Every time I get an oil change from them a new warning light turns on the next morning never coming back here again.

Easy parking factor: you'll walk a little, but you'll park on the cheap attending Rays games. $10 lots galore, or maybe $15, plus you can probably rideshare over if you're looking to avoid the stroll. Cheap ticket factor: yes my friends, who actually cares about Rays ball except the locals? I know I sure don't (said to the scalper to get some good deals). Throw in ticket aftermarket sites and you'll score some single-digit gems or certainly under $20. It's cozier with the 300 level closed. Get the royal field-level treatment for less than some parks too. Welcoming factor: Love and be loved at Tropicana. Catch a bunch of future Sox/Yanks before they're big-time, still making $200K/yr. Friendly fans who actually like the sport and the team since it's not always a championship year here. Food factor: leave your greenbacks at home since Tropicana is now cashless, but you'll be able to swipe that plastic for plenty of choices inside the park. Recovering from "worst food safety" award in 2017, enjoy edamame, protein bowls, coconut shrimp along with that Cuban sandwich or Pipo's Chicken. Move freely about the cabin factor: since people are mainly other places than here on gameday, you'll have plenty of chances to catch the action closer (or farther away) if you decide to roam after inning 6 like you should. Stretch those legs up near the nosebleed and you'll be high but not far from the action thanks to only 25K seats (sort of feels like a college basketball arena). Hang out near field level or look down on the bullpen for an alternate view. Little kid souvenir factor: still that minor-league expansion-team feel here, so plenty of chances to interact with players before they're worth $120mil. Definitely great for batting practice foul-ball and autograph-getting from the visiting team. It's laid-back West-Coast South-Florida charm at its finest. Add in some fan-friendly players, without the chip on their shoulder, dressed in powder blues, and "look kids it's baseball in Tampa!"

It's tough to get excited about an auto parts store -- either they have what you need in stock, or…read morethey don't. I've always had good success with the Advance Auto Parts chain, and this location is a gem. You'll find Advanced Auto Parts stores all over the Tampa Bay area, and this particular store can be found along Waters Avenue near Hanley Road. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to pick up some new windshield wiper blades, a can of coolant for my air conditioner, and some engine oil treatment. Nothing terribly exciting, but that's part of the joy of Do-It-Yourself auto maintenance. After ringing up my purchases, the guy behind the counter said they would install the wiper blades for free, and also give me a hand hooking up the air conditioning coolant so that I didn't accidentally over-charge my system. Geez, I wasn't going to argue about getting some professional help, and so one guy starts installing the wiper blades while a second guy shows up with the tools and the metering equipment to test my A/C unit and install the right amount of coolant. They took the can of engine oil treatment from me and installed that as well, and then used a cloth to wipe down the engine block and close the hood. I tried to give them some money for their time and efforts but they waived it off and just said "Come back soon!" How can you possibly not like quality customer service like that?

OK once you are able to locate them (in lower level of parking garage), during the correct hours,…read morethey are GREAT! I could not reach them by phone and they opened about 45 minutes late. But John was super nice, efficient and apologetic for the late delay. Truthfully I only waited about 5 minutes and he imediately answered the phone. Used a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change ($51, regularly $79.95). It's a great concept to have the oil change available while shopping at Citrus Park Mall. (There is also an adjoining kiosk that provides car detailing). Will definitely use their services again, now that I know where they are and to schedule an appointment first.

But the hours weren't changed on Yelp or on Google. I am certain of that. The guy responding is the person I was talking to when I was calling asking why no one was there. If they were indeed supposed to be closed that day why would he have told me on the phone on Monday morning that his worker was out for a family emergency? Seems like he would have just said, "sorry we are closed today." On top of that, why would he have said that he will be sure that they are back Tuesday morning (which they weren't)? I guess they care about their business enough to at least address the complaint. But it just looks sad when they do it by implying that the customer is an idiot and is wrong. And by just straight up lying about what their hours were. Weird look. Probably best to know this pattern of behavior prior to trusting them with your car. Original review: I wanted to like this place. First time I went I had no problems and was in and out very quickly. Second time I went I brought two cars and there was no one there (about 11am on a Monday). I called them and was told that the worker had to call in for a family emergency, which I understand completely. I was told to come back the next day. I had bought two groupons to have this stuff done, so since I had already paid I agreed to come back. Came back the next day and again, there was no one there (11am on a Tuesday). Called the number, no answer. Texted the number, no answer. Giant waste of time. Ended up having to get a refund on my Groupons. This is a nice idea for a oil change service, but it is obviously severely poorly executed. I hope a competitor who actually wants business comes through and does it correctly.
