Original wings bucket, waffle, and waffle fries

Been meaning to come since they first opened and finally had the chance to come try! We got the original chicken wings bucket, the waffle fries, a waffle, and a drink. The chicken wings are delicious they use dark meat which is moist and has a thin lightly fried layer. The waffle fries are also crispy and tasty. The waffle is on the thicker end but still love the sugar they add in it which gives a good sweetness to go with your savory chicken. I don't feel overly greasy or full even after eating all of it! My only recommendation would be to add a thin paper on the trays as it does tend to be a little messy, but that's just preference! But everything was super tasty, and I am definitely going to come back and get more chicken for my fried chicken cravings!

When we were passing through Walnut, we needed a place for a quick lunch and stopped here. My husband remembered that Wallace was Instagram-famous at some point so that was the primary selling point. They have a 3 for $10 deal where you can buy 3 original chicken sandwiches for $10. This is a notch cheaper than Popeyes or KFC and a good amount cheaper than Chik Fil A. We ordered 3 to dine-in as well as a bucket of original chicken wings, and several orders of fries. For fast food, the food wasn't particularly fast, which I mean as a compliment. It took about 5-10 minutes for everything to be freshly prepared, and to their credit, the chicken wings came out scorching hot from the fryer. Honestly, everything was good. The chicken sandwiches are made with chicken thighs (moisture!), had mayo and pickles on a bun. The fries had that fast food breading and were tasty. The wings had a crisp breading and were all perfectly fried. The only thing we didn't know to try are their chicken nuggets and their famous Wa Sauce, which costs $.39/container. We liked their sandwiches and their value enough to order another 3 for the road. They are now sitting in our fridge for when we get the munchies. If a Wallace existed closer to home, we would certainly visit often.

The best chicken spot in the area, and it's located right next to a gym- perfect pre/post workout meal! Wallace is located in a busy shopping center and sometimes it's hard to find a parking space but it is definitely worth it. The menu is really straightforward, lots of nice options for sides, all yummy, but my favorites are the green beans!! Staff is always super friendly, they answer any questions you may have and are quick with taking orders. At times it's a bit of a wait to receive your food but to receive fresh foods is better than lamp heated chicken. They have plenty of seating inside although I've noticed most folks take it to go. I recommend trying next time you're in the area & you're craving fried chicken!

It's been an over a year since they opened and they still offer one of the best deals in town with their 3 chicken sandwiches for $10! These are great chicken sandwiches. Made to order so you have to wait a little bit, but it's not long and it's worth it. Chicken is crispy, moist, and flavorful. They use buns that are super soft and taste good. I'm not a pickle fan, but they use bread & butter pickles in their sandwiches and it truly adds to the flavor. Also got their chicken wings this time. Good size wings, crispy, and spicy! They definitely truly have a kick. So glad they're in my neighborhood. Staff is always friendly and courteous.

Hands down one of the best bang for your buck, and good quality chicken places. I've been to Wallace many times, and it is definitely the hype. The service here is friendly, and the place is always clean. My favorite items here are the grilled chicken items since I like to eat a bit healthier compared to fried foods.

We were visiting my cousin, and she recommended this place for lunch, especially for the kids. We came and ordered food to-go: Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, Tempura Chicken Nuggets, Spicy Wing Bucket, and Fry Bucket. I really enjoyed the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Good flavor and seasoning, chicken patty was a good size, and was very moist and juicy. Everyone enjoyed the food; no complaints from the kids. I just would have preferred the fries to be crispier.

They sell Dark meat and it's soooo goood. My bf and I tried it after the gym and we were definitely satisfied, With the flavor and price. It's very clean inside and plenty of seating. We ordered the chicken rice bowl and the grilled chicken sandwich. And the Caribbean sauce, mustard and Nashville ? I believe. All were delicious but I think Nashville was my favorite. I also like how they offer protein milkshakes. (They're located next door to the gym) Customer service is decent. Nice, young, quiet people making the food and running the register. Found this place through social media and made a trek all the way from San Diego. They specialize in chicken so their chicken was definitely delicious! We went specifically for the chicken nuggets. In my opinion it was pretty good deal for 45 pieces for $19! You get a whole bucket of chicken nuggets! They were piping hot when they came out. We also ordered their 3 for $10 chicken sandwiches which is also another steal! The chicken patties were huge. I didn't get to try it but if the nuggets were a hit then I can only imagine the juicy chicken patties. I wonder if they have any spicy options I don't think I saw that on the menu. They have your usual condiment sauces that come with the nuggets or also different sauces available for purchase. Upon leaving I noticed they also had a station that had pepperoncinis too! How cool. Their kitchen is open and you can see through the glass them making your meal. If it weren't so far away I'd probably make a visit every other week.

