When I saw the 2 star review I couldn't imagine why a store would have such a low score. Now I do. The people who work here are incredibly indifferent and not helpful at all. I was really shocked. There were no shopping carts in the store and when I asked, I was told I needed to go outside to get one, even though my arms were full of merchandise. I did not expect to buy that many items and went to the entrance expecting to find shopping carts. Think that's the last time I ever go there. read more

Shopping in the personal care and beauty section is a NIGHTMARE. Everything that you need in skincare is behind locked doors - and I don't mind that so much due to the frequent thefts. But it took in excess of 10 minutes after ringing the bell multiple times to get someone to come out and help. And when she came, she was RIGHT MAD out of her mind at the three customers who were waiting saying very loudly in Spanish that she is the only one working the entire Walmart. And that our waiting for 10 minutes is not her problem and that it is the matter to take up with the bosses. Ordered a Mercer Bread Knife on line. Tracking data showed it stuck in Camarillo, CA for five days, so I contacted the US Postal Service and Walmart. USPS first said they'd never gotten the knife, but a couple of days later tracking data indicated it was in Idaho. It arrived over a week later and was the wrong knife. Instead of a bread knife, I got a longer, thinner salmon slicer. Return wasn't too complicated; Walmart provided a bar code which was scanned at the FedEx mail center, which generated a return label and a couple of days later my account was credited for the return. Walmart said it could take three weeks to get a credit, but fortunately it was faster. Had their customer service been better, they would've immediately shipped the correct item, but I'm done with Walmart and will try another seller because the hassle wasn't worth it. Their location is inconvenient, and I don't like their policies, so rarely shop there; they don't seem to care about their customers. read more

I went online to return the wrong sized flip flops I had purchase online. My return was processed online and an email was received confirming my return but I had to return the flip flops to a Walmart Store to credit my credit card account. It took me 30 minutes to drive to the Walmart in Mountain View, CA. The untrained and rude customer service person, Sheila claimed that she was only able to process my return for 1 pair NOT the 3 pairs I had confirmed in the email I had received. She refused to call the back office. Furthermore, she was extremely rude to tell me to call. I called on my phone and asked her to talk to the back office. She also refused. I requested to speak to the store manager. I was told by another Walmart staff that the manager won't come in until in the afternoon. So, I had request a shipping label to ship the unprocessed return flip flops to Walmart. This store is staff with lazy and untrained staff while Walmart is paying them wages. They should be replaced by robots and AI to pass the savings to the customers especially during this economic challenging time. My friend and I went into the store for a few groceries and a iPhone charger. The charger was the last item we gathered so we were able to check out in electronics. The guy helping us made conversation with my elderly friend and was so super helpful as he didn't have to help us bc he was there to sell phones but his name was Roxito? I want to give a huge thank you to him for being so pleasant with us and taking the time to help us when it really wasn't even his job or responsibility. He truly made my experience at this store amazing and they are super lucky to have him on board. read more

