in your mouth. My favorite was the a5 striploin. It was so buttery smooth and had a little umami flavor to it. The rice was a perfect touch with this meat. The sushi was also not bad my favorite was the toro nigiri and maguri nigiri. I thought the pieces of fish was generous. The server was also great. He was very accommodating and explained everything well.

5th in the series of chubby group 5 stars all the way around from food, service. And we will keep going until we try all of the restaurants. Hopefully I get blessed with a black card

Halfway to 90! In town from the DFW and let the bday festivities commence!! But first - FOOD!! I had such a divine birthday experience here, and a huge part of that was because of Su. As soon as he asked what if I was celebrating anything and I told him it was my birthday, he made the whole experience feel sooooo special. You order from a pad style device and it was easy and seamless. Food came out quickly and fresh!! Ironically, if you view some of my videos you'll easily see how customer centric and focused they are. The servers were the main event. The quality easily justified the pricing IMO. Quality of the meat was on par for the course. Beautiful marbled, buttery and tender in the best way. They have a salad bar style area with some really fresh ingredients to add to your experience. Think kimchi, mushrooms, clams, wasabi octopus. A rice machine that you can elevate if you so choose w/ a Wagyu curry - think of an extremely Bougie beef stew - sooooo good!!! I really enjoyed the cooking element - much different than other "open flame" BBQ's I've been to. I feel style cooked the meat more slowly and was more forgiving! ( in case you get distracted while eating all the other goodness they offer!) His recommendations were completely on point, and everything I had was OMG delicious. He was patient with me, always smiling, and just had such a kind, welcoming presence. He even asked if I wanted them to sing for my birthday, which I thought was such a sweet gesture. I turned it down ( I didn't want all that attention or smoke lol) so I said " let's just keep it between us two" and just like that Su and I had a secret pact. Honestly, just the offer to sing made me feel so cared for in that moment. The restaurant was clean, the service was perfect, and everyone was amazing, but I definitely have to give a special shoutout to SU! He may have been my server, but he truly helped turn dinner into an experience and a really beautiful one at that. Highly recommend. I had an amazing time and will definitely be back like soon. Like maybe today soon!

Beautiful interior and atmosphere -- the restaurant feels upscale and the service from Kyle was excellent. The specialty short ribs were my favorite dish, but most of the regular meats were just okay for me. The seafood unfortunately tasted too fishy for my taste, and the toro handroll had a bitter flavor that threw off my appetite afterward. I did enjoy the matcha crepe and liked that drinks are included with AYCE. Overall, I think the experience stands out more for the atmosphere and service than the food itself. Also, the 90 minutes goes by very fast, so order early.

Please note this was their second day being open. When I arrived, there were people already there waiting for it to open. They had their Yelp iPad outside for people to join the waitlist. The wait wasn't too long after they opened as they were giving people time to walk through the restaurant and get seated at their table. There was staff meeting along the way to your desk greeting you and clapping as well. Lucky for me, this isn't my first time at this chain, so I was familiar with most of the process. I selected my tier and started ordering all the meat and items as I can from the iPad to maximum time. After that, I explored the drink and side/food bar to see what they were offering. I like that they had slushies here that are included. For the side section, for them being just open, some of the sides were not refilled or placed out yet. I didn't get to the food bar, but I did get to try one of their wagyu sliders, and it wasn't bad. The meat did take some time to come out. How the system works is you are able to order about 10 items every 7 minutes, but when you place that order, it goes to your waiter or waitress to confirm it, so there is a process time involved before it heads to the kitchen. Which I understand is to prevent people from overordering, but it is taking time out of the experience. When the meat arrived, it was good, it was tender. But as I was ordering the same cut of meat, I noticed it was either cut differently or the marbling was different, which led to a more chewier experience. Also, once you order, you kind of lose sight of what came out unless you were able to listen to everything the staff mentioned that came out each round. I wish there was an option on the iPad to say it was delivered or completed or in progress. I think this will also help with the overordering of food. As for the waitress who helped me, she was nice and friendly. It was her first day. She asked if she could do some of the cooking and asked for feedback throughout the experience to help her learn and recommend things to other customers in the future.

