I decided to give this place another chance since new management came in and changes were made to the store and so far it's been a good experience until today. I bought some Flowers from here a day ago and seen it had no plant food attached when I got home. Today I decided to go back, grab a few more things I forget and grab a packet of plant food. There was a worker putting the flowers out and instead of just grabbing one off of the already put out flowers, I thought hey, let me ask him for one and explain the situation. TLDR; This store sucks. Expect to waste way more time than could ever be necessary. Just to start, my experience with this store over the last 10 years has become worse and worse over time. This store is consistently messy. Shelf racks moved, entire item lines just sitting on the ground. Rude and unhelpful employees. Trash all over outside. The biggest problem is that they are locking up everything now. Every time I have gone in this year, most of the stuff I need was locked up. I want to highlight my last experience with them for this review. I recently stopped at Walmart to buy a new razor. I went on a trip and managed to loose mine. I expected to only be in the store for 5 minutes. All I needed was a razor, and I already knew which one to grab. Walmart though, has most of their items now locked in glass displays. Most of the items behind the glass were not organized and half were just thrown in there haphazardly. There is a convenient button right next to it to call associates over. No one came after pressing it. I tried another button in the same isle too. I pressed those stupid buttons no less than 200 times. I waited there for 20 minutes and no one came. Knowing that the button is useless, my spouse spent the time tracking down an employee. It wasn't late, only about 7 p.m. There were a lot of employees in the store. She asked a couple and they said they were on stocking duties and would page someone to go over. No one showed up. Went and found more employees. Same issue. Rinse and repeat and now I'm thinking that its just not worth my time. I tried calling the store number to ask them to send someone over, and never even got to talk to someone one on the phone. The person who did end up unlocking it told us to be more PATIENT!! By the time we finally got the item out of the case, it had taken over 45 minutes. Yes we checked, and that was how long it took. Not counting checking out at the front, where only a couple of registers were open, and the self checkouts were closed. TLDR; This store sucks. Walmart Auto Center is the worst to take your car for any work. Been going here long time unaware I was getting my oil changed and the length of time to go back went from 2 months to less than a month my maintenance light come on. At first I wasn't tripping I'm like this ain't right. All there doing is setting the miles low so you can continue to come back get your money you have to watch them they take long and rude I will ever go there again I went to dealership. The workers in the Walmart are really nice overall had no experience that was to write home about ( bad ) I would recommend this place for your grocery needs. It's pretty packed there's a big parking lot but most of the stalls were took up that's one of my biggest complaints and that's not too bad so. It is Christmas time so it will be more packed. There's a lot of stuff for Christmas so go get your Christmas present while they're still there. I purchased an Xbox Series S on 5/5/25 for my son who turned 11 on 5/9. On 5/10 I spent almost 2 hours trying to set it up his profile and gamertag in the system. I tried within the console and thru the Xbox app and everytime I would enter his email and try to set a password it would kick me out and back to the home screen. Obviously there is a problem with this unit. Today, 5/12 I returned to Walmart Brentwood to exchange the Xbox. The employee helping me was nice and friendly and ready to exchange it until his counterpart told me it can't be exchanged, it has to be returned for a store credit which I can then use to purchase another Xbox. I purchased it for $100 less than the current price! I told them I'm not spending $100 more to get the same item I just purchased last week! They called over a woman from checkout who appeared to be a supervisor who told me this is what I have to do, they don't have a way to exchange this!? It can only be returned and then I have to purchase another. After telling her no, this was not only poor service and nothing in their return/exchange policy states this, AND showing my receipt which specifically states my purchase CAN be refunded OR exchanged within 30 days, she continued to refuse my exchange, told me she wasn't gonna argue with me, walked away while contacting her supervisor to deal with me. A "Coach" named Kerry then came over. I went thru the scenario with him and he told me I could exchange the Xbox. He checked serial numbers to confirm the product and looked at my receipt. I will say that Kerry was professional, friendly and did what he could to help, but ended up the middleman in a situation that probably felt uncomfortable. Kerry and I walked back to electronics to get another Xbox. And of course..... Out of stock. No more coming in til 6/9, more than 30 days after my original purchase. He checked and said they have 2 at the Pittsburgh Walmart. Ok, can we transfer 1 to Brentwood for the exchange? No. They don't do this apparently. Ok, can we call over to confirm before I drive there? No. I was told they can't call over to simply speak to anyone to do verify. Wow. At this point, clearly seeing my frustration rise, Kerry reached out to what I believe is his supervisor and explained everything. This person, Asher, is why I will never shop here again if I can help it. I was basically told by Asher that my options were to get a refund or go to Pittsburg. Can we contact Pittsburg to confirm and have them set 1 aside for me to exchange? No. And, he tells me they wouldn't hold it for me anyway. And, he tells me they might not exchange it anyway. What? He says it's at their discretion. I explain I've read the policy, all Walmarts are corporate and adhere to the same policies, why wouldn't they exchange it? Are you telling me you can only return/exchange a product at the purchase location!? He basically said since they don't have it in stock it should be refunded here so Pittsburg wouldn't necessarily exchange it. Again, wow. I could go on about the back and forth for several minutes between us and his smug, condescending attitude telling me I don't understand what he's telling me.... I've only worked in retail and operations management for over 30 years after all.... But what's the point? The level of customer service is atrocious. Can't make a phone call? Can't set aside an item for exchange? Expect me to accept a refund only to pay $100 more for the same product? You always find a way to say YES to a customer unless and until you have to say no. Exhaust all efforts. They never broke a sweat. If sales and profits were determined by customer satisfaction, where would Walmart rank? People tolerate this poor service because of the low prices. My experience is these employees seem unhappy, uninterested, indifferent and apathetic. You ever see a Walmart employee smiling? A customer is the purpose of your work, not an interruption. Anyway, I left the store with the Xbox. I haven't decided what to do next. read more

