At the time, I was just interested in a quote and I told them that I would contact them again to finalize a deal if I couldn't find anyone to beat this quote. I ended up going out of town and forgot about my side project. Cut back a month later, I contact Pull-A-Part last week to sell my vehicle to them. The Operator then low-balled me with a different number than what they first offered and offered me $380. I was upset with this new number since I was expecting them to match their initial offer. I begrudgingly brought up this point and the Operator came back with a new offer of $410 for pickup on Saturday 7/12/2024. Since I was tired of dealing with this entire project, I agreed and we set an appointment to pick up my vehicle at 9am. I received a confirmation email and made preparations to have the vehicle picked up on Saturday at our agreed time. Come Saturday, I received ZERO correspondence from the hauler and at 0945am I contacted Pull-A-Part to ask if they were enroute. The Operator stated that they did not know when the hauler would arrive and that I would be contacted. Since I received no correspondence an HOUR after they were supposed to, I asked to reschedule for Monday. The Operator advised that the hauler would reschedule to Monday and did not provide a new time. The Operator stated that they "could not provide a time for Monday." I found this statement to be incredibly unprofessional since they were happy to provide a time when they first tried to low-ball me. I agreed to an ambiguous Monday reschedule. Today is Monday and you can guess that no one has contacted me and no one has come to get the vehicle. At this point, I'm sure that this business is some kind of scam.

The only thing preventing this from being 5-stars is that the store was understaffed. When I arrived, there was only one poor employee there trying to help about 5 of us in line. When another employee came in early, the working employee expressed his thanks that he had come in early so he could help him. The second employee, realizing he was a few hours ahead of his shift time, just went into the back to hide from the line of customers instead of help. The employee working actually had to call him up to help, to which he initially responded that "he wasn't supposed to be there then." While I get that from the employee who arrived early's perspective, at this point you're already there and customers have seen you, so why not just clock in and help the large line that had formed (at no fault of the employee working)?

We were methodical about it... until we met the crew at Solo Motorsports. For the last 3 years now, we've had all of our service issues handled there and have never had a single complaint. They are a small shop, with high personal detail given to each customer. Each time either I or my wife walk in or even call... they know who we are. They've made practical suggestions to keep our vehicle running longer and then made fun suggestions to see if we wanted to turn our quiet unassuming family SUV into a yuppie rocket wagon from hell!! We have always said that this is one of those vehicles that we will own until it dies. With help from Solo Motorsports... we plan on enjoying it and keeping it running for as long as possible. I'm not sure I'd ever take it to an Audi Service Center again. We're spoiled now.

Was told that they charge 3% for processing any card payment, though it is not reflected on the invoice and neither did they say anything about it when taking the card. When I mentioned that I would have appreciated having been told about it at the time of payment as it would have allowed me to consider other forms of payment, the fee was refunded but the response that followed is what I can only categorize as rude and unpleasant. Not recommended.
