Payton not only ordered our tires, but made the process extremely easy and honestly pleasant. This means A LOT because the previous days leading up to talking to Payton have been quite a nightmare because the tire size on my car is unusually and many tire places weren't even able to get them. Payton did it with a smile on his face, even with the hustle and bustle of a busy day! He was able to make sure the tires arrived (earlier in the day than even promised) and get me in for an appointment to mount and balance them! I cannot thank Payton and Discount Tires enough for helping me get home safely to California!!!! The price of four tires was very competitive and truly worth it! I am forever grateful!

I was given a price quote for services (twice in fact) then had the old bait and switch pulled on me once I had already wasted two days of my time and hundreds of dollars prepping for the service they quoted me for. After I had committed all the money and invested all the time, Discount Tire tried to nearly triple their estimate because they thought I had no other option than to be extorted on the spot. Not only was it slimey, dishonest, and in incredibly poor taste, but they were also wrong in thinking I would submit to their antics. Even though it is causing me even more work and expense, I came back, loaded up my rims/tires, and will now begin my search for another business to service my family's vehicles from here on out (one with the integrity to stand by their commitments). It really is a shame because a family member of mine had a very similar experience recently and I was the one person at the table defending Discount Tire...told her that I had never experienced the kind of treatment she spoke of. But that all changed today. They acted exactly as she described and now I'm the one feeling foolish. It's officially the end of an era and also the end of our business together after nearly 30 years. Bruce Halle would be rolling in his grave. This is not the same company he founded.

I went inside and spoke with one of the managers, and during the conversation one of the other managers chimed in "why do you want locking lug nuts, no one steals tires anymore". I said that's not the point, and I'd like my vehicle back the same way it came in. I was told they were on order. I stopped by the store a few days later and was told again, they were on order and coming from CA, but they should have them shortly. That was two months ago- no call, no update, no anything. They took it for a test drive, removed the driver's side rim, and the young mechanic begins saying "oh, no, no." He has barely removed the rim at this point. Never did he move the rotor to check for lateral play, before stating, "your control arm bushings are shot, and tie rods need replaced". As a mechanic by trade, it was obvious, they were either looking to make a minor adjustment into a front end rebuild, or they just did not want to do the work.

Bought a 2021 ranger from valleycargroup who partners with this shop for their inspections and…read morerepairs. They inspected the truck I bought which had a power train error light and a burning smell from the rear left axle that I thought was just pads when I bought the car. They told me they needed to replace the wiring harness to get the powertrain code to go away and turns out that the harness they installed is not correctly sending signal to my transfer case motor to engage 4wd. Also, they slapped new brake pads on the axle without fixing the leak and the only reason I knew about the leak is they had to send the truck to a transmission shop to get it fixed so the car could actually be transferred to me and that shop informed me of the leak. This shop does shoddy work and hides things from their customers.
