If you're in Beverly Hills, especially along North Canon Drive, you're surrounded by some truly incredible restaurants. I happened to be making an early morning delivery down the street at Allo and had always been curious about Wally's $39 lunch prix fixe menu. Honestly, it sounded almost too good to be true. I walked in right when they opened at 11:32 a.m. and grabbed a seat at the bar. My bartender and server, Shaline A., absolutely made my day. She was warm, welcoming, attentive, and provided genuine hospitality from start to finish. I started with the Caesar salad (with anchovies). Personally, I think a traditional Caesar should always have anchovies they're part of what makes it so special. For my entrée, I had the dorade fish], and it was beautifully prepared. Every bite reflected the quality and attention to detail that Wally's is known for. To finish, I enjoyed the cheese plate featuring a truffle cheese that day. Let me tell you... A+! It was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the service to the food and the overall experience, Wally's exceeded my expectations. The $39 prix fixe lunch is an incredible value for the quality you receive. I highly recommend stopping by, and I'll definitely be back.

We were looking for a place to grab desserts and a drink so we hopped on to Wally's The dessert is truly amazing and the apple shaped cheese cake is really blowing my mind and so delicious We are sitting outside but our server is really nice and hospitable The whole vibe is very chill and fun, so we had a great time there

Always a fan favorite. First time at the BH location and like any other sites always packed. Stopped for light lunch and ended up staying a bit and prob had a few more drinks than should have. Can't recall what we drank so will have to get back to you once I receive the info. Food I remember was better in the past but maybe it was our selection. The Purple and Blue salad was very rich in the color (love) made of roasted beets, blueberries, red cabbage and cucumber bites that was topped with blue cheese. Dressing was a rich balsamic and olive oil which I thought was on the heavy side so felt the salad was more in the soggy side. The Wally burger with fries was also good. Basic burger. Felt the bun was a little dry. Fries were delicious! Overall still one of my favs to hang out and host outings.

Fries, steak, fish, pasta were delicious. The presentation and decor, style inside is cozy, intimate, and feels transformative. The interior makes you immersed in the dining experience it has a special way of taking you away into a dreamy atmosphere. I can see a dinner group hanging out for hours at this place. Will come back just to be in this restaurant again. Even has a little shop inside. Service was a laidback but it's okay I was in no rush.

Place deserves a five for vibezz alone. You meet really cool people here always. I've had the mushroom pasta (yummy) and the baked bree (a fan favorite). I'll always come back to this place It's that cool neighborhood spot.

The charcuterie and cheese board is huge -- easily enough for two, and everything on it was worth eating. The wagyu salami was the standout for me. The wine list is enormous and the staff let you take your time with it instead of hovering. Service was attentive without being pushy, which I appreciated. One wish: a bigger selection of non-alcoholic wines. Other than that, I'll be back.

Came here for dinner with my girl friends and had such a great time! The lychee martini was delicious, the Caesar salad is one of my favorites in town, and the lobster was divine! The atmosphere was perfect for a girls' night, and the service was attentive throughout the evening. Such an enjoyable dinner and I'd definitely come back!

Dropped into Wally's for an impromptu late lunch on Sunday and found the place rockin'. Clearly, we were not the only ones with this idea, and with good reason: Wally's is an upscale and adult restaurant that's also casual and unpretentious. The staff is well-dressed, well-trained, and genuinely friendly; the host on duty, Bella, tended to us during our short wait, keeping us engaged and getting us seated just as soon as she could. The decor blends spartan industrial chic with dark wood accents that tempter what might be a cold environment, making it inviting and comfortable. Our server, Diego, got right to us, answered menu questions with good humor, and convinced the chef to make my wife a dinner-time dish when he discovered her first selection had run out. Bread service (on request) was artisan sourdough, hot from the oven, served with rich butter and a tiny mound of salt. Simple and very tasty. My wife's Cacio e Pepe was, by her estimation, the very best she's ever had. The al dente pasta was coated in a sharp Parmesan that was keenly offset by the sweetness of a Tomato Jam served on the side. A very well-balanced and satisfying bite. For my own part, the Quiche Lorraine was buttery and rich, and brimming with bacon and cheese. The lightly dressed salad alongside was a perfect foil, cutting the sharpness nicely. I must also mention that the folks next to us had a table full of yummy-looking, yummy-smelling food, from a cheese and charcuterie board to pizza, an omelet and beautifully prepared veggies. It would be easy to order everything on the menu across multiple visits -- and I'm already looking forward to my next time in.

Pinot Noir | Nathalie Richez, Maranges 2020 and Sauvignon Blanc | Sancerre, Ronsard 'La Pléiade' 2024

Came in for a charcuterie board and it did not disappoint. The Manchego was nutty and firm, the Prairie Breeze Cheddar a little sweet with that crunch and the "5J" Lomo Ibérico de Bellota easily the best thing on the plate. Drank the Sancerre, Ronsard 'La Pléiade' 2024 it was crisp and citrusy. Staff were friendly and the room is warm and lively, bottles everywhere, great energy but you can still talk.

We decided to take family who was visiting from out of town to Wally's for dinner and this was a wonderful evening. I had an old fashion to drink which was made very well and I recommend others try it. The server was friendly and attentive making sure we were taken care of. The restaurant itself was at maximum capacity so it's not a place I feel would be good for an intimate date if you're looking for a private place to have an intimate one on one conversation.