This was my first time here at this location. Ordered: 15 pieces of Spicy Wing Bucket - with BBQ and Honey Mustard dipping sauce. 12 pieces of Tempura Chicken Nuggets My friend ordered bucket of Tempura Chicken Nuggets, fries and drink. Unironically, actually my favorite fried chicken place ever. They had an opening deal for 3 sandwiches for $10 - and each of the sandwiches were full sized chicken sandwiches, the types that usually cost over $10 just for each one. So the quantity is amazing. Food comes out fairly fast, but that should be expected with a limited menu (ie, they're just cranking these bad boys out on an assembly line like the 626 does with guys with tapered fadecuts and gross sneakers). Anyways, the big thing about this place is that they primarily use juicy, moist dark meat for their chicken. You can tell, because sometimes you see angry reviews on the internet about people genuinely confused and distraught that their chicken has a "weird texture", because they've been used to eating dry white meat chicken their entire life (many such cases in America). This one special trick - normies hate it! - pretty much ensures that Wallace Chicken gets to clown on basically almost all domestic fried chicken sandwich places. Not to mention that the vegetables come out nice in the sandwich (nothing too soggy) and the sauce is creamy but not overly decadent (I'm looking at you Raisin Canes). I haven't tried the fries but that's because the chicken sandwich deal is too good. Anyways, this place comes highly recommended as perhaps my favorite chicken sandwich place yet. Parking is easy and the place is nice and well-lit, with a nice soda fountain machine too. The way fast food ought to be (but often isn't anymore).

Saw this place on IG, and wanted to try it. The food was made fresh, and the service was fast. I had just finished working out and I noticed this place. I checked it out and it was so good. The chicken was like nothing I've had before it was so soft and fresh. I had the chicken wrap, heads up it is very saucy. The fries were crisp, very crunchy. Tasty food and amazing prices! I really enjoy their chicken nuggets, and you can't go wrong with waffle fries. On a side note, I really enjoy their minimalist/modern aesthetic. I would give up my children for a chicken sandwhich combo from Wallace Chicken. All jokes aside, the food at wallace chicken exceeds my expectations. But most importantly you have to load up on that WaSauce you feel me. No meal is complete without that WaSauce. Now don't even get me started on the service. I had just finished my workout at 24 hour fitness and I was walking the plaza for some good eats. That's when I walked past the doors of Wallace chicken and immediately was engulfed by the beautiful spices and aromas of Wallace Chicken. Instantly I was greeted from afar by Kevin. His service was excellent, I came in having no knowledge of what I wanted to eat and Kevin implanted the idea of the chicken sandwich just as God had revealed himself to Moses. Kevin painted the picture of the chicken sandwich in my head so beautifully and when it came out I was not disappointed. I have yet to see a good chicken spot in this area however it was until I tried this place! The chicken was absolutely tasty and flavorful with each bite just having an immense amount of taste. When I walked in I was greeted by a man named Kevin. He was an extremely warm and welcoming person. Walked into the store and was instantly greeted by this man Kevin. OMG! I love the fries so much! I usually eat fries with ketchup. But with Wallace's fries, you don't need anything else. It's so crispy and perfectly seasoned. The sandwich was so good too! It was not too salty like Chick Fil A. I could taste the chicken much better without overpowering salt seasoning. And you can't beat the price! The combo was only $10! We will definitely come often. I am going back there taking my kids and can't wait to introduce them the best chicken sandwich. read more

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel right at home. My family and I ordered the #2 and #3 combos with a side of chicken nuggets. The fries were bursting with flavor, and the chicken nuggets, coated in a light tempura batter, had the perfect crispy exterior and tender, juicy interior (we definitely went for a second round of nuggets). As for the sandwiches, the grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and had a great flavor. However, the fried chicken didn't have quite the same depth of flavor as the grilled. I especially liked the swivel chairs and bar stools, and the remodeled space looks great--it's a nice improvement from the old XLB Dumpling House. We were excited about the $3 for $10 chicken sandwich deal. The chicken was fresh and made with thigh meat, which I typically love. It was incredibly crunchy, and the sweet pickle slice was a nice touch. However, the thigh meat was very stringy when biting into it, which made the texture less enjoyable. While I love thigh meat in general, I think it might not be the best cut for a chicken sandwich unless the stringiness of the meat fiber can be addressed. My husband rated the chicken itself a seven and a half. One major area for improvement is the buns. My husband felt they were low quality, comparing them to a cheap fifty-pack, which took away from the overall sandwich experience. The seasoning on the chicken was also underwhelming--there's definitely room for bolder flavors. Condiments were another letdown. They only had pump ketchup, and though Wallace special sauce was listed for $0.39, it was unavailable during our visit. There were no other sauce options like ranch, mayo, barbecue, or honey mustard, which are essentials for a chicken spot. There were also no spicy chicken options--something like a ghost pepper sandwich would be fantastic! Adding a chicken tender option to the menu could also attract more customers. The fries were okay, but we only tried the regular ones since the cashier mentioned the waffle fries might be too crunchy. Overall, we rated the restaurant a seven and a half.
