They drop the ball constantly. They sat on a prescription with problems in the order from the Dr. without contacting the patient or the Dr... for 3 days! Surgery is scheduled in 3 hours and pain meds were ordered 3 days ago, but they can't fill the quantity (30) ordered, so they sat on it. They could fill a lesser amount (20), but they sat on it. When called they were told to fill it for the lesser amount and we'll be in to pick it up in an hour. They said they were sorry, but they couldn't do that because they are "short staffed." Surgery in 3 hours. 3 days they sat on it, but they won't take any action to try to make it right or help us out! Wow! Thanks Walgreens! Wow! Wow! After a miserable doctor's exam, I was advised that I need to test my blood sugar. I supposedly have a great insurance plan Anthem Blue Cross. Doctor sent prescription over to Walgreens to fill. After my discount, my glucose meter cost $122.53 + tax. After getting home and reviewing the costs, I found that Walgreen charges customers without insurance $21.99 + tax for the exact same item. I went back and purchased the same item for $100.54 less!!! THIS KIND OF "RIP OFF" MAKES ME SICK!!! Will return tomorrow, HOPEFULLY THEY HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION!!! read more

It has a good Pharmacy and a nice staff. The managers and Staff both are very caring and helpful.

This is a 24/7 pharmacy. All that means is it takes them 1-2 days to fille your prescription even for an urgent situation. Literally, the WORSE pharmacy in the area. They offer no empathy, no explanation, and no apology. The wait time to pick up your prescription is at least one hour in store or drive through. It takes them forever to transfer your prescription to another pharmacy too. They failed us miserably twice. My family and I will never use this terribly understaffed pharmacy for any medication or shop there. People should really boycott this pharmacy if you care about your medication. read more

Had to put down one star to be able to post this. Went into to pick up my prescription. Took three people to look for it. It was supposedly filled on 6-14-21. At last it was no where to be found. How could it if it was never filled?!!There's a bunch of words I would like to use and I waited until I got home to write a review or else it would have been R rated. Only reason why I chose this RX was because it's near my house. I have never ever used Walgreens before and this is the reason why. So upsetting. It's not like my car runs on water. Terrible service in the pharmacy! Two cars in the drive through but the car at the window has been parked there for 30 minutes. If the prescription isn't ready, tell the customer to come back another time! Also I called ahead to check on my prescription before making the long wait, and they literally put me on hold 6x! Walgreens Pharmacy staffs has no customer service. They work slowly at their own pace. There was only two people in line including myself. The technician helped the customer before me. The customer went to his car to get this ID/payment while she went in the back to retrieve his prescription. He came back in line and she was still searching. I was there the whole time. No service was provided to me. She finally called him up to gave him his medication. I was next. She asked for verification from me, told me only one medication was ready which was ordered 5 days ago. She just said you have to wait 20-30 minutes. I told her I was there for today's order which should have been ready 3 hours ago. She ignored me and took a called. She finished the called and asked me what is my question. I said what do you mean what is my questions. I told you it should be ready 3 hours ago. The pharmacist handed her my prescription. I said to her you practically ignored me. I stated how she served the previous customer and how she service me and answering the phone. Completely rude. No apology what's so whatever. By this time the there was 4 people in the pickup line. This will be my last time picking up this location. They don't care about you waiting for your medication to be filled. They don't prioritize. They only work base on the que no sense of urgency. The pharmacists look busy with many people waiting in line inside and outside for medications. I usually get my prescriptions from Safeway but for Urgent Care I have to come here. If they say it will be a 40 minute wait be sure to have them call you rather than waiting there. They told me 40 minutes one time and I had to suffer that one night and have someone go in the morning to pick up my medicine. If you hire teenagers who look like they don't care if they help anyone or not than you get terrible customer service. I try to find someone more mature at the register or I don't shop here at all. Only thing good is that they have more selection in medications than CVS. read more