What isn't amazing about Wally's? From their amazing astronomically, mine boggling wine collection to the delicious food the amazing service and the amazing vibes without being pretentious. It's a really cool spot to go to happy hours. Always fun and I really do enjoy spending time here I've gone by myself and just sat at the bar and had a glass of wine and a little bite to eat. Wallys is one of those Places that you just can't go wrong at. I have not been to the Wallys in Santa Monica, but I'd like to try it. When you're conflicted as to what you like to eat the bartenders or your servers always have the best suggestions. I have never been steered wrong. Plus there's so much other fun stuff to do around Wally's. You cannot go wrong.

    Caesar Salad with salmon
    Raina P.

I've been to Wally's quite a few times over the years and have always been a fan. The cocktails are consistently solid, and the sandwiches have always been a go-to for me. It had been a while since my last visit, so I stopped by recently for a light late lunch. I ordered the Caesar salad with salmon added, and we also got a Caesar with steak on the side. I'll start with the positives -- the steak was honestly cooked perfectly. My friend ordered it medium (I usually go medium rare), and it was still super juicy, tender, and really well done. I also had a gin martini with blue cheese olives, and that was exactly what I wanted -- clean, cold, and the olives were fresh and flavorful. We sat outside, which was a nice touch with a good breeze and a lively Beverly Hills street scene. As for the food, the Caesar itself was good flavor-wise. I really loved the addition of fresh anchovies and the roasted zucchini -- that added a nice depth and made it feel a bit more elevated than a standard Caesar. The Parmesan crisps on top were also great, but they did end up covering most of the salad. That said, the portion felt surprisingly small. Once you got past the toppings -- the Parmesan, anchovies, and larger croutons -- it felt like there wasn't much actual lettuce underneath. For a ~$25 salad, it leaned more toward a side portion than a full entrée, which both of us noticed. The salmon, while cooked well and not dry, was pretty under-seasoned. It didn't have much flavor on its own and needed salt and pepper to bring it to life. Considering the price point (around $25+ as an add-on), I expected a bit more seasoning or intention there. We also shared the Iberico chorizo plate, which was a highlight. It came with sweet peppers, whole grain mustard, dried fruits, and bread -- everything paired really nicely and felt well thought out. Service was decent. Didn't feel friendly but wasn't the worst. Wasn't too concerned with that yesterday. Overall, I still really enjoy Wally's and will definitely be back. The ambiance, drinks, and overall experience are always strong. I just wouldn't order the Caesar as a full meal again if I'm actually hungry. With a slightly more generous portion and a bit more seasoning on the protein add-ons, it would be a standout.

This same person brought my friend and I to the elevator to be brought up to the rooftop bar, and she was rude and stand off-ish (zero sense of humor around my whole talking shoe incident). That should've been my first sign that the service generally was going to be what missed the mark. When we got to the rooftop bar at the time of our reservation, no one was at the bar or the host stand. The view did not disappoint, so there was that! But the service was terrible; with only 4 tables occupied, it took a while for our order to be taken, and the food and cocktails were fine. I had the spicy tacos (fine), my friend the poke bowl (standard) and the beverages, watered down. We had the chocolate mousse dessert and it's the first dessert in my lifetime I couldn't finish - it was inedible. Where do I even begin with the magic of this place?!…read more This has become one of my absolute favorite spots and every single time I go, I end up finding something new to obsess over. The Paris Roma sandwich is chef's kiss. The bread is the perfect mix of soft on the inside while still being beautifully toasted. The tomatoes and cheese taste incredibly fresh, and whatever magical spread they put on it... I need the recipe because WOW. This is a refreshing sandwich! The Sea-trus salad is another favorite. It somehow manages to be light, refreshing, and still filling. The lox and veggies are unbelievably fresh and everything just works together perfectly. Love the lightness of the dressing. This will not disappoint! If I'm in the mood for something a little heartier, I go for the tomato soup and half truffle grilled cheese. I LOVE this combo. The truffle flavor is spot on and not overpowering at all. Comfort food done right. Now for the best part... dessert (my personal weakness). The canelés are my obsession. I actually buy multiple little bags of the mini ones to have with my morning coffee. They remind me of the perfect cross between crème brûlée and French toast. Crispy outside, soft center, absolute perfection. The St. Honoré is a little pricier, but worth every penny and I usually order more than one. The cream is light with a subtle vanilla flavor and those little pastry puffs on top are pure magic. This is more of an elegant, delicate dessert rather than something rich and intense. And then... yesterday I tried a chocolate dessert for the first time and I wish I remembered the name because I have not stopped thinking about it. It was a chilled circular chocolate mousse covered in chocolate with hazelnut and it was honestly PERFECTION. I don't even know how to describe it properly. Rich, smooth, balanced... I had it with coffee and it was one of those desserts you immediately plan on ordering again before you've even finished it. This is more of a rich dessert! For our drinks I had a cucumber gin martini and my partner had the Casanova. Both were delicious! For our appetizer, we ordered the Piri-Piri shrimp. It was 4 pieces of shrimp lined up with small circles of flatbread in between each piece, seated on top of a smoky and flavorful sauce. We both loved it! For our main meal we ordered the couscous "Royale," fresh Papardelle pasta, and roasted carrots. The couscous came with one lamp chop, stewed lamb, merguez, and chicken - with a side of sliced almonds and dried apricot for topping, extra lamb stew sauce, and the most incredible harissa. I absolutely loved this dish, it was so flavorful. The pasta was a solid dish as well, and the roasted carrots were also fantastic. For dessert, we ordered the lava cake and I had Moroccan mint tea. The lava cake was well balanced with flavor and not overly sweet. The tea was fragrant, sweet, and the best way to end the meal. Overall I had a nice first experience at The Little Door. I don't think there's much left on the menu that I would want to try. I would love if they added more Moroccan-inspired dishes to the menu to make them stand out! But I feel like I would still come back, and I recommend it as a place for date night or to celebrate a birthday.
