I have been giving you and ONLY YOU my business (for breakfast) at least 4 times a week during this quarantine! Every single time there is a different mistake with my order. I was next in line to give my order and the woman completely ignores me and takes the two people behind me. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it so I waited until she finished taking their orders, but she doesn't even ask me if I'm being helped and she just turns around to make their orders. The other person behind the counter saw me waiting in line but again he too chooses to ignore me. I don't know if they have a problem with asians or if that's just how they are, but they were unbelievably rude and just didn't give a shit. I liked going here for a change of pace since I live so close to another bagel shop in OT. Never again. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and the bagel I got was covered in hair. OMG, thank you for making the best bagels in town! I tried the bagels for the first time today! There used to be a great bagel place that I loved but it closed and for a while I was buying bagels from ShopRite which were good but they had fallen off for the past few months. Wally's Bagels are soft, chewy, freshly baked (not stale), tasty and their cream cheese with scallion and the salmon salad is the best I've tasted! All homemade. I unwrapped my bagel, which consisted of a plain bagel with cream cheese and lox. The first time I opened up my bagel I could smell the combination of solid dough, cream cheese, and smoky grilled salmon. After smelling it the temptation of tasting the food was exhilarating. The taste of the bagel is like a Saturday morning drive to your vacation hideaway with the first bite being the combination of what extraordinary ingredients. The touch of the bagel is like any other bagel; it's hard like a shell but when you bite into it, the hard shell becomes a soft outer shell of deliciousness. Just tried this place out and the breakfast sandwich was really good and reasonable. The only complaint I have is when I called to place my order, the guy sounded like he was rushing me and after I was finished placing it he hung up on me. I think it's rude for someone to rush you while your trying to place an order. Have always enjoyed the bagels here. I am however not a fan of the astronomical prices. The last and final time I will step foot in here was last week. Me and my family were heading on a road trip so we got 5 bagels with cream cheese. We left the lot and as we were driving we bit into our bagels and tasted the most disgusting spoiled, sour, cream cheese. We called to tell them to check out the cream cheese because it was spoiled, the person on the phone told us that it must be because we just brushed our teeth... Are you kidding me? Best bagels in my area. Greta selection of bagels and cream cheeses and other toppings. The bagels are available in regular, whole wheat, 8 grain, and gluten free options. The veggie cream cheese is prepared well and so are all the low fat versions of the cream cheeses. There is also a great selection of other foods and salads. The store itself is well kept and there is ample seating if you are going to eat in. There are a few benches outside on the sidewalk to relax out in the sun and people watch. There is plenty of parking at all times. Automatic doors make it easy if you're taking out a large order. The staff is friendly and quick to get you in an out while being absolutely attentive to everything you are looking for. Even if they don't have something or have run out they will make suggestions and try to help you get what you needed or close to it. Try this place out if its in your area. Its my only bagel spot now. read more

I was really excited to have this new lunch spot in the neighborhood, especially for the make-your-own-salads! Unfortunately the staff there doesn't use utensils to build the salad - they use their gloved hands to select each of the ingredients, inadvertently mixing the juices/contents of the various bins. New favorite bagel place! Very friendly and accommodating staff. They hollowed out my bagel and made my unusual breakfast sandwich without question or attitude. They offer many sandwiches, both healthy and indulgent, baked goods, desserts, and many cream cheese options that looked good. A few that caught my eye were the tofu cream cheese, veggie tofu cream cheese, chocolate chip cream cheese, and many low fat cc options. Bagels are ok, but the staff is completely incompetent. It's ok if you order one thing, but if you order multiple sandwiches they are completely incapable of getting the order correct or making sure all items end up in the bag. They have no problem remembering to charge you for all of them though! I now check the bag before I leave the store to make sure everything I've ordered is in it as they have short changed me more than once. Today I had everything, but two of the three sandwiches were wrong when I opened the foil at home. I've given up on Wally's and will take my business down the road. I've never seen such incompetence persist for so long in an establishment. Poor management. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, lots of seating were available. I ordered an onion bagel with salami and mustard and my wife ordered the blueberry bagel with cream cheese. Both were really good. They actually used good quality Genoa salami unlike other bagel places around the area. The owner also seemed very friendly. Found my new bagel place. :) read more

