I just happen to be in the area and I googled waffles. They came up. I saw that they had four stars so I'd figured I'd give them a try anyways walked in. There was only one person in front of us. We got to sit quickly and were greeted promptly. We were looking at the menu and they have very very a large amount of options they have breakfast they have lunch. They have American basic food and then they have Mexican breakfast which is really good. The person that sat us down right away, took our order for drinks. We got our coffee and orange juice really quick then the server came and took our order and she did recommend a few things what I could or cannot do or what I could add or not. Add since I didn't want pancakes. I wanted a waffle, but anyways, I ended up ordering the meat lovers. I believe I got ham sausage, bacon. I got the country potatoes and then I got over the eggs and a side of pancakes. My son got the green Chilaquiles and I guess they have green and red so he had ordered half-and-half but when they brought them out, I guess he only got green, but he said it was pretty good. he did not complain, which was pretty great. He kept serving my coffee so my cup was never empty, but yeah, it was great service. I mean, the place was packed so you know if the place is packed the food must be good so when I got there was really busy but then I guess after we were done I think it's slowed down but other than that it's very welcoming. It's family friendly. I seen a whole family take up like three tables, which is pretty good you know but the food is really good. It's fresh and it's delicious and I do recommend coming here either for brunch breakfast you know it's delicious. And you can bring the whole to enjoy some family time together.

I had a early morning workout, and it was quite intense. I was looking for a hearty breakfast. I checked the yelp app and found the wake up café. It was only a few minutes away. It's a little tucked away in a shopping center, but it fit the bill perfectly. I ordered a California omelette with hash browns, and we toast. The service was quick and friendly. They have good coffee with constant refills. The service was great. It's a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a good meal. It looks like they're only open for breakfast and lunch. If you're looking for a quick and handy place to get breakfast, this is it.

We ordered to go and the food was ready as soon as we got there to pickup. The place was packed and they were still quick. The chilaquiles were spicy and delicious. I just wish they had a little more sauce.

5 stars for friendliness and 3 stars for food. Service was great, but if you don't get a booth to sit in, then you'll it's cafeteria style seating. All the tables are connected and you sit next to others. The food tasted fine, but it wasn't the greatest we've had, not in the top 20 of places. The eggs for the Benedict were hard boiled and not poached. We notified them of it too. Burnt hash browns. French toast was soaked in cinnamon, so each bite was just a mouthful of a cinnamon roll. Eh, like I said, it was okay. I'd recommend finding another cafe to have breakfast or brunch if you're in the area.

I came in on a slow Friday morning around 0845 and had breakfast by myself. I was promptly seated and chose the sausage scrambler, a biscuits with gravy, and a cup of coffee. My food was brought out promptly and my coffee cup was refilled every time I turned my head. I enjoyed the spicy sausage and was overall quite pleased. I wouldn't mind coming back should I be in the area again.

It has a bit of a European vibe. Today I ordered the Gluten Free Turkey Crepe with caramelized onions YUM! The burst of flavor with my first bite was heaven. The gluten free crepe had a good flavor & texture. It was served with sliced red potatoes whose presentation was pretty with the red peel intact but they were a bit underdone and not hot. That said the flavor was delicious and I ate some of them anyway. There is a pretty outdoor courtyard outside for dining in warmer weather. Coming here feels like a staycation. It has such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. I can hardly wait to come back again soon.

You will more than likely wait around 30 minutes to be seated, why you ask? Because the line is long due to the exceptional food! The first time I walked in a couple years back I remembered going there as a child with my grandfather in the 70's. Great start to know that they have been in business that long (actually a couple decades longer) and there is still a large demand from the customers. The place screams vintage inside and not the kind of trendy after market remake kinda stuff. It takes you back in time with old construction and art work. Once you get a seat the staff are prompt and very friendly. The food comes out quickly and is always hot and fresh. I have never experienced a chile verde chilaquiles quite like the one served here before. It's just so authentic and the best comfort breakfast meal I can find in town. The only negative we would say about the food is the tri tip was a little on the dry side, and the chicken fried steak was mostly batter. Both still tasted good, though. Just wished the tri tip was juicier and chicken fried steak was proportioned better with meat vs batter. Sides were really good (descriptions in the pics). Food was 4 stars.
