A neighborhood staple place. Came in to get the bourekas to go. I got spinach and cheese, potato and cheese, and plain cheese. There was also an olive one but I didn't try it. The bourekas did not come with sauce and I forgot to ask if that was an option. The service was excellent. They were closing but were super attentive and helpful. They even asked if I wanted them warmed. So nice. The bourekas here are wonderful! The dough was flaky and full of flavor. They were all good but my fave was the potato and cheese. Amazing! Beverly Hills has so many cute cafes, and I'm glad we tried this place out! We ended up sitting outside and the food and drinks were delivered to our table. Cute interior but they didn't have any empty tables. It was kind of cold outside but luckily we brought jackets, no warmers available. I got the sun dried tomatoes quiche, which was very crisp and flavorful. My friends got the farmers omelette breakfast sandwich, and open face avocado toast- and they enjoyed it. Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Pascal, and frequent the location in Woodland Hills often. This location is a bit smaller, but still offers indoor and outdoor seating. It is counter service, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, especially the baked goods, and that's why this location is getting three stars, because the food is just outstanding. The coffee drinks at this location are OK, but not up to the same standard as the ones served at the Valley location, I'm not sure why but the espresso machine here just tastes a bit watered down. Still better than the nearby coffee chain, but it could be so much better. Parking can be a challenge, there is street parking with meters if you can find it, and there is a large parking structure just down the road. However, even though it is clearly posted that there are no dogs allowed, it never fails that when I visit this location it is packed with dogs. Not service dogs, not even well behaved dogs... dogs that are at the tables and sniffing around the floor eating crumbs, and not even little lap dogs, the last time I was here there was a standard poodle at one of the tables. If you're going to go to the trouble to have a sign prohibiting dogs and then not enforce it, I just don't get it. It wouldn't be a big deal if this place wasn't so crowded, but there's no way that it is sanitary in this small a space. The last two times I have been here I have almost tripped over someone's pet, and had a dog try to snatch my croissant out of my hand. So if you are a dog lover, then this place is probably for you! At the same time, we explored some of my ethnic food bookmarks while balancing savory flavors with my sweet tooth. I had an authentic French boulangerie bookmarked in Culver City, which has gotten rave reviews for its Viennoiseries, where I had my eyes set on getting croissants and Kouign-Amann. However, since my brother-in-law's recommendation was only a 16-minute drive from home and I trust his gourmet palate, I didn't push too hard to drive out further. It was a cold and rainy morning when we drove out to Pascal on Beverly, and my brother-in-law suggested that I bring out my "Parking 'aumākua" as parking on South Beverly Drive is unpredictable. Luckily, we snagged street parking at the corner of Charleville Boulevard and South Beverly Drive. We quickly jogged into the fragrant and warm bakery and got in line along the display cases. I followed my brother-in-law like he was the Pied Piper and selected the luscious Viennoiseries while considering that we were getting enough for four people. While standing in line, my eyes danced at the sight of the Böreks (Bourekas) and quiches but popped while looking at the beautiful dough lamination (layers) of the Palmiers. I looked ahead and saw the croissants (plain and almond), pain au chocolat, and pastry "snails." I had to control my drooling after making the selections and shoved my way to the cashier before my brother-in-law conked me on the head, saying it was his treat. Hahaha. Lucky for us, we were near home, and I brewed a pot of coffee before tearing into the buttery and tender layered croissants. All of the viennoiseries (plain, pistachio and almond croissants, pain au chocolat, and "escargot") that we got that day were, in my opinion, as authentically layered or structured and flavored as at Paris, France's famous boulangeries, Laurent Duchêne or La Maison d'Isabelle. I can't wait to return to try Pascal's Cafe menu, which features breakfasts, salads, sandwiches (made with their in-house breads), and paninis. read more

I've been here a few times and have always had a great experience. The baked goods and pastries are the star of the show here, but recently also tried the turkey sandwich and thought it was great too. The baguette is delicious and all the ingredients are super fresh, including the little side salad. The almond and chocolate croissant is my favorite pastry here, as well as the baguettes, and most of the sweets -- never had a bad pastry here. This place gets a bit busy for lunch, but service is always pretty good, you just might need to remind them to grab your Diet Coke, etc. No big deal, they always grab it with a smile. Ambiance is relaxed with outdoor and indoor seating, and though parking may be tough on South Beverly I always seem to score a decent spot on Charleville. I was at the coffee shop this morning with my toddler. She touched a cookie that I was planning to purchase, but I was still in the middle of having my coffee. The owner was incredibly rude not just to me, but in front of my child. When I asked if I could finish my coffee first, he called me "ridiculous" and pressured me to pay for the cookie, i told manager that hide and put in the bag I will get it. Even though the owner was so rude to me. And he said I'm ridiculous so many times As someone who works next door and has supported this business before, I was shocked by how disrespectfully I was treated. A few tables with people enjoying not only conversations but their pastries with their coffee. One person waiting for his order and another person ordering a variety of pastries to fill a white box. All I want are two or three. Waiting for this lady to finish her order, I can still keep looking to pick out a few good ones I really want to try. The pear danish has custard underneath while the almond croissant has layers you know was filled with butter. The outside of each has this crispy crunchy thing going on with each bite. Flakey at the same time. A sip of your coffee would just wash away the delicious taste in your mouth so you hold out for a little longer. read more

