Good tacos at fair price! Came here monday, late afternoon to find the restaurant almost empty. Parking is small but there's always a space. They had a 3 tacos and rice/beans for $13.45. I thought that's a good deal! However, your choices of meat is limited to chicken or carne asada. I added avocados on top ($2.00) which is good value for the amount. Also got their pre packaged brownie ($3.10). They have a lot of items in the menu such as protein bowls, burritos, tacos, soups, etc. Would definitely back to try out their burritos. Interior is nice and spacious. They have the condiments table with sauces and sliced jalapeños. They don't have napkins anywhere unless you ask for them. read more

Maybe it's the length of time since I have eaten their taco or maybe the menu is different, it was just an ok experience. This location was empty at around 6pm, more food deliveries than people eating there. I ordered the Wahoo bowl. Chose a protein, type of beans, over rice, pico de gallo, and citrus slaw. I had shirmp and black beans with avocado slices which was around $18. It was ok, shrimp were small but whole bowl is filling with the rice and beans. In the past; I usually order the fish tacos. But today, I got the Outer Reef Burrito with no rice and salsa. For the beans, you can choose either black or white beans. They were kind enough to let me sample the white beans. The ingredients were of good quality. However, the burrito just didn't work for me with the white beans. The decor looks like it was designed for Instagram first and actual culture last, and even the photos of "customers" on display all look exactly the same. Meal was good; however, the tortillas where not hot, the bottom tortilla was cold and the top one was like warm, probably due to the hot protein. If you do not call in advance, be prepared for a pretty substantial wait. Even if you call, sometimes it takes nearly 20 minutes for a single item. The plan was to have my daughter pick up Mexican food from the taco truck on 190th between Western and Normandie but they haven't been showing up at 6 as scheduled so she had to come up with a plan B. After deciding on Wahoo's, I had her pick up an Outer Reef shrimp burrito with rice, sour cream and guacamole. It's been years since I've ordered food from them since they closed Sportmart/Sports Connection and Borders books nearby so I don't really have a reason to go by there. I was pleasantly surprised with my burrito. The shrimp was plentiful and the flavor was very good. It was a good sized burrito so I was very content after my meal was done. I'll have a remember to check in occasionally when I'm near Del Amo Mall or at a doctor's appointment in the area.
