I absolutely hate this Walgreens!!!! The pharmacy is horrible!!! I come here for my mom and the lack of service she receives disgusts me. The wait is always very long. About 3 weeks ago, I brought my mom and I usually drop her in front and go park the car. She stood in line to drop off (she uses a cane to walk) and when I returned after 20 minutes, she was still standing waiting to drop off. Once her order was placed, they told her pickup in 45 minutes. She sat right in front of the cashier and waited. I returned in 45 minutes and she was still waiting. She got up after 60 minutes to inquire about her prescription and was rudely told that they called her name 30 minutes ago. My mom has great hearing and sitting right in front of cashier, she would have heard her name. The guy said well sorry nothing we can do now stand in the pickup line for your order. The mofo made my mom go stand in the pickup line another 20 minutes... who does that!?!?!? I was furious!!!!!! I told my mom to look for another pharmacy. Today, I told my mom we are using the drive thru because I prefer sitting in the comfort of my car if we have to wait 1.5 hours. Well I push the call button and waited 15 minutes, nothing. I push it again and was told to hold on. Okay!? Finally the dude comes to the window and I tell him we are picking up 2 prescriptions that were ordered over a week ago. He said one was approved and they're waiting for approval on the other. Did you follow up with the insurance company????? No! But said he will Monday WTF who does that!??! I've gone to CVS in Irvine for 10 years and never had an issue. They're always following up with me and reaching out to my insurance company anytime an issue arise. My mom was happy to hear my positive experiences and now we're looking for a CVS in sun city area. Well I said all that to say this... stay clear from this Walgreens!!!! Go to CVS!!! read more

Was not happy about this branch. Our MD accidentally sent our prescription to this pharmacy and aside from not being able to complete our prescription fully there was a pharmacist during the night that was rude. He gave me a hard time trying to get my husbands prescription asking for his physical ID and states its a CA law. He did not give it to me no matter what despite driving far. When I came back the next day to get it again this time with his ID, not a single soul there even asked me for an ID. This is a very bad inconsistency and you guys should realize that this will cause you trouble someday. read more

This review is for the pharmacy at Walgreen's. What a joke. The manager of this pharmacy needs to take a good look at their standards for customer service because right now they are terrible. Waiting over an hour for a simple antibiotic prescription borders on ciminal. The staff here looks over worked, under trained and stressed from a lack of operating procedures. It is fairly obvious they could care less or have no clue when you look at their Yelp page full of one star reviews. Do they even know they suck? Most likely not. In my opinion that is sad. This review is for my last interaction with this location. I'm hopeful the previous staff is in re-training as they were burnt out and unkind. I have been a client/patient at this location (Bradley rd Menifee, CA 92585) for many years. To be completely honest with you I was getting ready to transfer all of my family's prescriptions elsewhere when my husband was in an accident and underwent emergency back surgery. Previous interactions at this location were hit and miss however, I always felt like I was bothering them when I visited to obtain my medications. This time I was running on very little sleep, my son had a previously planned surgery a day prior to my husbands and I was overwhelmed. I entered the pharmacy about one hour before closing on a Saturday and my husband had been discharged late in the day. It was 1/8/2022, my husband was at home in severe pain. To my absolute horror the hospitalist neglected to fulfill her commitment in sending the medication to the pharmacy. I called the Doctor's office on call number, the hospital nurse that had helped with his discharge and worked with a new to me employee at Walgreens. Nigel, Antonio, Justin and Curtis went above and beyond to help this exhausted wife and mother. They reassured me that they would do everything they could to help me. The prescription finally came across at 5:59 PM. They could have told me they were closed, the old staff did this often. They could have left me to return to my husband but they didn't. They stayed, filled the medication, explained the procedures to administer it and above all else treated me with such compassion. I will keep all hundreds of dollars of prescriptions at this location. I will post reviews on YELP, GOOGLE and send emails to corporate to ensure they receive the recognition they deserve. Worst pharmacy service I have ever experienced. EVERY DAY between 4-7 the pharmacy explodes in activity. The commuters are getting home, the weather has cooled so the elderly are out. Pharmacy Danger!!! Please read this review. 3 years ago they accidentally gave my daughter the wrong prescription, thankfully I caught it before giving it to her. Last night, the same thing happened again for an antibiotic for my son but we didn't catch it. The doctor prescribed Flagyl and they gave us a generic form of Bactrim, a totally different family of antibiotic. Why a problem? My son is horribly sick now from having taken it! I pray my boy will be OK. Bactrim is an incredibly strong and opposite antibiotic. Please do not use this pharmacy!!!! read more