Went right when it opened, so no wait on a Friday. I will say, I found the service to be above par. The server was knowledgeable about most of the menu. Servers knew which cut of meat was what when delivering. They helped cook the premium cuts of meat to requested medium rare and all seemed genuinely friendly. I cannot say I was a fan of any of the bar items. The wagyu sliders were cold and salty. The corn and sweet potatoes with cheese were all a little gross. The wagyu curry and stew were similar to the ones at mikiya, a little underwhelming but not bad. The egg tart was good, very eggy and even the crust was sweet. I liked that they had so many drink options and their ice cream tasted better quality than most soft serves. I wonder if it was like Hokkaido cream type. Probably the most disappointing thing I got was the lobster roll, but the specialty menu is limited for people who don't eat raw. On the gold tier meats, we tried the short rib, the ribeye, and the otoro. Tbh, only the otoro stood out to me as being way better quality, texture, and flavor. The other two were good, but not 20 dollars extra good you know? Especially for the tiny cuts! My fav normal cut of meat was the wagyu brisket. They had such a large selection that it was really hard to try everything. I think my suggestion would be to skip sides like the dumplings and tempura. I really liked their tom yum, but it was HUGE unlike all their other portion sizes. The theme of a lot of their dishes was the heavy hand on the salt. Example: their steamed egg was so salty it almost hurt to eat. Some of the cuts of meat felt a little rubbery or tougher, but for the most part, still delicious. If you arent as into the seafood or raw, the higher tiers don't seem worth the price of $78. But there's really a lot to try in the silver tier and I think the $58 is a decent price point for the selection. Overall I'd eat there again, but probably skip the higher tier. I think their location being in the busy galleria makes it less likely to casually go though.

I recently visited Wagyu House and had a really nice experience overall. One thing I appreciated was the variety beyond just the meat selection. They offer milk tea options, desserts, and several starters that you can self-serve, which adds to the experience! Our server (I'm so sorry I forgot his name) did an excellent job explaining the menu and the different dining tiers. He made it easy for us to understand what each option included, which was especially helpful for first-time visitors. The meat selection was definitely one of the highlights. There was a good variety to choose from, and everything we tried was enjoyable. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they offer some sushi as well. I personally didn't try any during this visit, but it's nice to know they have that option available. Overall, I had a great experience and would come back again, especially for a big meal or a fun AYCE hangout with friends.

Overrated... The specials meats are good but you are limited on plates per person .. all the other item menus are mediocre at best. The food comes out slow, and they expect you to finish within the allowed time when you still haven't even received half the food you ordered 3 times already. They also limit how much you can order at once, then make you wait 10 minutes before ordering again. On top of that, there's no way to keep track of what you ordered or what's actually been delivered. Definitely not worth the price. Stick to Chinatown

Had the opportunity to participate in their soft opening. Jin was an excellent server. Very attentive, approachable, and hospitable Quality was excellent Beef tongue platter, a5 wagyu striploin, wagyu lean meat, wagyu skirt were one of the favorites. The fact that its wagyu all you can eat at such a reasonable price is great! Will be coming again next time I visit Houston

We came around 5pm on a Saturday and there were no wait. Staff were friendly, our server Jacob was awesome! He is attentive, quick, and polite. We ordered all the Wagyu dishes on the menu and the food was good. I will definitely come back!

    Austin N.

Food was just okay to me since I'm not really into fatty foods unlike my parents. Our server Jacob however was super accommodating, very knowledgeable about the menu and was willing to do some "off menu requests" like asking for a bowl of sushi rice. The look of the place is pretty high end and as all you eats can go has some nice quirks like a on screen tablet. I don't get anything for this review I only did it because Jacob was top notch and the desserts were pretty good.

