    Mold in soda machine

Food was fine but they had black mold in the soda and when we politely asked for a refund since we drank the soda, they got all weirded out by us telling them and gave us three dollars instead of doing anything about it when all we wanted is for them to fix it for other customers

This does not smell or taste very good

I came here to get passionfruit iced tea and paid for it and they were making it and I forgot to fill up my cup. I'm going back to get it but not to get any more shrimp because it's not very good. I do not recommend.

If you do want Wahoo's, don't go to this one. The service and food were horrible. We ordered 4 meals to dine in. We also ordered chips, which they charge for. The bowl was only half full and when my son asked for more, we had to pay for it. We spent over $70 for our meals. Then the food comes out, it looks just thrown on the plates. I ordered taquitos which were apparently not made. I had to wait another 10 minutes and my family was nearly done. The worst part-the photo is what they served for taquitos. Taquitos cut up and in a bowl, never mind that they were only half-filled with chicken. Sad part is we will probably never go back to another Wahoo's after this, it was that bad. First time at this location. The food here is delicious, there was great service, nice ambiance, and the music was very nice.

So consistent is the word on this particular restaurant. The service the mgr is always amazing greeting customers and actually checking up on everyone and serving so hands on with this place .... I have never experienced this in a fast food restaurant ... kuddos to him! I am actually impressed with him and staff the food is consistent and the margaritas are exceptionally great the mango in particular. I am truly impressed

The Manager Miguel was absolutely amazing! He made sure everything was taken care of and his customer service was excellent! Food was also delicious and the fish sandwich was so good! Place was very relaxed with nice outdoor seating, I recommend coming to check this place out if you want some good fish/chicken/carnitas or carne asada! Thanks again Miguel!

It was decent, the fish tacos could've had a little more flavor and same with the rice and beans.

Let me tell you- the unplanned is always the best! I had been wanting to try it but knowing the other locations had hard parking, and man oh man, one of my favorite meals and so well priced! 1. Red snapper with veggies and mushrooms. Wow! The fish was so full of flavor even before the sauce, well portioned, well priced. And the veggies were filling and cooked to perfection! 2. Fish and chips - have been on a mission to find good fish and chips- the fish was huge, tasty and meaty! Just a bit oily, but still YUMMY! Service: Corrina seriously is the reason I am writing this review! As I was frustrated with the parking situation by the harbor and just tired, she turned around my mood! She was so passionate and joyful about what she does and the food she serves! And she gave us the lowdown on the whole construction situation in Dana point! Thank you for your amazing service!!! Lastly: the inside is so pretty, inviting, and spread out and clean! Def will be back!! Thank you!

Got the: 1) lobster deviled eggs: 10/10, what sets a great deviled egg apart from mediocre ones is the filling, and the filling was absolutely scrumptious. 3 egg halves came with a lobster leg piece each. 2) crab cake: 5/10, never been a huge fan of crab cakes and unfortunately this did not change my mind either. It was still fishy and we ended up using the lemon for the cocktail shrimp on the crab cakes. Definitely will not get again. It's disappointing as seafood from Hook and Anchor is usually higher quality than this. 3) cocktail shrimp: 10/10, Interesting presentation on ice rather than a glass. 6 pieces of large juicy crispy shrimp with delicious cocktail sauce, and I love that they even added an extra dollop of horseradish because I love cocktail sauce with a good kick! 4) 6oz lobster roll: 8/10, the Newport Beach location gets a 10/10 for me because at this location: - The lobster was not very warm by the time it came to the table. - It looked deceivingly overflowing, but they actually did not fill the bottom half of the roll, so if you stuffed it all the way in, then it was just barely filling the roll. - mostly leg pieces and some of them were on the small side TLDR: great for happy hour (be sure to specify happy hour to the hostess to be able to order at the correct seat) but not up to par to the Newport Beach location.

Not sure if they don't have a manager but this place is in desperate need of management. When we walked up the employee working the host stand just stared at us so I said "hi we are here for dinner." And she replied "Okay" but then walked away. She came back and said we could sit on the outside now if we wanted so we took that. We were seated at 6:45-6:50 and apparently they have a special that ends at 7. The server didn't get to us until after 7 so we asked for the special but you would have thought we were asking for the server's first born. The server/runner who brought our food to our table looked like she was having a rough day. She dropped off the food in the dead center of a large table and said nothing. Now, the place is pretty awesome right on the pier. Also, the food was actually good - we were not optimistic based on the service. Lastly, I thought their prices were quite reasonable. We happened to stop nearby and decided to look around this plaza. We were starting to get hungry and Glasspar looks like the most appealing option so we decided to check it out. HAPPY HOUR: Mon-Thurs 4:30-6pm, Fri-Sat 4-6pm. Wow what a deal. I normally don't think about happy hour deals on Saturdays but we were pleasantly surprised. It was 5:30pm already so we had to make some quick decisions. Chad was very friendly and helpful with our order. We decided to get a Dozen and a Half Oysters (HH $3/each), an Oyster Shooter (HH $5), Duck Fat French Fries (HH $7), 1/2 lb Steamed Clams (HH $13), and Seafood Poke (HH $12). The specialty cocktails were such a good deal I wanted 2 but asked my boyfriend to order one so I don't look like too much of an alcoholic. I had the White Sangria Spritzer (HH $12) and a G3 (HH $12). Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time and Chad communicated checking on things for us as we were waiting. He was really on top of it. The oysters were awesome! My only regret was not ordering more. For the dozen and a half came with 6 of each of Baracats, Stingrays, and Pacific Plumps. I thought the baracats and stringrays were mild. My favorite was definitely the pacific plumps; it was sweet and creamy with a good bite to it. The shucking was also really well. I just want to give them that credit. The oyster shooter was strong, in a good way. Tasty! The duck fat fries were nice and crispy. It came with a rich truffle aioli. The steamed clams were good, but the slice of bread they gave us with it was burnt to an inedible level. I also would have liked a spoon to sip that garlic white wine and butter liquid. Clams were fresh. The seafood poke came with crispy wonton chips. It was decent. After our original order we decided we wanted to finish off with somethings small, so we got the Clam Chowder ($14). I would have liked it a smidge thicker in texture but the taste and the quality of ingredients are on point. I get the bacon essence and a good amount of clams in the soup too. I'm really glad we added that to our order. I also really like that the check comes in books. Chad told us that we can write a note in it if we want. They look at it like a way to interact with their customers. So cute!! We are DEFINITELY coming back here!! Next time I'll order even more oysters :)

We got seated immediately but it was right next to the hostess stand.. which felt like the lobby of the restaurant. Honestly felt like the reject zone. Especially when the pictures in Yelp of the interior looked so nice and had a great view. We had no view. The server asked if we wanted sparkling or still water, I got sparkling and he got still. Turns out they were $8 each.. had I known that, I prob would have gotten an actual drink. The bread was complimentary and that was great, especially since our toddler loved the sun dried tomato tapenade. He also got the kids Mac and cheese, I got lobster risotto, & husband got the seafood orecchiette. Mac and cheese was just average, risotto was a little salty and a bit undercooked. Seafood orecchiette was tasty but nothing I'd crave again. Overall just an okay experience. When we got the check, noticed a 20% service charge and wasn't that happy about it since we only had 3 people, the food was just alright, and we had to sit in the weird lobby-like area of the restaurant.