I received my first COVID19 vaccine here. The pharmacist Neil appearance and mood scared me. Neil act as if he doesn't want to be there. Although he was wearing a face shield, he was not wearing a mask to cover nose and mouth. His lab coat was filthy. His appearance to me was perceived as unsanitary. Urgh. I am so frustrated with this place this week. I feel like part of it is they are understaffed, but they definitely need to help people more. I have 2 kids (almost 3 and 19 months). On Monday (New Years Day) I took my 19 month old to Urgent care because he's been sick. He was prescribed 2 prescriptions. We got out of urgent care around 4 PM and I immediately called Walgreens to make sure they got the prescription and that they had my insurance information (I usually get my prescriptions filled at CVS but they were closed). They told me that the prescriptions were put on hold because they did need updated insurance information and that I could only do that by logging on and registering online or walking into the store. So I took my baby and I went into the store and gave them the insurance information at 4:30 PM. I was told that the prescription would be ready after 6 PM. So I took my baby home. Got them ready for dinner in bed. And headed back to the pharmacy at 8:00 PM. After waiting in a very long line for the drive-thru... I arrived at the window at 8:40 PM. I was told that one of his prescriptions was ready but the other one would be 1 & 1/2 hours more . I told them I came in at 4:30 and I was told they were going to be ready at 6 PM and he is sick and needs his medicine. The lady working, the counter was understanding and rushed the other prescription. But then I had to wait for the pharmacist which took another 20 minutes to go over it with me. Even though urgent care already did... OK I get it....I let it go. It was New Year's Day. They were busy. They were 10 people deep inside the store and outside the store. Now, two days later.... I had to take my almost 3-year-old to Sutter walk-in clinic because she has a double ear infection. She was prescribed antibiotic and because CVS closed at 7 PM. I had to have it sent to Walgreens again. I left the Sutter Walk-in Clinic at 6:45 PM. I immediately called Walgreens and made sure that they knew that the same insurance applied to her as it did to my son. They said that it did and they told me that it would be ready after 8 PM. She was crying and very uncomfortable so I asked if it could be done sooner and he told me 7:30 PM. I go and get in the drive-through line because now I have two sick kids in the truck with me and I'm by myself. There's six cars in the drive-through line. I wait from 7:30 PM until 8:39 PM in the drive-through line. I get up to the window and I am told that the prescription is not ready. It will be another half an hour. I told her (same woman) that again I had already called and been promised 7:30 PM and it's already an hour after that and she said I'm sorry it'll still going to be a half an hour. She was not willing to help me this time. So I drove around the building and got back in the line. It took me 50 minutes to get back to the window. They still had not filled it yet. But this time there was a new one lady at the window and she went and had it filled. I did not get out of the window until 9:45 PM. Got my babies home at 10 PM to put them to bed. To say that I am frustrated with that place is an understatement. And I will do everything in my power to never have to use them again. I think it's a mixture of being understaffed and not caring. Or just saying whatever to get people out or off the phone. I realize they probably have a ton of prescriptions that they're filling but most pharmacies I've dealt with in the last 25 years put urgent care and hospital prescriptions at the front of the line, cause obviously those people are very sick and coming from the hospital or clinic to pick up their meds... especially after regular business hours. read more

Whilst trying to sort out a passport photo for the UK I got a photo taken here which was not accepted. The passport office sent me a link to take a photo. I came in here and whilst using the white screen to take a photo a female assistant named Maurice came and said excuse me and removed the white screen and walked off. Without explanation or discussion. We waited in line and spoke to Kurtis who was very helpful and understanding and allowed us to use the white screen. Maurice needs to be retrained in customer service. Rude and unnecessary jobs worth. I don't care what the policy may be it's a white screen be helpful and I will return to your store. This review is only for the photo department. I am only giving it one star because it is open 24 hours and you cannot really find that anywhere else. However, the quality of the photos are always terrible. Even high resolution quality PNG files come out pixelated or