We are very satisfied customers! Walmart is our weekly go-to grocery and home goods store. The variety, quality and prices are what keep Walmart heads above smaller grocers, and we won't apologize for being fans. Making it through Covid and inflation has been challenging, but I can't imagine what it would be like if left to only the pricey, limited inventory of smaller stores. Walmart is the bread and butter of our weeks, and we only get limited "treats" from other places to keep our meals varied. So nice to be able to shop for home goods at the same time, and they are wonderful about mailing prescriptions to our home! read more

Yikes nearly 200 workers and combined they all probably have a total of 7.5 brain cells. I pushed the buzzer in the Lego section and waited. I pushed again and waited. I shook the glass door and waited. I spoke directly to the camera pointed at me, telling Loss Prevention that I was waiting...and waited. I told the camera that this is BULLSHIT and waited. I looked for an employee on the other toy isles. No such luck. I fully understand why high theft items need to be locked up, but could they PLEASE have a key carrying dedicated employee for each department that has merchandise locked up?? Extremely Awful management. That's really all I can say. The employees don't give a shit ether so they are rude & don't help you when you ask. Grocery pick up: is a real hit or miss. When I get Lou it's great and I have everything I ordered. When I get anyone else, there is always a full bag of stuff missing that I still get charged for. Good luck doing any shopping here literally everything is locked up. I'm writing this as I wait for an employee to come unlock a door for me and I swear to god it smells like a homeless man's socks over here. I understand this whole anti theft system but at least have enough staff to keep up with customers that need to get their shopping done there is only one man in the area opening all the doors and he's doing his best but the customer demand is just too much. I always order from Walmart to pick or deliver my groceries. They have always been very good with keeping in contact with me.

I have very mixed feelings about this place. It's Walmart after all so I come in with very low expectations in terms of customer service and quality, but I've been pleasantly surprised on some occasions and horrifically disappointed on others. It really is a black and white experience when it comes to shopping here - it's either really good or really bad. One thing that is absolutely consistent about shopping here is that you won't be able to get everything you need. Plan on only getting about 50 to 60% of what's on your list. If you think that finding things was bad before the pandemic, it's a lot worse now, although it's like that everywhere so you can't really get on Walmart for that. But it will surprise you sometimes what they are out of stock on and it was like this before as well. For instance, their entire frozen seafood section was completely wiped out. I've never been to a store where that was the case, but that happens frequently here. I've also had the misfortune of purchasing fish that was already rotten, chicken wings that were also rotten, and a few other items that were very rotten when I got home. I've had to drive back to return them, and if you don't come before 8:00 p.m. you're out of luck. They scrutinize each and every return while shoplifters run free. While the perpetually empty shelves are a huge problem, the prices can't be beat and sometimes the customer service is stellar, even better than you would get at a higher end store. it all boils down to personality at the end of the day and some of the people here are very hard working. Some are also extremely rude. Like I said, it's luck of the draw every time you come here and you never know what you're really going to get. I keep telling myself to stop shopping here and supporting the store, but everywhere else is so expensive and my budget is limited so I find myself coming back over and over again. Absolutely the worst customer service (except the older lady by the spray paint) The operator is useless... on hold for over 18 as I write this when all I need to know is if they have something in stock with a sku number. This is NOT the first time this has happened with this SAME operator. The manager really needs to get their crap together. It's not like anyone can ever find someone in the store that can help... you can at least get a helpful customer service operator. Ridiculous. Update: Well after being on hold for 53 minutes (thank god for speaker phones), I received help from a different lady who had looked through the store for what I was looking for as well as online for a different brand to help me out. I don't care much for the Walmart on Lone Tree from past experiences. However, they had toilet paper, so that's where I went. It is disturbing to me that everyone is required to wear a mask in Contra Costa County when shopping. There were numerous people who, as soon as they entered the store, their masks came off. Store employees walked past them and never once asked them to put their masks back on. I wouldn't be surprised if this store is shut down for non compliance of requiring shoppers to wear masks. I pay for Walmart + and count on grocery delivery, buying my groceries for the week. It was cancelled TWO WEEKS in a row, the same day. The first time I found out 12 HOURS after it was supposed to arrive that it was cancelled. They swore up and down to give them another chance. Well, I did. I have been a Walmart loyal customers for many years and today, I experience the most racist and non-sense incident with Walmart and never will visit this location unless the most racist rude cashier Sonia no longer work here with better management. 2 days after Black Friday, this store still got tons of left-over goods. I happened to look at the DVD in a purple box near the cashier. There were so many and due to limited timing at the store and foot pain, I rush through the heavy pile moving certain DVD in a pile in order to see what is in the cramming pile. Problem starts, a racist cashier named Sonia, Hispanic female walked up to me and warned me to organize the DVD back in a neat pile or else she will call security on me. I freaked out immediately and scolded back to her "did I steal something"? Security!!! She was just a cashier clerk, not a supervisor and even if she was a supervisor, what give her the rights telling a loyal customer to stock the merchandise back in order or I am arrested??? 10/3/22     I called the Walmart # Call 1-800-925-6278 (1-800-WALMART). Filed a complaint. Ref # 221003-003533. To find out that John is in fact an assistant manager, and Ileana and Christen are not manger even though they stated they were. Come to find out that no such policy exists and was in fact made up and the store should be allowing people to try on bras. Additionally it was stated by Walmart customer department # that if you do ask for a copy of the policy they are in fact supposed to post them and provide them to the public.  I stated it was discrimination to people whom chose to wear a bra not to be allowed to try on because they identify as having breast and needing this support. When I was transferred to Ethics, whom customer service felt I should strongly talk to about the matter, there was a malfunction and their Ethics department is not able to take calls at this time ..... How covenant. When I called back a 4th time because I could not get through to Ethics for this reason, I was told in 3 days they should reach out to me and a help ticket was placed. I think John Christen and Ileana should take extra training courses and sensitivity training for John since breast clearly a topic that made him feel uncomfortable and rude and impatient. He had other things to do and could not be bothered with the matter any further. read more

