You would never expect to find Korean fried chicken that's this good in a random strip mall in Highlands Ranch, but CM Chicken makes it happen. This is a chain from South Korea. It's Choong Man Chicken, not Chick Magnet Chicken as you might assume. I have to imagine that the locations in Korea look drastically different than this one does because there's nothing slick about the interior here. The inside of the restaurant might make you wonder what would ever make you find this restaurant that's tucked in an awkward corner of a strip mall, but the fried chicken will make you realize you've discovered an international chain hidden gem in Douglas County of all places. The chicken comes out hot, generously sauced, and even the fries are good here. The owner is super nice, and CM Chicken is up there with Bonchon, Bb.q, and Dagiya as one of the top Korean fried chicken options in the entire Denver Metro area. read more

The chicken was very fresh and had great flavor outside of the sauces. I purposely had the sauces on the side to dip the chicken in. I ordered a half chicken with fries. The nice woman offered to give me some rice to eat with the chicken and that hit the spot. I should have also ordered some kimchi with it, but I will next time. read more

It's going to be a YES from me! This place was not only delicious but the lady was incredibly friendly and helped us with allergies. We got the half bird, kimchi, Korean dumplings, and rice. We also ordered a side of curry sauce, which is a sweet sauce. I would order everything again but try the garlic sauce chicken next time. The dumplings were super yummy too. Small Korean chicken shop in Highlands Ranch on the corner of University and Colorado Blvd on the west side corner. You can eat in but there are very few tables. We placed an order to go for a 10 piece of wings with a side of spicy garlic sauce. The food took quite awhile to come out and the place wasn't busy. Also, the cashier didn't speak English very well, so we struggled a bit during the ordering process. But the food was very good, and we will definitely get the chicken again. read more

I ordered delivery from CM Chicken and was really disappointed. I ordered a half original with snow onion sauce and half garlic spicy chicken, but what I received was a mix of random pieces -- mostly boneless not what I ordered. The chicken was really dry and tough, like it had been sitting for a while or overcooked. The texture was chewy and not enjoyable at all. I ended up not being able to finish it. read more

This was the best restaurant experience I've had in such a long time. Every item we ordered was cooked fresh and to perfection, every menu item we saw go to other tables looked divine. The customer service was impeccable, we we looked after and made to feel very welcome. The restaurant is small and hard to find, but it is so clean and the space is used very efficiently. I would eat every meal at this restaurant, can't wait to eat our way through the menu. Delightful establishment! read more

By far the best Korean Fried Chicken I've ever had! The lady who takes your order is originally from South Korea. She's amazing. Always happy to serve you and strike up a conversation. She gives amazing recommendations and was impressed that I love spicy sauces. The restaurant looks great and the seating is comfortable. Always busy when I'm there and I understand why. The food is delicious and they offer many different varieties of Korean dishes. They also serve Korean Soju and soft drinks too. It's a great place to visit if you like spicy crunchy fried chicken. They offer less spicy sauces. Great for the family or grabbing lunch with fellow colleagues. The french fries and side of rice were cooked perfectly! Definitely a mom and pop restaurant. First time at this Korean chicken restaurant. I got the soy garlic wings. The wings and drumsticks were some of the largest wings I have ever eaten. But while they were large, they weren't particularly meaty, in fact they seemed to have lots cartilage. I think I will try the boneless next time. I also wish the batter was a little more crispy so I think I will just ask for extra crispy next time. So enjoyed the pickled daikon radish that comes with each order. They threw in a small order of rice to try so please note that it's the sticky rice style and is not flavored at all. While I waited for my food I was offered either a strawberry or melon popsicle that was more creamy than icey. It was pretty good especially since it was complementary. This 92 chicken establishment is supposed to change over to CM chicken and was promised that it would be better food. Stand by for my next review. read more

Wow. Awesome crispy fried chicken. This is the real deal. Order a full chicken of the Garlic Soy flavor - fed both of us and we had leftovers to take home. Served with a side of pickled radish - nice balance to the chicken. Garlic Soy is rated "one chili" so some spice - they have mild and spicier options too. Will definitely be back. Server was nice - offered us gloves in case we didn't want to get our hands dirty and wet wipes. CM Chicken is the go to spot for my daughter and I. Being from the South it's hard to find good food in Colorado, especially fried chicken, but CM is the best. For the last two years we have eaten here approximately twice a week with no complaints. The staff know us by name because we visit often. I enjoyed this Korean fried chicken joint and was blown away by the experience. The chicken was piping hot, wonderfully crispy, and bursting with flavor. What really stood out were the very generously sized wings (compared to wings you get at Red Robin, BW3, etc.) that were incredibly delicious. What makes this place stood out than other few new Korean fried chicken places are great food and service! We found the place out on yelp and decided to check it out. At first, it was hard to find because it was dark when we went there and they did not have the sign lit up yet. Once you get in, the place is nice and cozy. The lady at the counter is warm and welcoming. She went through the menu with us and offered us to try some of the sauces. My husband got soy garlic chicken strips that so delicious!! And I ended up stealing few pieces from him ... I got KimBap, the Korean roll. It's so good and reminds me of Mom's cooking. She also gives out Korean pickles to try out ..so yummy!! Well this go around the double feature was a win for us. 6 tacos total, 2 sides and 2 drinks.. for $20. I think that's a winner in my book. The tacos were great. Tried one of each and was happy with them. Additionally the sides added a nice tough as well. Lastly the drinks, well just what you need to finish off a great meal. Service is always good. Definitely they get busy around dinner time but if you come early enough you should be able to get a table without any issues. Try it.. you might like it too

The corn was lukewarm-warm and the dish it's served in is so small that it's annoying to eat. There's little to no spices to it, and is not recommended! The chips are dry/salty and the salsa with diablo was hot, but just that. So not really yummy either and we both only ate about 10 chips before we tired of the taste. I suppose the people eating here look happy so perhaps it's just me but these tacos are meh. I'm writing this review to remember how meh this place is. Apparently I'd been to this location before and forgot how loud the music was (this time was better!) and the food was "decent" then too. Oh! The kiosks are god-awful. They take forever to load the order you've placed, you have to designate a guest and if you ask for help, they'll just have you go to their service pad and redo their entire order. Because they don't "know how to operate" those kiosks. Ridiculous. Bartender said this for clarification, not the staff that's normally handling the front desk... so there's that?
