Cute little place with quite a few choices on the menu. The portions were large enough to share for breakfast. The service was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The food came out in a reasonably decent amount of time. It was a quick and easy stop on our way to Yosemite.

A nice and friendly restaurant, very clean. I tried the red chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and steak. The food was delicious and excellent coffee. I will be returning to try something else.

I had a early morning workout, and it was quite intense. I was looking for a hearty breakfast. I checked the yelp app and found the wake up café. It was only a few minutes away. It's a little tucked away in a shopping center, but it fit the bill perfectly. I ordered a California omelette with hash browns, and we toast. The service was quick and friendly. They have good coffee with constant refills. The service was great. It's a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a good meal. It looks like they're only open for breakfast and lunch. If you're looking for a quick and handy place to get breakfast, this is it.

I just happen to be in the area and I googled waffles. They came up. I saw that they had four stars so I'd figured I'd give them a try anyways walked in. There was only one person in front of us. We got to sit quickly and were greeted promptly. We were looking at the menu and they have very very a large amount of options they have breakfast they have lunch. They have American basic food and then they have Mexican breakfast which is really good. The person that sat us down right away, took our order for drinks. We got our coffee and orange juice really quick then the server came and took our order and she did recommend a few things what I could or cannot do or what I could add or not. Add since I didn't want pancakes. I wanted a waffle, but anyways, I ended up ordering the meat lovers. I believe I got ham sausage, bacon. I got the country potatoes and then I got over the eggs and a side of pancakes. My son got the green Chilaquiles and I guess they have green and red so he had ordered half-and-half but when they brought them out, I guess he only got green, but he said it was pretty good. he did not complain, which was pretty great. He kept serving my coffee so my cup was never empty, but yeah, it was great service. I mean, the place was packed so you know if the place is packed the food must be good so when I got there was really busy but then I guess after we were done I think it's slowed down but other than that it's very welcoming. It's family friendly. I seen a whole family take up like three tables, which is pretty good you know but the food is really good. It's fresh and it's delicious and I do recommend coming here either for brunch breakfast you know it's delicious. And you can bring the whole to enjoy some family time together.

I came here because of the reviews. So I came in and the atmosphere was very pleasant and friendly. I sat down in less than 5 mins in a booth. The server came to my table promptly and ask how I was. I was provided with a menu and I decided to eat the chilaquiles Rojas with 2 sunny side eggs with a cafe de Olla. The food came promptly to my table. This did not disappoint. It was on the bit spicy side but it was so delicious. Highly recommend coming here. It does get busy. Will come again when I'm in town.

5 stars for friendliness and 3 stars for food. Service was great, but if you don't get a booth to sit in, then you'll it's cafeteria style seating. All the tables are connected and you sit next to others. The food tasted fine, but it wasn't the greatest we've had, not in the top 20 of places. The eggs for the Benedict were hard boiled and not poached. We notified them of it too. Burnt hash browns. French toast was soaked in cinnamon, so each bite was just a mouthful of a cinnamon roll. Eh, like I said, it was okay. I'd recommend finding another cafe to have breakfast or brunch if you're in the area.

We ordered to go and the food was ready as soon as we got there to pickup. The place was packed and they were still quick. The chilaquiles were spicy and delicious. I just wish they had a little more sauce.

If im clueless let me in on the Vietnamese coffe you know of...anyhoo If you're looking for a caffeine kick, the cold canned Vietnamese coffee will give you a jolt you wouldn't believe. Food-wise, the Peruvian grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and well made, but I'd recommend asking for the sauce on the side unless you enjoy a messy sandwich. The ham and cheese croffel had great flavor, but it was a little light on the ham and cheese. I think the cropples are better suited in the sweet variety as they seem small incompressants to a ham and cheese croissant someone would purchase for about half that price. In my opinion, it was more of a kid's snack than a meal and not quite worth the price, if you're actually hungry I would go with something else off the menu. Everything was made fresh , you must be patient here , perfection can be slower than your metabolism, so dont go there hangry. During my visit, Hector explained that he envisions Uncharted Adventures as a gathering place for the community. The business frequently hosts weekend vendor markets and local running clubs. Hector also shared he was creating a dedicated Memorial Day wall honoring local veterans, first responders, and teachers, while also working on an outdoor eating area. It's always great to see a Hector and Chris, and the new Adventures they take on. This is one of the few coffee shops in Bako worth checking out, whether you're stopping in for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a community events theyre hosting give em a visit an introduce yourself. You can thank me later. .Overall I would give everything a four and a half Stars but since Yelp doesn't do half Stars I'll give them a five out of five stars. As they deserve a free half star for all of the Uncharted Adventures that they are a part of...lol get it.. nevermind.. bye for now...

Their hype was definitely due to the 'aesthetic'. Nothing is really outstanding to me. The drinks are such a let down, the coffee is borderline yuck.. do not recommend. Everything is quite unmemorable. Service is whatever, sometimes mid, sometimes bad. Nothing outstanding. Ambiance.... well... this one has been replicated one too many times. The food is heavily missing flavor, the hummus is disgusting. I can't believe they call that thing hummus, it's an insult to actual dish.. it's almost like it was trying to imitate the real dish, but failed terribly in even attempting to. Their pizza tasted like play-doh and looked very pale. Smitten is at least consistent with one thing, which is their staple: no flavor. One of the breaking points for me was being served food that had someone's HAIR. The restaurant is very expensive for the poor experience they have to offer. I stopped recommending them a long time ago.