I hate to say it, but I have been here a dozen times, out of convenience mostly, and it's always one issue after another. I even call ahead to order and I'm left hanging on the phone for 5 minutes before I just hang up. Nothing is worse than standing inside waiting while one of the kids is texting instead of working. They have a great location and it's the only reason I can imagine they are doing well enough. Bummer. read more

I've been to this bagel place more than a handful of times. Ordering something simple with just butter or cream cheese on it, you'll get your order correct. However that past 5 times I've gone here and ordered an everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese with salt pepper ketchup.. They seem to mess it up every time.. They write it on the paper right and repeat the order back to you right but make it wrong. Every time they forget to put the ketchup, salt and pepper on. And then they try and convince you that you ordered it wrong or that it is the correct thing you ordered. And it's not as if they were crazy busy every time we've gone in.. Today it was me and one other person.. Still made wrong.. We will be finding another bagel place that isn't a waste of our money that makes our orders correctly. My order from Wally's expertly combined butter with a fluffy yet crusty certain bread that I like to call a bagel. Even though this order was take out, I still love the decor of the restaurant from past visits. When you first walk into the restaurant you smell a wonderful smell that catches your nose. Once I had my bagel ready to eat I first noticed how it looked and it looked like a pale, tan color, with white buttery cream coming out of the sides and is cut to perfection down the middle. I was hungry and the bagel looked very irresistible so when I went to go grab the bagel I felt a good height of the bagel and it was hard with a nice crust on the outside and an soft core. I was finally going to take the first bit of the bagel and once I bit into it I heard a nice crunching noise that sounded so amazing and the taste was the best of all. It tasted like amazing wonderful bread coming straight out of the oven and butter slathered on top. read more

This was my go-to bagel store up until I realized how poor the customer service was. The bagels are good and they have a great selection of snacks and drinks. This is a nice place to sit down and enjoy your food. However, this is not the place for a quick bagel trip due to slow service. Every single time I order, the staff will always ask me to repeat my order again AND I have heard them do the same for other customers. Finally went into this bagel shop and so glad I did! The staff is extremely friendly, and the breakfast sandwiches amazing! I got the egg whites with low fat Swiss and avocado on a whole wheat everything. Perfect! The egg/filling was as thick as one side of the bagel. So many places skimp and give you a small egg, but even the whites were large and fluffy. Can't wait to try their regular sandwiches and salads too! Definitly give this place a try if you want an amazing breakfast sandwich. read more

Wally's is a great addition to an area that was in need of a well rounded breakfast/lunch spot. This cafe is clean and modern looking with sufficient seating and a large flat screen in the eatery. The food and bagels here are usually always great. For breakfast, I will usually get a hobo sandwhich (bacon, egg, cheese and homefries) on a croissant. For lunch, The Griswald sandwich which consists of chicken cutlet, bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomato with ranch dressing, served on a long hero roll. Now although the food here is quite decent, the problems in this place start and end with the staff. I have realized that I need to keep a close eye on the person preparing my food as there have been MANY mistakes made in the past. One employee was not aware that he should be putting butter on both halves of a bagel. After 2 bagels with only one side buttered, I complained. He was actually surprised by my request and said that most people prefer butter only on the one side. On another occasion, this same employee attempted to cook my bacon in the microwave!! Luckily I noticed and asked him to kindly cook the bacon on the grill. There have been 4 other occasions in which I got home with my food and then realized something was missing and had to drive all the way back to have the error remedied. Wally himself is very nice and knowledgeable of the business. While he is always quick to fix his staff's mistakes, one more screwed up order may very well be the last one they get from me, which would be quite unfortunate since I enjoy the food and atmosphere here. read more
