Salmon with Ratatouille (VG, GF) and Aperol Spritz

Zinqué is one of my favorite places to take a break while shopping at Westfield Century City. I stopped in for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were. I ordered the salmon over wild rice with an Aperol spritz and sat on the patio, which was especially nice on a sunny afternoon. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I'd happily bring friends from out of town here for lunch or happy hour, or just stop in after shopping. I'll definitely be back for the patio, the atmosphere, and the happy hour.

Stopped for a quick early dinner with a friend after a hard day of shopping at Century City mall. The salmon was delicious and came on a bed of mixed rice and greens. The portion was generous and was enough to take part home. Given it was a beautiful day we sat outside which was very comfortable. The service was spot on. The only downside is that parking is so expensive at the mall and there's no validation.

After doing a little bit of shopping I had some time to waste before my next event. So my friend and I stopped here for drinks and fries to nibble on. They have indoor and outdoor seating (I recommend outdoor if it's a nice day out). We came on a Wednesday early evening and to my surprise it was not crowded at all. No wait. We walked in and sat at the bar (bar is open seating). The bartender was very pleasant and attentive. He made really good drinks! They have a few specials and they also have happy hour. Although I only ordered fries, the guy next to me ordered a burger and it was big and looked yummy. He ate every bite so I assume it was good lol. If you are at century city mall and looking for a place for a quick drink or a bite to eat..... I would recommend Zinque.

I only go here for the drinks, have never tried the food hence the reason for the 4 stars. Other than that, customer service is exceptional for the two times I have visited this restaurant bar, the drinks are amazing and always taste so yummy! The ambiance is very cool during the day AND night! So glad me and my sister ended our lovely day here a couple weeks ago because it definitely put the cherry on top! Now she has a new bar she can even tell her friends about! I will be back forsure!

Zinqué is unique where the food is 5 stars but the service is between 2 and 3 stars. For starters, it is really weird how during the week I think before 4 pm (not totally sure), there are no servers and it's all self ordering. The disappointing part is that most of the time, there's no one at the front booth to welcome you and let you know. You just have to sit down, be let down with no server coming, ask around, and find out. The first time I came, there was a server for my table (like a normal restaurant), but the next time there wasn't, so I was really confused. You can order at the table via QR code or at the bar, but due to lack of good wifi you're better off ordering at the bar. At the bar, the people there are really hit or miss. There's two guys that are really nice and friendly, paying attention, but then there is this girl who is just talking and laughing with another coworker barely paying attention. It's a weird vibe. No one tells you about getting your own water, etc. Now the positive part, the food is delicious. Great menu with various sweet and savory dishes that are satisfying and nice plating. It is also good value for what you get, there are some healthy options that taste great, like the Le Breakfast Bowl, which is my go to. Avocado, burrata, poached egg, quinoa, bread, radish, salad, etc, super diverse plate which I love. I add chicken, which is so moist and soft; it is rare that chicken on the side isn't dry. The burger is also amazing. However, there are some weird inconsistencies that lower the restaurant's tier level. The bread on the side is sometimes warm and toasted, sometimes cold. The banana bread sometimes comes warm sometimes not. The quinoa in the bowl is sometimes ice cold sometimes warm. They are small things, but it makes it obvious that there is not an emphasis on quality control and strict consistency, which is vital for nicer restaurants. I go back a lot, as the food is delicious, ambience is beautiful, and the pricing is pretty good for what you get. But I wouldn't come here looking for a good dining experience. Maybe when there are servers it is different, but they don't even advertise this properly. Great solo dining experience, though, since there are nice outdoor views. The service part is just a bummer, since I wouldn't love to enjoy a nice romantic date or big group gathering here.

Indoor and outdoor seating--both are great. Fantastic staff that are so nice and super helpful. Le Bowl is the perfect dish. Ask for a little extra sriracha mayo and def get a side of fries and some rose. Love coming here. It's relaxed and laid back with a nice atmosphere, even when it's packed. Keep up the great work team!