Several items intended to purchase at this store did carry higher prices than what advertised online. Stores normally will honor the online advertised one just because customers have physically visited them, to my most surprises and disappointment, the store assistance manager not only refused to prices match with those on line advertised; (these identical items are sold and shipped by Walmart.com on line); he even was angry and annoyed being asked for the prices discrepancies! The total prices' differences are very little, not a big deal; but the inferior customers' services and mistreatment are unacceptable! I have been using Walmart Grocery because I could not get a refund of Walmart+. It has been a convenience experience overall But I can't never be satisfied with their service. Wow, for the first time in my Yelp history I have back to back 1 star reviews. In the case of Sprawlmart one would have thought it would be hard to sink below the previous two star I had hung on it, but despite the overwhelming odds they managed to deliver such a sub par customer service experience for me tonight that was the straw that broke the camels back. First off the parking lot. Its a busy strip mall location no doubt, but now the parking situation sucks even more sine they installed these giant carts with poles that contain cameras on the lot. These things take up 2-3 parking spots each in an already tough parking situation. Thanks. The store is dirty, the carts even more so and the first 2 I pulled had the theft prevention locks activated thus making them impossible to move YET some employee no doubt placed them there basically ignoring the fact that they were basically dragging a wheel. That attention to detail A shout out to the guy with the palate mover that bumped into my wife without a word and kept on going eager to make the main corridor even tighter with more crap. Way to go dude, nothing a little ice couldn't fix later. And that brings us to the huge line to check out. Yeah the store was busy, and our line was 10 deep. But the lady a few customers in front had an item that was already opened (it was a costume and she only wanted the beard) and it would not scan. So on goes the help light. 3 minutes later a manager comes up then we get to watch them argue back and forth, over how to handle it. This goes on for some time with the embarrassed customer offering to just pay the full price for the clearly damaged package. We just wait in the un-moving line. Almost 10 minutes elapses. SERIOUSLY the manager should have taken the customer to an unused register trust me there were plenty and dealt with the issue rather than hold up the line with their arguing how to handle it. Thanks for wasting my time. All of the other issues from my prior review remain as well. Enough is enough and really shame on me for going back in. This location has wonderful customer service, good inventory and plenty of parking. out of all the supercenters this one's my favorite. there are always wipes carts and baskets at your service. prices are wonderful and the quality is wonderful. this location in particular happens to be about a 10 minute drive from me and it's convenient because it's located near other places where I run my errands. The only reason for three stars is because it is extremely packed and I think they need to hire more people considering how long the lines are. parking can be sort of difficult because even though it's a pretty big lot there's just too many people no matter what day of the week you go. read more

The worst damn service...over 30 mins to get a bike tire tube NO ONE CAME TO OPEN the glass cabinets. Two reps said they would have someone paged. Fortunately I was able to squeeze my hand through part of the locked cabinet. Wal-mart is a fun place to me. You see a lot of events that later can be great for story telling with your friends. Why I love shopping here, is because I'm cheap. I grew up poor and even though I have a decent paying job now, I just can't break the habit of paying top dollar for things, when places like Wal-mart or the Dollar Tree exist. The Mountain View location is not bad, compared to the one I grew up with in San Jose, that is a whole other story. Mt. View location have tech people and other working class shopping here. Across the street is Target, so I think the chichi moms go there? Parking lot is large, never have to worry about hunting for an open space. read more

I bought covers for 4 stools I had just purchased. I requested a return ticket and I sent them back. I got credited 50% of the value and when I called to claim the rest they told me that I should talk to the third party. Apparently they ordered from some place America Gold Bona E International Trading Inc, possibly located in China. The product was of very poor quality and very small for my chairs. They said they received only one package so they only credited me half. I sent the complete product in one package in the same form and enveloped I got them from this place. I walked into Walmart yesterday to get a couple of items for my travel trailer. I didn't know what section the RV parts are located, so I at the first person I found wearing the blue walmart vest. I said excuse me to her, she did not look at me or respond, I said again excuse while walking directly toward her to face her and asked, where is the RV department. She did barely respond and I realized, she doesn't speak English. This happened with two other women I approached and both of them did not look at me or respond. I finally found a man who spoke broken English who directed me to the general area. I know there is a high concentration of Spanish speaker people in the SF Bay Area, but this is an English speaking country and this is simply not good business to alienate the majority population. I was thoroughly disgusted and disappointed that the hispanics population are receiving priority over others. I wonder if these women we illegals/undocumented aliens, but I wouldn't be surprized... It's all about the dollar isn't it, you greedy corporations... IT'S NOT RIGHT!!! I used the self check and upon exciting , the receipt checker ( Asian man) asked for my receipt which I was confused coz where I live they ask only when items are not bagged. This was fine with me but what I didn't like is I had to wait in line. I know many of you were going to complain about the customer service, but they are doing the best they can. Although I was waiting for 15 minutes for somebody to help me, I reached out to an elderly Black female employee. As she was gesturing to me in sign language, I quickly realized that she is deaf. I am glad that Walmart employees many disadvantaged people. I had to buy some bicycle tire tubes, tire levers, and a chain breaker to fix my bike after an exciting and adventurous weekend on my fixie. Perfect timing since my buddy is kind of sore from the three hour bike ride back and forth across San Francisco. I have to say, with their surprisingly wide selection, I was tempted to get a wider and more comfortable seat. But I opted to do some more research before I get stuck with something I'm not sure I will be using for the next few thousand miles. I initially went to target to buy the tube but they only had 35 to 43 mm with while I needed a tube that would fit a 700 C 28 millimeter width. Every store on the map had this part in stock in the store. This was very convenient since I did not want to wait for shipping from Amazon. It's better to check the stock online to see if it is in store since it can be difficult to get a hold of anybody over the phone except for the pharmacy. The bike parts are kept in a glass case. So you'll need to call for somebody to open it up who has a key. read more

