    Apple Pie Waffle

Went here on a recommendation from my sister! And already can't wait to return to try some different waffles. I ended up getting the apple pie waffle while my other sister got the honey butter waffle. Both were wonderful, the only thing is if you get the apple pie waffle and like crispy waffles this isn't the one to get while wonderful the filling softens the waffle. The service was nice, we didn't need a lot of attention but they were attentive to every guest that I saw them with. The restaurant was super clean and we got lucky that there weren't a ton of people there. Long review short. The place was delicious and I've already told a friend who's visiting that that's where we'll go when he's in town.

As soon as I walked in the customers were friendly. We sat down and the hostess was very nice. We went there later in the afternoon so that may be the reason for the floor not being clean. There was food scattered under the tables. The utensils may not been rinsed well since it looked like it had a film on it. The coffee cups unfortunately did not look any better. The Belgian waffles were crisp and I personally like that. It was nothing out of this world. I'm grateful for the people who work there and I hope they work on turning things around.

How can you not check out a place called Wally Waffle. Has a friendly dinner feel, staff is attractive and lots of seating including outside if you would like. Light and airy waffle with strawberries, I wish they would of had an option for the strawberries not in the sauce, I was not a fan. I know plenty of people do love the stuff though. Will stop by again in the future.

Perfectly cooked waffles. Good service and fair prices. The chicken from the chicken and waffles was delicious also.

Ok, it's a chain with really long lines on the weekend but despite my reticence, i found myself enamored. The menu offers extensive options for breakfast, with more types of waffles than I knew existed, equally diverse offerings in the pancake realm and omelet options too. There's a limited lunch menu but breakfast is offered all day. Mom opted for a standard waffle with butter and maple syrup. They don't skimp on the syrup with a large container of her dreams on the table. I opted for a weekly special, a cinnamon roll waffle. Have to admit I was scared, thinking this would be sugar overload but they struck an appropriate balance and the waffle was stellar with undertones of vanilla, bits of crispyness and a light and airy touch. The cinnamon and icing were fresh and good. Forgot to mention I ordered a side of bacon for $2. It came not with 2, not with 3 but with 5 slices of bacon. Now that's value.

Eat here for wonderful waffles! Not into waffles? Still plenty of yummy looking items on the menu! Was able to be seated right away. The staff was working hard. Our server was very attentive & kept our coffee refilled. The waffle sandwich was a unique creation; tasty & delicious! Fluffy & was able to hold up well with the mini omelette in the middle. Highly recommend their hash browns to--known as Wally Fries. Yum! Will be back, like tomorrow!

Wally Waffle is definitely a go to place when your looking for waffles for breakfast. The waffles are cooked well and the different types of waffles they offer is great. The food is fresh, and the service is good. We tried the Apple Pie and the Patriot waffles. We did take out, do the waffles had a bit less of a crunch on them, but they still tasted really good when we got them home. There was definitely a line to eat in the restaurant, but it wasn't overwhelming. The waiting area is a bit small, but there are plenty of places to eat inside. I would get food from here again, and recommend to others as well.

It was brighter out there than in the main restaurant and made for nice seating. After perusing the menu, we went for the black n' bleu burger, the B.O.M.B. burger, the chipotle garden vegetable chili, and orders of fries and their jalapeño bottle caps. All were great! The mac and cheese on the BOMB burger was creamy and excellent, and my companions really enjoyed their burgers. The chili was awesome...I have been thinking about it since. The fries were fresh and hot (they needed salt, but good other than that), and the jalapeño bottle caps were the right amount of spice and came with a perfect cup of ranch for accompaniment. Their hot sauce is great too! Service was friendly and efficient as well. Burgers are a touch pricey considering they don't come with fries or anything and the place is cash only, but other than that no complaints. We will be back for sure. Thank you, Whitey's!

We've been here before and the food and service is always good, we just don't frequent here because it's cash only. The place is always packed so there was a bit of a wait. While we waited we got a couple of drinks at the bar. Nice seated we ordered the Coliseum Fries with the chili on the side because I'm not a fan of chili in general, I ordered the burger of the month, and my hubby ordered the Loo burger. The food was delicious. We're gonna try to come here more often it's just not in our normal picks.

