Truly a 5 star diner! We were headed back to town from Desert Hot Springs and I had eaten here at…read morePi Stop before and wanted to introduce my girlfriend to it since she loves Diners so much. First of all, there is a reason why everyone says Lola is an awesome waitress - it's because it's true! I was trying to decide between the pastrami burger ($16.99) and the chicken pot pie (also $16.99) and without batting an eye she said if you're hungry go with the pastrami burger. I then wanted to test the waters so I said "Okay, how about if we add the prime rib ($27.99) into the mix?" And she said prime rib is the best. Ultimately I wasn't hungry enough for a prime rib meal so went with the pastrami burger which is a smashburger patty with pile of pastrami, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato's & 1000 island served with choice of fries, onion rings, tots or side salad - and I got tots of course which were just as they should be - fantastic! (Side note: Which ever side you get, be sure to get ranch dressing - it's awesome!) The burger was fantastic. It comes cooked led-well and I like mine medium which they will do by request. Girlfriend got the veggie skillet ($18.99) with bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, avocado, spinach, home style potatoes & queso blanco - served with 3 eggs and any style toast but she decided to try peanut butter pancakes ($4 upcharge) and her whole meal was absolutely delicious! Also if you grab a Moromgo players card you get 10% off.

The only qualm I had with the food quality was my initial sunny-side eggs weren't the runny ones I want but rather overcooked like a heathen would order. But once I brought this up to the server, my eggs were replaced in less than four minutes so all's well that ends well. The server was kind of slow in getting my bill and never offered me a refill for my root beer, but it wasn't a huge wait and I ended up not needing that refill. Again, a push. The ambiance was good. It looked like any memorable diner, just with a muscle car theme. There was a lot of tables and it was busy but not overcrowded. I think this would be the place I ate at if I was a frequent Morongo visitor.

This is…read moretheir giant first floor restaurant, one end facing the casino floor and the other, Morongo's pool. There always seems to be a bit of a wait, but no waiting at the huge horseshoe bar where all food is served. Why wait? It's the best service of all with your friendly server right there. What's not on the menu? My gambling buddy and I ran the gamut from chicken wings to burgers to pancakes. No complaints about any dish. Reasonable prices for a hotel restaurant too. When you've lost every dime to the slots, every bit helps. If you are not already a member, join the free Morongo players' club. Ten percent off your restaurant check, hopefully that will not be your only win of the day. Good luck!

To be fair, this spot did not have a literal booklet of options, looking at you Cheesecake Factory... the items were just pretty diverse so it was hard to narrow down what their specialties were. Asked a server for help - wish I remembered her name, she was lovely... we came on May 16th, large group of about 14 people at around 1pm, hopefully that narrows it down a bit - and she helped me land on a fried shrimp platter with some fries and various dipping sauces. She was kind and patient so I really appreciated her suggestions. Food was hot, fresh, crisp and honestly surprisingly good. I'm not a huge shrimp fan (why I landed on shrimp is beyond me) but it was delicious. Tasted good quality, cooked well so it was not rubbery and was pretty yummy. Huge portion as well, had two coworkers split the rest as I was absolutely stuffed. Interior was casual, comfortable. I didn't pay too much attention if there was booth options or just open tables, but either way it was pretty spacious, bathrooms were easy to find, and the place itself was easy to navigate through. Sounds weird, but some places are super cramped and somewhat confusing. Place was chill. Service was good, food was good, price can't comment - was a paid company lunch, and location was convenient, right inside the Morongo casino. I am way out of the way of this place, but should I ever be in the area again, I'd suggest this place. Or in n out. Thanks for having us, hopefully our group was well-behaved!

Amazing. They make their own corn tortillas which is rare, and they are so thick! I think the tortilla was the best part! Everything was so fresh. They melted white cheese on the inside of the tortilla, so good. Service was super quick (I mean seriously quick, probably less than 2 minutes) and both the folks behind the counter were super nice. They have several tables in the shade and some benches nearby. I'll be back soon.

My friends and I were coming back from Coachella and the made it a point to stop here. They sell tortillas and they're so good. They have more bite than a regular taco and are a bit thicker. I got a taco and the quesadilla and the quesadilla was more than enough for one person. Both were delicious. The ladies running the business were so nice and fast. Parked on the side of the small shack and it was a walk-up and order type place with outdoor seating. It's a perfect place to eat lunch on the go. Definitely stopping here anytime I'm heading to or from Palm Springs or Coachella.
