A lady came over after I got wings and I asked for buffalo sauce because I didn't have it, so she came and I told her regular sauce. She said which one? She was confused and brought hot sauce. Okay Waldos!!! You have a lot of competition in Southlands so you need to step up your game!! I have gone through the drive through once and dine with in twice and every time I have ordered Plates and every single time NO cheddar biscuit!! And that's the reason for the two stars!! Foods pretty good for fast casual probably 4 stars but the service up front and getting my order wrong ordered potato wedges and got fries plus totally missing the cheddar biscuits three times!! Amazing chicken, piss poor customer support atleast on Tuesday afternoons from the person taking orders from drive through. Went through the drive through ordering chicken and biscuits, a freebirs with wedges, and a side of Mac of cheese which I was accurately charged and heard them repeat back the order and charge... came home to see chicken and biscuits was only biscuits, went back ask for original order/ manager and they gave me another order of biscuits again without seeing a manager. My husband works in Aurora and has recently tried Waldo's. He ordered the chicken sandwich, wedges, and biscuit and said they were great. So I had him pickup an order and bring it home. I expect that dining in is better but we had an order for pickup and we live a good distance south. We ordered chicken wings, 1/2 chicken, 1/4 chicken, potato wedges, macs and cheese and onion wings. I thought the chicken was just ok. The macs and cheese was pretty dry and I had to pay 3 extra dollars for onion rings. I only got 3 onion rings in my box!!! What the heck. Our bill was $57.51. This place is great! The chicken is fantastic! We've had the fried chicken, chicken tenders, and the chicken sandwich. The sides are excellent, Mac and cheese (our family consensus favorite) and Cole slaw are the family go-to's. Ordering is different (fast-casual style) but once you've been through it once it's easy to figure out. The side sauces you get to choose from are really good. We've had most of them at this point. They have all been very different so it's a preference thing for sure. I like the habanero oil with my fried chicken. The ranch is homemade and tastes good, which is a must with the kids. The Buffalo is also good. The lemonades are delicious. Honestly the only bad reviews I've seen for here seem to be people that couldn't handle the fast casual order style, and the price. Neither complaint makes sense to me. The prices are fair, Kids meals are actually cheap and a very good deal. Two tenders, side and a drink for $5.99 is a great price. The cost of the other adult items is pretty standard, anyone that thinks they are expensive apparently are mistaking them for a fast food chicken spot. The prices are comparable to anything else in Colorado. In fact we paid less to go here for our family of five than we did to eat at Chick-Fil-A recently. It's also cheaper than several other chicken sit down restaurants I've been to in the state and just as good if not better. It's not much more expensive than fast food chicken, but it's exponentially better quality. Our first time in, Ben, one of the managers, went out of his way to make sure our experience and food were up to our liking and expectations. He chatted with us and let us know about the food and the restaurant itself. You could tell he cared about the customer and the business, which seems more and more difficult to find these days. The other staff were friendly, and any needs we had were dealt with quickly and professionally. On a side note, the only thing I wish they had was Nashville hot style, but the habanero oil sauce makes a decent subsitute. We will absolutely be back, my kids love it and so do I. If you are a fried chicken person I highly recommend. Just know going in that the ordering process is a little different, and the prices are not fast food (although kids meals are cheaper than fast food!) and you will have a good experience. Ordered a chicken fingers meal with mac n' cheese, coleslaw and potato wedges. The chicken is really good. I would go back just for the chicken. The other sides were good, for the exception of the potato wedges. The wedges were terrible. They came with the meal, so we didn't really have a choice in the matter, but I would go without them if you have the option. read more

The set up is different than I expected. You order first then sit down. We just got a family meal with 4 pieces of fried chicken, mac and cheese and fries with coleslaw and their biscuits. From walking in till the time we left we were wildly impressed. What I assume was the manager was very welcoming and helpful with choices, as we've never been to Waldo's before. The bartender was also incredibly nice and helpful with selections as well. Although it was more of a fast food style our tables were tended to and the staff stopped by to check on us. The restaurant was very clean with more of a bar feel so there were TVs to watch sports as well as other shows they had on. It wasn't overly loud so we could hear each other which was really nice. Best of both worlds. I wish I would've grabbed the manager and bartenders names so I could shout them out here but either way we both throughly enjoyed ourselves. We drive almost two hours for Sam's Club twice a month from the eastern plains and we will most definitely be back as well as recommend it to all of our friends and family. The food and beer were absolutely delicious. My husband being from the south absolutely loved the cucumber salad but the Cole slaw was also to die for. The chicken tenders and sauce were the star of the show though. More than anything we will be back because of the staff. They were great! read more

This place is gooooooooo-oood! Pricey but what isn't these days. Way better than Raising Canes and better than Slim Chickens (I do like Slim's, though). I get one of the sandwiches and the flavor is tasty, crispy. Sauces are perfect. They have good ranch, folks! The sides are yum. Banana bread pudding is delicious. My husband, friend and I went here for dinner. We arrived 4 minutes before close and totally expected to be turned away. The manager, Ben greeted us warmly and said we could absolutely sit down and eat. I was so thankful because we had been moving all evening and were starving! I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese, my husband got the chicken and our friend ordered the tenders. We all loved it! That hot chicken sandwich though....so delicious! I work in the area and don't have a long lunch break so I decided to roll through the drive through. Prices seem pretty decent and the menu looks good. I ordered the OG chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese and a coke. I was asked if I wanted to add a tip which I think is odd for a drive thru, but I don't mind throwing a couple bucks so I did. The guy at the window was nice but forgot to give me a fork so I had to walk back in and get one. A little frustrating since I gave the dude a tip. The sandwich was good, the chicken was delicious but the bun is weak and barely held the sandwich together. The Mac n cheese is yummy. They could spend a little time spraying cracks in the drive thru to kill the weeds so it looks a little better. I'll probably give it another shot some day. read more

I wouldn't recommend walking in and eating inside the restaurant. You're asked to order at an awkward counter at the center of the restaurant, then find your own seating, AND THEN separately go to the bar if you want to order drinks. We asked for a high chair for our little one and ended up having to grab it ourselves after waiting way too long. No waters given, no silverware provided. Even though the restaurant has some fantastic Rock & Roll posters, the actual music being played was dreadful. That being said, the chicken was excellent, among the best I've had in Colorado (why is it so hard to find good chicken here?). Mac & cheese and coleslaw were great. PLEASE hire an experienced FOH manager to clean up the restaurant experience. I am desperate for more restaurant options in the area and could see myself here on a weekly basis with friends and family, just not in its current state.