Just when you think that this Wal-Mart couldn't get any worse... I subscribe to Walmart+ just so I can avoid shopping at this incredibly cluttered and often dirty store that lacks even mediocre customer service. Even then, I have only had ONE correct order delivered from this store -- just one. Still, I keep ordering in the hope that I might have had just a handful of bad experiences that aren't "normal." The problem is that it is normal at this store to ONLY have bad experiences. Last night, I ordered (via Walmart+) to have my items delivered between 9-10 AM today. This required a $10 "Express" fee on top of my yearly subscription fee. Still, it was easy peasy. - This morning at around 8AM, I noticed that everything was listed as already "SHOPPED." I just needed to wait for it to go from "PREPARING" to "ON THE WAY." I felt confident that Walmart might get it right this time. - At 9:30 AM, I noticed that the status was still listed as "PREPARING" despite everything already have been shopped. At this point, I was growing concerned. - After 10 AM rolled around without my items, I tried calling Wal-Mart in Mountain View. In fact, I tried calling 12 times (to three different departments) and no one ever answered the phone. - I got on Walmart.com chat. They assured me that my items were shopped and should arrive at 11 AM. - After 11 AM and no groceries, I called a few more times. No one answered. So, I went on the Walmart.com chat again. They explained that the new expected delivery time was 1:45 PM. - After 1:45 PM rolled around with no groceries, I tried calling Walmart in Mountain View yet again. No one ever answered any of the six attempts. So, I requested a callback from Walmart.com. - Walmart.com customer service called me and told me that they would contact Walmart in Mountain View. Five minutes later, the Walmart customer service rep told me that the Mountain View store never answered the phone despite calling them numerous times. - So, Walmart.com customer service cancelled my order. They told me not to worry, because I wouldn't be charged for the groceries that were never delivered. So, in conclusion, this store is HORRIBLE. It is CLUTTERED, DIRTY and LACKS NORMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Items are perpetually out-of-stock too. It's almost impossible to find someone in the store to assist you with a question (and, in the rare instance that you do, they simply tell you to come back next week). It's also nearly impossible to maintain "social distancing" in a store where the aisles are almost always cluttered and the people forced into the narrow aisles. Simply put: This is the worst Wal-Mart that I've ever had the displeasure to shop at. It doesn't even help to pay for the Walmart+ subscription for grocery delivery -- because the store is so terribly managed (or not-managed). I've ordered basic items that are conveniently "out-of-stock" with nearly every order. Yet, I drive to that same Walmart a half-hour later and find those items on the shelf. It is a difficult thing for me to say that I "hate" a store. However, I truly hate the Mountain View Walmart. I've never experienced any store that is so poorly-run. My only guess is that it continues to be so poorly-run because there aren't any other Walmart stores in the peninsula. read more

I pressed the red button over 3 times and nobody showed up, I even asked the nearby employees to help me out only for them not to come back. Absolute waste of time. This is really a review for Wal-Mart.com and the Serta mattress dog bed. I ordered a Serra mattress bed for my puppies and it has been such a good idea! The puppies can stretch out, can rest their chins in the raised bolster, and it has a zip off cover so you can wash it in case of accidents. See pics. Had to walk across the store to find someone, who then told me they can't help out in the electronics section so if have to wait there until the guy showed up and he was probably in the back. Turns out he was helping someone purchase a TV. Better staffing would be good. Had also called ahead to keep the prints on hold for a day, and had to wait on th phone for about 20 minutes before being able to speak to someone. read more