Had a great experience here! It's located on the 2nd floor near Chagee, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Came around 6 PM on a Monday and was seated right away. We ordered the japanese sweet potato, crispy brussels sprouts, steak-frites, and grilled salmon. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Service was fast and very kind throughout. For dessert, we got the flourless chocolate cake with ice cream and caramel on the side. It was delicious and not overly sweet, which I really liked. Definitely will be back!

if you're not interested in the menu, at least stop by for the drinks. they have some neat cocktails with a nice kick & the bartenders are always so friendly. we tried the new harvest moon drink on our last visit & it did not disappoint! the toujours todos and the mezcalita taste spicy & smoky, definitely my two favorites. for the food, we've only had the wings before, they were good. this location has a chill vibe on the inside however alot of people prefer patio seating.

My mom and I came by for brunch on a Tuesday and the food was delicious - can't speak much for service as the only interaction we had with an employee was ordering at the front . I got the protein bowl and my mom got le breakfast bowl . Both are very filling - it honestly held me over nearly all day long . The crispy garbanzo beans in le breakfast bowl are so good, and the roasted pepper feta dip in the protein bowl is yummy !! I also got the baklava latte which I loved - not too sweet with a perfect hint of cardamom . Would definitely come back !

We had our eye on this restaurant for a few weeks now. We were supposed to go to the downtown LA one but our event got cancelled so we moved it to the Century City location. Great location with a nice patio and lots of indoor seating as well. The food came out quickly and was fantastic. Going back for the food for sure. There are a few other dishes I want to try but if you are looking for a variety including something for everyone including vegetarians and vegans. This is the place for sure. The ambiance was nice, we loved all the plants and trees outside. The only complaint I have is that our service was lacking. Our waiter was not the friendliest, barely checked on us and never came back at the end. That was a bummer. There was another server that was running several tables and he decided to check on us even though he clearly was super busy. The food is worth it tough and we will go back again!

Stopped in here for an early dinner but as luck would have it, happy hour just started! The hostess sat me inside near the bar. She was really nice! The decor is very cool, modern, bohemian. There's outdoor/indoor seating. The music really set the vibe. They had this pretty good deal where you can pick 3 of the starters for $24 so I went with that. I also had a beer from Canada which was tasty. Service was great all around, and I'm looking forward to trying their entrees next time I'm there.

    Maruko X.

Ambiance: it's located at the corner spot on the second floor of the shopping mall, spacious dining inside and covered patio, and expect waiting lines to get in and reservations are recommended, the table layout is weird, so packed and blocked the walk ways Service: friendly but very slow, it took a long wait to get water refilled and food served Food: classic brunch food with few French inspired items SMOKED SALMON TARTINE - **** crème fraiche, egg, dill, salt and vinegar chips, layers of flavors, recommend PORK BANH MI - **** pork belly, jalapeño, pickled carrots, cilantro, lime, mayo, soy sauce, very tasty pork, recommend Price: moderate portions and reasonable prices, expect $20~$25 per person

    Kelly H.

Ordered the salmon, quiche + fries, Brussel sprouts and mussels dish. The service is great and ambiance is relaxed. It's located on the second floor of century city mall plus plenty of parking in the lot. Great meal.

On multiple occasions, Elton has given me poor service and a noticeable attitude. I chose to overlook it at first, but eventually I brought it to management's attention because the treatment was consistent and unacceptable. After that complaint, the situation escalated. When I returned, Elton refused to serve me altogether. He would not look at me, acknowledge me, or take my order. I was left sitting there while being completely ignored. It became so obvious that other guests sitting next to me noticed and were concerned enough to step in and ask him why I wasn't being helped and to tell him to serve me. That should never have to happen. I then asked for the manager I had previously spoken to, Leo, because I wanted to understand what was going on. I still have not received any clear explanation. What's most concerning is that this behavior feels intentional. No employee in hospitality gets to decide who they will or will not serve based on personal feelings. If a staff member's feelings are "hurt" after a complaint, that does not justify refusing service to a guest. That is not professionalism--that is the opposite of hospitality. It was honestly disturbing enough that the people next to me told me directly that it didn't feel right and that I shouldn't come back because it seemed like I wasn't wanted there. That is not okay, especially at an establishment of this caliber. I am actively trying to get in touch with someone at the hotel who can properly address this situation, because this needs to be taken seriously. No guest should ever feel ignored, singled out, or unwelcome in this way.