The parking lot was full at 1:00; walked into this restaurant seated immediately with windows off to the side. I must make a note. It is Kentucky Derby Saturday. All female servers have dressed appropriately with fascinator's in their hair and hairdos to match the elegance of that event. Unfortunately, I've been seated down, in a section where I can't see the rest of whatever's going on, so I'll have to wait to do this before I leave My server Katie D must REALLY love this place because I asked her for her favorite or what some suggestions might be --she gave me at least 14 things to pick from. I settled for the I think 12 ounce double pork chop which came with roasted brussels sprouts done to perfection and riced cauliflower---a very diabetic, healthy meal. when it arrived it was cold and you just don't eat brussels sprouts cold. And very cheerfully she took it back and was back in no time with a new plate of steaming hot food. I was seated on the windows side where I could see the parking lot and in the next hour and a half dozens and dozens of people came to dine at the establishment. There were people all dressed up for Derby day. There were men in suits and ties it was going to be an event I understand. I haven't had this great of a meal and this great of a time with a super great server and service and delectable food in three years and I've been a Yelp writer for longer than that. That should tell you something about this restaurant if it isn't a three or four or five star restaurant, a darn well should be. They don't need a holiday to dine in here and have great service great time and great food... Even if you're dining alone. Do not miss going to this one. I know I'm going back and I live the southeast side of Cleveland Ohio.

We have lived in the area for almost 3 yrs and spoke about this Restaurant a few times to visit,…read morefinally pulling the trigger on a chilly Sunday evening. Upon entering for our reserved time, we were taken to our booth, and left with menus. The first clue to our experience was no one asked if we would like our coats checked. Most 'upscale' places would have asked that immediately. I suppose folding our coats and laying them on the bench of the booth would have also triggered this conversation. Nope. An agreeable server greeted us, ask what type of water we preferred, and let us know where we could find their signature cocktails. As we scanned the menu, we noticed the prices were quite high, and assumed the quality would equal the costs. $26.00 for a Tuna Tartare, and $28.00 for the Steak Tartare seem a little above market. Also, they were asking for $4.50 per half shelled Oyster. Again, pretty high for this area. I usually order a half dozen, but I was a semi cautious, having been burned by local restaurants serving very small oysters. This was no different. I ordered 4 Blue Points, ( .99 cents in the grocery) and was shocked to see 2 normal ( again, for this area) and 2 very small oysters. Burned. We also ordered the Tuna Tartare, and again, it was just ok. Uneven chunks of tuna, atop a strange scoop of avocado( which we had to mash ourselves in order to gain a reasonable mouthful. We decided to have the Tableside Caesar Salad, that's always fun. Most places that have this service, will have a dedicated Maître de or Host create this for you~ we had our over worked waitress. It was 1 1/2 hours between being seated and a salad. On a Sunday. And a VERY over rushed waitress. It wasn't pleasant, and we felt bad for her. Needless to say, the dressing was rushed, therefore the proper amount of ingredients were not acceptable. There was a shocking amount of vinegar and Worcestershire, but how could you tell this poor girl you can barely choke it down? A pork Chop was ordered, and the evenings 'special' a New Filet Trio with a 1/2 lb ( just a leg) of steamed crab- deshelled $60 for the trio and $80 for the leg!!! This is where my lesson comes in- ALWAYS ASK MRK prices, at unfamiliar establishments. My bad. We also order off of there side menu, since we were all in by now. We ordered the gloopy mash potatoes, the polenta they had to take off the bill since it was inedible, and the 4 pieces of grilled asparagus that came smothered in parmesan cheese?? (why on earth are your smothering fresh asparagus in shaved cheese??) My poor husband was 3 Barrel aged Old Fashions in ($18.00 per) and I was 2 Paper Planes ( $16.00 per and was meh) by the time was had our waitress box the entire meal, to be tossed out at home. Because we were embarrassed! At one point, a 'hostess' came over and said " sorry to interrupt, but how was everything??" Listen, she could care less how our meal was, because she directly seated herself in the 'private' dining area next to us, with a full compliment of wine bottles behind her and 3 glass walls surrounding her, and began eating her own supper. Closed off to any irritant she may experience. What absolute gall. Thank God the cappuccino machine was broken, it saved us $10.00 for one cup! Meanwhile, don't they require a dress code at his establishment? I won't say more... After paying our $500.00 bill ( for 2 ppl) we unfolded our coats, and proceeded out, with the 'hostess' engaged in what seemed to be a very personal, almost depressive conversation with a patron, and never bothered to excuse herself to send us off with even a 'thanx' ~ Oh KSL- Lesson Learned. And yes, the overworked waitress received a $50.00 tip. She was lovely and my only hope is she finds a better establishment to work in.
