Flavor was bland, spicy level was more like medium spicy than spicy spicy. Lobster and sausages were terrible, super dry, rubbery, and chewy. Went to The Kickin Crab recently and honestly the food was pretty good. The fries were super crispy and seasoned really well, probably one of my favorite things we ordered. The seafood had good flavor and the portions were decent for the price. The drinks were also good and had a nice spicy rim on them which was cool. Service was good and the staff was friendly and checked on us. The place had a fun vibe and felt busy but not too crowded. I really wanted to like The Kickin' Crab because the vibes and aesthetic are cool, and the place itself looks fun. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to that. First, our order was never put into the system, and no one realized until everyone else around us already had their food. We had to bring it to their attention ourselves, which was frustrating and set the tone for the rest of the meal. When the food finally came out, there were more issues. The potatoes were extremely large and not cooked thoroughly, which made them inedible. Size didn't matter when they weren't fully cooked. On top of that, ranch wasn't free, which felt ridiculous considering we ordered fries and onion rings -- foods that usually come with ranch or at least don't cost extra. The drink situation was also disappointing. Even with two bars, it still felt unorganized and slow. One positive is that the shrimp tasted good, although it honestly didn't feel like a full pound. Overall, the restaurant has a cool atmosphere, and maybe this was just a one-time mistake, but between the forgotten order, undercooked food, and unnecessary extra charges, the experience was disappointing. We had such a great experience thanks to our server, Tiffany. As a family of four with young kids, going out to eat can sometimes feel stressful, but she was beyond intentional and attentive in all the small ways that made a huge difference. At one point, our daughter noticed the orange garnish on one of our drinks and wanted one. We told her no, but Tiffany overheard and kindly brought her a clean orange of her own. It was such a small but thoughtful gesture. When she brought out gloves for our seafood boil, I mentioned we didn't need extra pairs for the kids. Tiffany smiled and said kids usually end up wanting them anyway and she was absolutely right. That level of awareness and experience really stood out. She also checked in on us often without being intrusive and made sure we always had what we needed. We left feeling genuinely cared for. It was on Christmas Eve. I called first to order my food and found out that the phone order has a limit I think about $250, and the online order is $150 I want to say after taxes. Just. All and confirm. Anyways, went in person to order my food to go. Few mins later it was ready. Smelled so delicious, once home open up the bag and found aprons, and the white parchment paper - the one they put on the table. It was very nice of them to do that. For the spice I pick medium. It was good just my weak sauce taste buds were on fire. I didn't care if my taste buds were on fire it was delicious. Next time I'll pick mild, extra mild or a different flavor. The Kickin Crab was Kickin' when I was there. I love this orange circle location because it was easy to find parking and it was nice to walk around after my meal. Our servers name was Gracie and she was amazing. It was my friend's first time having Kickin Crab, and Gracie. explained the whole process to her after we got our bag of goodies. There were several servers checking in on us to make sure that we were good and asked if we needed anything else. We got the lobster, clams and shrimp combo kickin style with medium heat. It was so good and buttery. We paired it with white rice and it was a perfect. So the space was very clean and they gave us gloves and a bib to make sure that we didn't get everything all over ourselves. I would highly recommend coming to this place because of the ambience service and delicious food. We know we'll come back. read more

Overall, my friends and I had a decent experience. But I think the oysters were bad because we all got food poisoning the next day. Garlic Noodles - 5/5 Super delicious. I love how there are big chunks of garlic in them. Eat it while it's hot because it's not as good when it's cold. Oysters - 3/5 Despite us probably getting sick from it, the oysters were just okay. They were a little dry. Seafood boil - 4/5 The seafood itself was pretty solid. I think that the flavor isn't quite there. But overall I enjoyed it. The crawfish is fresh!! Those were pretty good. Mussels were also good. If the juice was better, it would have higher score. It was also our friend's birthday, and they have a free cheesecake! Location is where the old Watsons Soda was in the Orange Circle. Easy to put your name on the wait list and then walk around the shops at the Orange Circle. The place is pretty spacious and clean. The food was great! We ordered snow crab and shrimp. They ran out of Dungeness crab for the evening. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and huge! The snow crab was nice and meaty. Went in on a Wednesday afternoon. Easy to find. Found 3 hour parking right behind the building. No wait. My friends and I were greeted and seated right away. We were surprised by how big the restaurant was compared to others. Really clean. Great service with attentive staff. Food came out rather quickly. The three of us shared the Combo #3 and it was the perfect amount and spice level (medium). Really enjoyed our experience here. The women's restroom was really clean too! All of the servers were really nice! However the food was disappointing. The shrimp with the head on has a weird taste. It tastes cheap and dirty. The crab legs were really thin with barely any meat. It also doesn't taste like they use real butter. The garlic butter tastes like margarine or movie theater butter. The all of the above sauce is okay but gets watered down by the mediocre seafood. read more