I emailed the bar to make a reservation since the online system was down, and they emailed back immediately to confirm -- and even said they would surprise my mom with an extra birthday cake! Now all I had to do was wait 3 weeks until her visit so the experience could finally happen. The day arrived and I got my mom to Maybourne Bar with her none the wiser. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. This is a true gem in Beverly Hills. I'm already planning my next visit!

What was frustrating is that he never mentioned happy hour had ended while we were waiting for him to come back. We were then charged $10 for the original drink we never received, and the replacement drink was charged at full price because happy hour had expired. That didn't feel fair since the delay was entirely on the server's end. I really gotta respect their dedication to red meat and the holy art of cooking a damn good steak. This place is essentially what I'm looking for in a restaurant. Basically hits on all cylinders and checks off all the critical boxes. I don't want to sound all dramatic and such, but I'm dying to go back and try all the other items I didn't have, as well as check out the bar experience. I spoke to some locals outside before they opened, and they weren't just lovely -- they also painted a pretty picture of what the overall vibe is here. It's clear a lot of people in the Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills area love coming here very frequently. Our server, who I assumed is named Nolan because that's what's shown on the receipt, was very accommodating, kind, and easy to talk to. I think he did a fantastic job dealing with my difficult, picky gf. Haha. I can't say anything was less than stellar. The croquettes in that celery purée stuff were phenomenal. Garlic bread was seasoned and baked to perfection. The bone broth sipper was nourishing af. French fries were perhaps the best I've had in years. Broccolini was fresh, high quality, and complimented the steak very well. I'm bummed we only got to try just the ribeye when it came to the cuts, but my gf did not want to order anything under medium or medium rare that night, so that was a bummer. It's her loss! The panna cotta was the creamiest sweet treat in all of LaLa Land. This is a great place, and it's a top-tier steakhouse. SoCal sometimes lacks places of this caliber that NY, Chicago, and SF / Napa have, but this place is a very close contender to some of the top cream-of-the-crop, steak-centered restaurants in the country. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Unfortunately, our initial table was extremely close to a very loud neighboring party, making conversation difficult. To the restaurant's credit, the staff accommodated our request to move, and the new table significantly improved the experience. The food was excellent. We ordered the Dinner for Two, and every component was well executed and enjoyable. The quality of the beef was evident, and it was clear why MATŪ has built such a strong reputation. The cocktails were also well made. Where the experience began to unravel was the service. Wine service took roughly 20 minutes, dessert was noticeably delayed, and our server seemed to disappear for extended periods throughout the evening. The most frustrating part came at the end of the meal when it took more than 25 minutes to receive the check. When it finally arrived, it was delivered by a manager in a manner that felt dismissive rather than hospitable. To make matters worse, an automatic gratuity had already been added to the bill. While I understand the practice in some situations, it felt particularly disappointing given the level of service we received throughout the evening. MATŪ serves outstanding food, and that is what earns this review more than a few stars. However, hospitality is about more than what comes out of the kitchen. For a restaurant operating at this price point, the service should match the quality of the food. Unfortunately, on this visit, it did not. I left impressed by the meal but disappointed by the overall dining experience, and I'm not sure I would return.

Our server had that polished resort-service energy while still being cool and personable. I started with the Two Way Margarita -- or something like that; after the second one, the name got a little blurry. I was a little bummed they had run out of sushi rolls, but they made up for it with the tuna crispy rice and tuna tartare, which were both excellent. Funny enough, both still had sushi elements, so I'm not sure how that worked, but I'm not complaining. For entrees, we ordered the branzino and shrimp curry. The food was very good -- maybe not the best I've ever had -- but the ambience and service elevated the whole night. What might've been an 8.5/10 meal became a true 10/10 experience. I'd definitely recommend Gemma for a date night, anniversary, or anyone looking for a beautiful rooftop dining experience in Beverly Hills.