Grrrr!!! (Pharmacy) Fill time - I was told my rx would be ready the next morning around 11 I called the next afternoon around 4:30 Was told it would be ready at in a hr. I showed up 2.5 later and still had to wait 25 mins. Customer service - Hold time was 10+ mins. Then another 5 min hold to check rx status all to find no progression on rx. And when I asked questions I got the smood and sarcastic attitude from Mye. Mye and the most of the staff are incompetent and rude. One person says one thing, another person will say another and it ends up being neither. I will not use this pharmacy again. read more

We dropped by to grab some OJ to go with breakfast. The prices are a bit high, but if you have a rewards card, it's not so bad. $5 off! The place was clean and organized. They have nice photo albums and Christmas merchandise. I come here to print my pictures. Going to be coming here soon to print my pics for this year's scrapbook! The cashier lady was really nice. My wife got cold/ flu and coughing a week, she visited urgent care on Nov. 29, 2022 and Dr. send her prescription to this Walgreens same day, we stopped by for her medicine and pharmacist told us they had to order and may be ready for next day. Next day we came the med. we're not in yet, and it was dragged on until yesterday they told us they didn't have the med. and suggested us to check with other pharmacy so they could transfer her prescription to. We checked with Rite Aid next door and pharmacíst confirmed they had her medication and they can fill within 24hrs, today we come to Rite Aid and pharmacist said they called Walgreens to get prescription transfer but they couldn't get through. We had to ask Walgreens pharmacist to transfer her prescription to Rite Aid right away, within haft hours we got her medication. Walgreens is very bad at communicating and customer service. Never go back to this location again. read more

Visited this Walgreens on 5-11 around 12pm because I needed medicine for my wife who is sick. For some reason (apparently due to high theft) the Advil Cold and sinus medicine was behind the counter. I approached the pharmacy counter and was basically ignored for a minute. (The pharmacists were glued to their video screens- ok they are busy) I asked finally if i could just get some Advil cold and sinus and the female stated that the cashier would be with me shortly. OK...... I stood there waiting for about 7-10 minutes listening to the cashier gab with a customer/friend at the pharmacy pickup window about their families, weather, kids etc etc, and then finally I said "hey can someone please just get me the OTC Advil." The robotic pharmacists still did not even look at me but the cashier without responding stopped the conversation with their customer/friend and finished the transaction. She then turned to me without apologizing at all, and said " I was Multitasking!" Huh, it appeared more like just endless talking but said just give me the Advil cold and sinus. She did and ask for my ID and rang the transaction. She did not apologize, thank me, or anything at all- just handed me the receipt. --- probably the worst customer experience at any drug store in years. i absolutely hate this pharmacy. I dropped off a prescription for my mom, gave them my id to drop it off. i waited a week an a half after 1. getting a text saying the prescription was ready, went to pick it up being told it was being held up due to an auth needed by her doc for her insurance to approve 2. Stopped by to check on the status, it was determined that the prescription had been put under my name, this was then put under my mom's name 3. received a text that it was ready, was not given her prescription because her dl's are expired! hello! she's 99 years old! you better hope she's not driving! i had her insurance card! i had to take the prescription to cvs!!! the time before that, i took a prescription for the same meds on a sunday and was told they could not fill it until tuesday (monday was a holiday) because they needed to confirm that her doctor wrote the prescription! i then told her my mom needed her pain meds and she said well this was written 3 days ago she must not need them that badly. wtf!? no comment about her id this timei never get this crap from any other pharmacy. they treat me as if i'm trying to scam on pain meds!!!! what happened to making sure the patient is taken care of? read more