I came in to conduct a return this evening 6/23/21 at 7:30p. I asked the door greeter where was customer service to do a return. He pointed me to the front near the registers. Upon arriving at the CS counter, there were three employees there. Not one acknowledged me. My wife and I asked for assistance, and no one seemed to know what to do, one person went to get help the others continued working on gobacks that were in several baskets. The manager came up to me and told me that customer service was closed at 7p. She pointed to a hand written sign on the queing posts. There were no times listed, it only said closed. She was a bit rude and told me there was no one there, the money was pulled and the registers were shut down. She came accross like I was being unreasonable for asking for assistance. I had to take my return to the Pittsburgh location to try and process my return. Upon exiting I asked the person at the door what time the CS area closed, and he just stared blankly at me, and nodded his head in agreement. That yes it was closed. I am disappointed that there wasn't better communication for the hours of operation for the CS area, and the fact that I wasnt provided a solution other than driving to another walmart to conduct my return and purchases. I have been a customer of walmart for 30 years and I just dont understand why the CS area would be shut down while the business was still open. Add: I just went to Pittsburgh and the CS area here closes at 6pm. The hours weren't posted at this store for the CS modified hours of operations. read more

This Walmart is huge and has grocery and everything else that Walmart has. I've done online pickup at this location and it's a pretty easy and convenient process. The pickup counter is located right up front with dedicated employees dressed in orange for pickup only so that makes the process faster. Customer service is what you'd expect from a Walmart but this store is pretty clean compared to what I've seen in San Leandro or Union City. You can get everything here of course! read more

However, I was injured at this store because they had items with broken glass and this company treated me like my injury didn't matter and was extremely rude. Another time I have found opened containers of medication. Yesterday I noticed they have now placed locks on the seafood freezer section. This review isn't about the whole store, but of an associate. Though, I've never really had any issues at this store. I use their Grocery Pickup service weekly, traveling from Concord. This morning I was there for my pickup. It was busier than usual, and had to wait 25 or so mins for my order. No biggie, I arrived at the tail end of my reserved hour. I must have left my car on too long, because my battery died :( I let one of the grocery associates know about my issue, telling him that my husband was on his way from Concord to jump me, and apologized for taking up one of their spaces. Another associate, David, was sitting in his car across from me, on his lunch break. He overheard and offered to jump my car for me. So very kind of him! He made it so my husband didn't have to drive the 30 minutes to save me, and my groceries got home in a timely manner. Thank you so much, David! I appreciate you :) read more

Once again on a SATURDAY 2pm. they only have 3 cashiers working the WHOLE front of the store. The same manager walking back and forth doing nothing more but looking. Then there is another manager.