Came in here for a quick treat and coffee - the ambiance is great - lots of natural light, bustling but not overcrowded, great views of Beverly Blvd for people watching and they have indoor/outdoor options. I ordered a small Mocha and apple tart - a bit disappointed they were out of the banana creme. There's no adequate menu affixed on any walls or chalkboards or any signage for that matter - to see the full menu, you have to pick up one of the clearly used to-go trifold menus. It's a little confusing and that would be my biggest recommendation to them. For example, I only ordered an Apple Tart and mocha - not knowing there were actually many other choices available. The apple tart was okay - soft and bits of salty sweetness here and there. I would have preferred a bit more time in the oven. Anyways, quick review, would come back for the great location and try other menu items. read more

The chocolate-almond croissant is a rich, delicious bomb. The pistachio croissant is far more subtle, flakey, & tasty. The marinated flank steak & eggs was great, cooked medium. They forgot to bring the delicious add-ons of cream cheese etc. for the side bread. That was ok as I used the crusty bread for the egg yolks, & brought the rest to mom. The crispy, thin garlic fries were nice, too. The schnitzel sandwich was big & tasty, with plenty of chicken, served with delicious roasted potatoes. I'll be back this week. At first glance the food tastes good, yet as we were eating the Jerusalem bagel we found a piece of WIRE in it. The first girl I approached gave me tremendous attitude. I asked for the manager. When I spoke to him, all he said was ,"oh well". I didn't expect to be refunded or any compensation. However, a simple I'm so sorry would have been appreciated. One of my favourite bakeries! I am obsessed with their pistachio croissant. Their iced capp had me buzzing - the coffee is strong and so delicious! I also ordered my birthday cake from here this year. I ordered the strawberry one ahead of time. It was light and not too sweet - a hit at the party! The people working there are really nice too and have been patient with my indecision (since everything there looks so good!) and they give you their honest opinion on what items are better which I appreciate! It now occupies the space formerly held by many other previous cafe bakeries, which in the last decade has been at least 4 businesses :( Upon entry, the same helpful nice service staff are all present with the exception of the new owner/chef. The menu and content offerings seem better, more French...sorry I am biased towards Frenchie French(I am a Francophile)but from observation the dessert display case has impressive selections. Evidently, Pascal has a cafe somewhere in the valley, a suburb section of LA and decided to open shop in Beverly Hills. The cafe nice layout is the same as it was with the previous occupants and same nice staff, just better goods. First time here since this cafe opened and it's a perfect cafe to meet for coffee, tea, savory or sweet. We opted to share eggs with smoked salmon and chives, with a baguette and a pistachio filled croissant...ALL delicious. In Paris and Israel, it's a generally accepted to have a glass of champagne or wine with brunch. We were disappointed that neither wine or champagne is offered. Also, Apple Pay is not accepted :( Parking is 2 hours free at the city parking structure about 5 doors away. Overall, this cafe is a lovely addition to the South Beverly Drive neighborhood, hope it maintains tenancy with longevity. read more

A local hangout for Israelis, who sit outside and spend hours at THEIR place, featuring many typical Israeli baked goods. We regularly stop by (not an easy option, as there is no parking in S Beverly Drive) to take home a cake, cookies or a quiche home (we do not care much for the Challahs). A place can be most fortunate to have amazing staff, or sometimes have a worker who does not care about customers, be obvious about it, constantly confrontational and just nasty. I have encountered both at Pascal, but the extraordinary guys overwhelm the less-pleasant singular experiences. It is for these pleasant, welcoming, calm and caring people who work at Pascal that they are blessed; and they manage to leave a taste of more, even if momentarily spoiled by nasty approach of the less-experienced, not-caring-at-all, spoiled apple in the midst. read more

Number one the prices are way too high even for Beverly Hills, $20 for a little fish omelette and not fully cooked potatoes is not okay. Over all the menu is small. The waiters are rude and were very mean when we asked for mayo so not that good service. And a cherry on top is the schnitzel sandwich which was made with old looking chicken, if you value your money wouldn't recommend eating here :( read more