I have never been to a WORSE pharmacy in my life! My son gets the same prescription every month, yet this pharmacy cannot seem to keep enough of it on hand. Then they presume to dictate to his DOCTOR whether he needs this medication or not. I totally understand the caution used for certain medications, but in my opinion this pharmacy oversteps its bounds in a BARELY LEGAL way, delaying and making people jump through hoops to get much needed relief from approved prescribed medication! No stars are warranted here. The worst service in the RX department. On their mobile site you can actually book an appointment to get your flu shot but that is actually not true. Went in for the appointment and was told 6 times that the pharmacist was coming. When I arrived there was not a single customer there. After waiting 35 minutes beyond the appointment time while they served droves of customers, I said "hey, what's up". The female pharmacist just got snotty and said she was too busy. Oh, by the way they'll tell you they have nothing to do with their mobile app or their own web site, just ask them. Rude, lazy and incompetent. I've had a regular prescription, filled by my doctor as three 90-day refills (a year's worth). I've had this prescription for a while, and they are pills that I need. However, Walgreens has ALWAYS filled it as 30-day prescriptions, so after the third visit - four months into the year - I get told that I don't have any prescriptions and that I have to contact my doctor. As with any drugstore in this area, service can be slow but is friendly. There is nothing about a Walgreens that would keep me loyal to them over a CVS or Rite Aid. With exception to sales prices which vary between drugstores, they are all pretty much created equal. From California to Florida, I have yet to see one that makes me thing one is better than the other, and I give three stars to reflect that. Only poor service would keep me away from a specific location but I have never had a bad experience at a drugstore that I can recall. There is a Rite Aid right behind this location and I frequent both just depending upon which is more convenient for me at the time. This location is on a busy corner so getting in/out can be a challenge at times. read more

Horrible Pharmacy!!! Technicians are completely rude and don't know what they are doing. You ask a simple question and each person will give you a different answer. They tell you come back in 20 minutes to pick up your prescription then when you show up they tell you we had to send to Dr it isn't covered by your insurance. Why would you not check that before taking the prescription and telling you it will be ready shortly. They don't call you to let you know they had to fax your Dr for another prescription. No simple phone call to let you know that your prescription will not be ready they just have you wait and then tell you. No sorry just oh well your problem not mine. You call the pharmacy and they leave you on hold or take forever to answer and then they disconnect you! Completely unhappy with the service. This is my third horrible experience. I have been to this Walgreens for about a year and there's always an issue when I get my prescriptions. I have been trying to get my medication for about 2WEEKS!! SERIOUSLY this is so ridiculous I have refills on file for them and there shouldn't be a problem. So when I call to see what the hold up is I'm always told a different story. I asked to speak to the store manager "JULIE" to see if there's anything she can do on her end and she was extremely RUDE! She gave me the same B.S. I'm so disappointed with their customer service. If they don't want to work then they should just stay at home or find another job. Stop treating customers like we are nothing! Please AVOID this store/pharmacy!! Worst first customer service experience ever with any pharmacy. Complete lack of care for the customer.

The pharmacy in this store is not very friendly at all. They tell you things that are not true. I need meds for my child and have always used my ID, well they get someone that doesn't know what he is doing and demands the child's ID. Then I come back with the student ID and someone else tells me I don't need it. I tried to fill my prescription and when I try to pick it up they tell me its a day too soon. I wait a day come back and they state they don't have it. Have to wait a week. I get it 2 weeks later. The following month they state I'm two weeks early??? I am because they were 2 weeks late last month. I had to go to ER to get other medication to keep me out of pain. I have cancer and I tell them I need my medication but they don't care. I complaint to their corp office and they have the pharmacy call me and apologist I the n go back and same thing happens again. Other Walgreens near by are not like this one at all. Now they are building a CVS down the street maybe they will close this Walgreens down, at least the pharmacy. The staff is very un professional.