distorted. Every time I have ordered photos here, my order gets messed up somehow. This last time I visited my order was misplaced and it took forever for the girl to find it. Another girl came and found it. She said she put the order aside because the quality was bad. I took the pictures there because I needed them right away. It took FOREVER, and I was getting frustrated. After I paid and walked away, I look back to see and hear the two photo employees talking crap. Very professional, ladies. Later, I got the same photos printed at the same size at Costco and the quality was much better. The only good thing about this photo center is that it is open 24 hrs. This is the only 24 hour pharmacy around here, which is why I chose to use it when we moved back here 10yrs ago. It was fine for about 5 years and then all the sudden every single time I went to pick up a prescription, something was wrong. Usually, it wasn't ready. For a long time, they kept telling us it was our insurance they were waiting on. We definitely have had some incidents with our insurance, but that's a whole other problem. More recently I had a prescription for my cat filled at this pharmacy. When I went to get it, they told me they were still waiting on my insurance. I literally laughed out loud and said: "now I really know what the problem with your pharmacy is.... it's the staff. This is a medication for my cat. 1.) I don't have pet insurance and if I did, it would be up to me to get reimbursed after paying out of pocket. 2.)the only insurance you have on file is my regular insurance that you can't bill; for my cat. after a couple minutes they told me: it'll be ready in 30 minutes. I called it in 3 days ago!!!! This was my last straw, so we switched to Rite Aid. It was kinda a pain to switch, because we had refills at the other pharmacy- but once it was done, it was totally worth it!!! We haven't had a single problem at Riteaid and the pharmacy staff is always nice and goes above and beyond. Unfortunately, I still had two refills on my cats controlled substance medication- which means the prescription can't be transferred (or so says Walgreens) I called it in 3 days before I would be down to one last day of dosages. It was to be ready the following day. But I waited until the third day to pick it up. I pull up to the drive through window and she says: oh it's not ready yet... can you come back in 30 min? .... I told her: no, it was supposed to be ready two days ago. This is unacceptable! .... she apologized and said I would get a call when it's ready. I wasn't having it, and told her I would wait until it's ready, I wasn't leaving the drive through without my prescription. She said I couldn't do that, it's a drove through and there are cars waiting behind me. I told her: well, this isn't a problem I created. The medicine can't be missed and asked if they were going to pay the vet bill when my kitty began having seizures without his meds. ... she apologized and left the window and then came back 10 min later and asked "do you want to come inside and wait?" .... I legit laughed. No ma'am I do not want to come inside. That's why I'm in the drive through line. She told me it was going to be about 15 more min because they are very backed up. I shrugged my shoulders and said "no problem. I'll wait" and rolled up my window. She finally got the message and was back at the window with my prescription in less than 5 minutes. I usually don't make a fuss but it's been years of mistake after mistake with them. They blame insurance when its really their fault and they come up with other crazy lies when they can't blame the insurance! It's beyond ridiculous the amount of problems I've had with this place. Can't wait to pick up my last refill of my kitties medicine and be done with that place! read more

Really?, because with one simple phone call, the problem was resolved at the Walgreens up the street. I have never been so frustrated with a pharmacy in my life. Don't ever go here! I had previous history of medications from this pharmacy! I felt like I was violated without my permission as far as my privacy is concern. They have no customer service and are passive aggressive judging base on meds that you took and the meds prescribed to you. I recently just had all 4 of my wisdom tooth pulled out. I went in to turn my prescription and informed the lady I needed it before the anesthesia wears off per docs order. She stated that it is a Controlled substance And would need Time to get it ready. I came in at 10 and she wasn't giving me a specific time. I asked her if she can prioritize as I have a low tolerance In pain. She then said in 45 mins that the meds would be ready. I came back only to find out that they canceled norco and per pharmacy it was because of my dentist decision. I was quite baffled how my dentist decided that it was his decision to cancel the norco when he was the