Hoang took excellent care of us. He explained the process very thoroughly and checked on us frequently. He was patient, kind, and fun to crack jokes with. I've been to a couple of Chubby Cattle locations, including the ones in Chicago and Mikiya Shabu House in Houston, but this experience is my favorite. Because we went on a Saturday night, it was very crowded and difficult to navigate through the walkways to the self-service areas. Despite the crowd, everything was still perfect. They offer three options: Silver, Gold, and Diamond tiers. We went with the Gold tier because it gave us more options and made the most sense price-wise. For non-members, it was $78. It is a bit pricey for AYCE BBQ, but it was well worth it due to the excellent food quality and the service we received. I loved having both BBQ and shabu as options, and the slushie machine was a great bonus. This is a unique experience that everyone should try out. I will definitely be back and hope to be in Hoang's section again!

I wasn't that hungry because I had food yesterday I ordered a kids cheeseburger burger with fries, a kids meal chicken tender with fries, a farmhouse burger, and the half chicken with biscuits. I also had the his biscus lemonade. Needless to say--well actually, quite needing to say since this is a review after all--the food was pretty good. Prices were a little crazy but it's become all to normal in this day and age. As for the food, I ordered a kids cheeseburger burger with fries , a kids meal chicken tender.. don't feel like saying all this again. As for the food, the service was pretty good I guess. The girl servers were pretty smart. The boy servers were a little less smart. Every time the guys brought food, they either stood there looking around, or attempted to place the food on top of other plates or napkins that were on the tiny table. I suggest maybe a boot/concentration program for the guys so they can concentrate a lil more. Ok, it's time for me to go. I'm gonna go to sleep after all the food. I forgot to mention what I ordered. kids cheeseburger burger with fries, a kids meal chicken tender with fries, a farmhouse burger, and the half chicken with biscuits. I also had the his biscus lemonade. The half chicken was obviously what they tried the hardest in. There were 4 types of sauce with it. They were all pretty good, but I didn't eat the chicken. The chicken tasted incredible-- so much so that I finished it completely. But I don't like eating around bones, I find it primitive. I'm more of a chicken tender kinda guy if you know what I mean. Oh yeah and for the food, I had a his biscus lemonade. It was SO good. Alright. And that is the end of my review. I hope I did t forget to list my food items because I've gotten hate messages calling me weird. Anyway, I'm out chat. Thank you to my faithful followers. Wow this place really blew me away. It's a near perfect spot for a business lunch or dinner (or if…read moreyou're willing to splurge with your own money for a good meal or a hot date). I wasn't sure what to expect based on the name of the restaurant, but essentially their seafood options are spectacular. And it feels like an exclusive club because the decor and service are both very much high class and special. We tried the coconut shrimp as the appetizer and really liked it. It was lightly fried and the shrimp was cooked to perfection - not under and not over. I would highly recommend this one to start. Loved it. If you're looking for a fair-priced meal, they have lots of salad and sandwich options. I tried the salmon poke bowl and it was so delicious. The fish was extremely fresh, and all the flavors blended together really well. It was like a healthy party in my mouth. It was great decision. You wanna splurge a bit and live large like YOLO? You gotta get the crab cake. Now, how good can a crab cake be? Well, if you're paying close to $50 for one crab cake, you better believe it's gonna be freaking awesome. And alas, it was. Best crab cake I've ever had in my life, no joke. And I've tried a lot of crab cakes in my many decades of dining out. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back many times. Enjoy! Quick note on parking - plenty of parking in a huge lot shared by many businesses such as Kenny and Ziggy's. Only annoying part is several sections of the lot are designated for specific businesses, so just look for the signs and be willing to park a little bit further away towards Taco Deli and Bluestone.

Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in quite some time. We had an 8:00 PM reservation but weren't seated until around 8:30 PM. While delays happen and I was willing to overlook that, the experience only went downhill from there. We ordered Palomas to kick off our Friday night. The drinks took quite a while to arrive, and when they did, they were noticeably watered down. I politely mentioned it to our server, who quickly took them back and brought replacements, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the second round was nearly identical to the first. When I brought it up again, instead of acknowledging the feedback, the server responded by saying it was "just not a sugary drink." That completely missed the point. I wasn't expecting a sweet cocktail--I was pointing out that the drinks tasted diluted and poorly made. What bothered me most wasn't the drinks themselves, but how the feedback was handled. I wasn't looking for free drinks or trying to be difficult. I was simply offering honest feedback, and it felt like my opinion was being dismissed rather than heard. Unfortunately, the food didn't redeem the experience. We ordered several dishes to get a good sense of the menu, and most were overwhelmingly salty. The salt overpowered any other flavors to the point that we couldn't finish some of the dishes. The sushi was the best thing we had, but even that lacked the presentation and quality I would expect at this price point. To be fair, the manager did remove the drinks from our bill as a courtesy, and I appreciate that gesture. However, by that point the damage had already been done. A resolution is only effective when guests feel heard and respected throughout the process. Instead, I felt like I had to defend my opinion and justify my feedback before anyone took it seriously. At the end of the day, a restaurant can be trendy, crowded, and beautifully designed, but none of that matters if the food and service don't deliver. Balboa Surf Club has the atmosphere and location, but in my experience it falls short where it matters most. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried it because I had always been curious, but now I know I won't be back and cannot recommend it. If you're looking for a similar concept, I'd recommend Hudson House. The atmosphere is comparable, but the drinks are consistently well-made, the food is much better, and the service has always been far superior.

East coast oysters: 9/10 absolutely love them! The Prince Edward Island ones always have my heart! A little on the smaller side though Gulf coast oysters: 8/10 I'm usually not a gulf coast oyster person but I enjoy how hearty and fresh these ones were. And I also don't usually love the cocktail sauce but this one was rly good a little savory, spicy, and sweet and a healthy amount of lemon juice of course. Deviled eggs: 10/10 these were nice and creamy and had good crunchy texture with the bacon bits and pickles Steak nigiri: 8/10 I would have scored these lower if it weren't for the steak. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly but it the rice underneath just felt out of place and unnecessary and not too mention too plentiful. I would love a plate of just the steak and the compote or sauce that was on top. I will definitely be coming back and trying more items on the menu!

Then, went back to talking. There was one person serving. But no one else seemed to care to help her. I addressed that no one had helped me & i had been waiting. I made a police report, as a woman I should not have to defend myself against a grown man while patronizing a restaurant. Let alone by an employee.

Having said that, one would say that I'm a Crawfish whisperer In the past I've always waited until they are big enough to even take the time to eat the flesh out of the claws, and that time is NOW, when the NBA playoffs are in full swing... For years I have called Bayou City Seafood around this time to ask what size they are, and this year was no different. I trust them to be honest with me, and they always are. So, if you either love crawfish or if you have always wanted to try them, there's no place in the city that's better. We go at 6:30 and sit at the bar. I order three pounds, which sounds like a lot but the tail has all the meat. Corn and potatoes are extra and the Boudin as an appetizer is fabulous. BTW, one of their craft beers is the perfect pairing. The service is excellent and our waitress at the bar was new, friendly, and very accommodating. I can't imagine a better experience eating great tasting crawfish at a better restaurant than Bayou City. If you go, go now, and look for me at the bar I crawfish!!! Don't forget to 'suck the heads'! It's not the brains you're sucking, it's just the juices from the fat and the crawfish boil.

For example the crab bisque had an acidic taste to it and it didn't smell right. The crawfish etoufee was good but the roux could have been deeper for a more hearty flavor. My son had the fried oysters and he loved it. My husband ordered the seafood platter and found the crab cakes to be inedible. My mom is a scallop lover and was excited about her entree. The best part of her dish was the sauteed spinach. As for the restaurant itself, it's very clean and the noise level is pleasant.