one that prescribed it. The pharmacy played it out like they didn't know what happened. When I called my dentist, they informed me that the pharmacy was the one that called and informed to cancel and that was what the dentist did. The medication that I take for anxiety "as needed" that has benzo in it and that norco does as well, which made them decide that it's habit forming and potential overdose might occur. This was never informed to me and I came back only to find out I can not have at least a week supply of the pill in order for me to get through this recovery comfortably. However, this pharmacy made it an issue and I felt like they maliciously called my dentist to imply with a delivery that sounded as if I was seeking for it! First of, try getting all 4 of your wisdom teeth pulled out and tell someone to just pop ibuprofen which has a high chance to thin out your blood and that was also what I stated. They can quickly throw a patient under the bus, but doesn't have the compassion to know what they are going through. This pharmacist name is Hiep! Education does not create success and you are ugly! The audacity to call my dentist and not call me about the issue so I would At least know what's going on in order to expedite or resolve a problem. I was in pain and he didn't care. They had me digging in like a detective to figure out how my dentist decided to cancel on a prescription. No professionalism! No customer service etiquette! No empathy or sympathy towards patients! He doesn't belong in this job! Anyone who are vulnerable and hurting doesn't deserve to be treated this way. I wasted my time with them instead of getting home to recover. I am so upset that this can not resolve the treatment this drug store provided me. I despise them and if I can only take this to a higher ups I would. I definitely don't want the same thing to happen to anyone and that is why I need y'all to be aware. I felt like my privacy was violated! They never notified me to let me know this is what they were concerned about and therefore they would have to call my doctor. Instead they called my doctor and denied me my couple days of supply of norco because of WHAT AGAIN? Screw you Hiep! And because of you since you're an ASSHOLE, you get no star! I'd would have given this store 4 stars based on the their service and convenient 24 hour service. However, there are a few problems with their store and I'm deducting stars for these flaws: -1 star: Incredibly long lines. If the store gets busy at the same time every day, how about increasing your staff during those hours? And it always takes forever for them to open another register. Ugh! -1 star: I don't want to be upsold to your overpriced candy bars. In fact, I find this practice insulting. It tells me that Walgreen's isn't satisfied that I've chosen to shop here... that my purchase isn't enough for them... they want more from me. Horrible customer service!!! When I went up to the cashier to pay for my stuff, first of all the cashier name Shania didn't say anything....I mean no hi or hello but that's ok.... secondly she charged me twice for a bottle of medicine. I told her that she charged me twice...she looked at me and after giving me a nasty attitude, she refunded the amount and said, " Is that better now?" Instead of apologising, she said this to me. I was shocked because I have never seen this kind of customer service before anywhere else. I swiped my card to pay, she looked at me and rolled her eyes and said, " Insert your chip card"......umm my card doesn't have the chip on it and that's why I swiped it. My sister was behind me and purchased a greeting card, after ringing her, the mean cashier didn't even hand her the card or bag it, she just went on to help the next customer. Multiple times. Repeat, multiple times the following has occurred at this pharmacy. What is the point of ordering in advance if they are not going to have the prescription ready? They've gotten by me a couple of times with this kind of crap but not this time. 1. Don't insult my intelligence and act like there is only one prescription and yay it's ready when you know damn well looking at the screen there were three that were ordered. Also don't start stammering excuses when you get called out on it. 2. Don't tell me that I'll have to sit and wait in the driveway for half an hour because your pharmacist is preparing others for the people in the lobby. They walked in, I ordered 3 hours in advance. Get it DONE! Now mind you, I was picking up the prescription an hour late to give them a time cushion for this reason. *the last couple of times they did this it was ordered over 10 hours in advance.* I can't believe I switched back to this company from Rite Aid. Time to go back. The loss of my business won't make the tiniest of dents in this mega pharmacy but at least you'll know what to expect if you have a long-term prescription.