*****CHANTA***** I typically go to other drug stores because it's really hard to get a customer service representative at Walmart to unlock the cases - but there is one thing that I can only get at Walmart so once in a while I have to go to Walmart. On 8/21/23 my daughter and I walked into Walmart makeup department and there was a friendly lady walking around talking with customers and asking if they needed help. She quickly made her way over to me and my daughter and offered us some help. We had questions about some products and also needed to get into one of the locked cases. She was so happy to help us. She was very friendly and very helpful with her service. She enjoys doing her job, obviously. I asked her name because I wanted to write this review about her, her name is Chanta. She is the best customer service person at Walmart. I wish there were more people like her in Walmart and out in the world. I hope Walmart realizes the gem of an employee they have. The online order process is ridiculous now when you put an online order in and your order is delayed they won't give you your money back for 48 hours after their systems clears 48 hours after you put in your order so of you put it in on Monday for Tuesday your wont get your money back until the week after if that's all the money you have it's gone until their system says a week later when it say it wasn't delivered So technically they are stealing your money in hopes you won't remember and they can get over on you I had it happen to me before with this company read more

Don't order pickup from this Walmart, if the Walmart app or website offers you that option. I naively thought to go to the front of the store, which says it has a pickup station with associated pickup kiosk. Instead, a store associate says to go to the real pickup location, at the back of the store by the restroom. At the restroom, there is a sign for pickup but no kiosk. Press the button for pickup multiple times. An associate may show up "eventually." The inventory system that runs this store may not have a record of your order. You can show them your first and last name, or order number, which may or may not work. Mine eventually did. Yours may not. My process took 15 minutes from confusing start (dropping by the wrong pickup location at the store's front) to finish (agent giving me my pickup order). read more

I would give no star if possible! Customer service is a joke. I bought an item in the store, at the register scanned different price than the actual price. As a courtesy to other customers behind me, I bought the item and told the cashier I'll go back to the shelve and take a picture of the barcode of the item. After confirming the price I asked for my refund and the manger said I need to go the return/customer service and line was way outside. Dude, after showing you the curtesy of not holding the line at least you could have refunded me the money by waking me to customer service. read more

What a sad state of affairs for the city of Antioch and Walmart (WMT). It seems like every other trip Walmart has something else locked up behind glass with one of those red assistance buttons you need to press to get an associate with keys to unlock the item for you. That would be perfectly fine if an associate reliably showed up in a timely matter after pressing the button. This trip I went to Walmart for motor oil. I've been buying motor oil from Walmart for more than two decades. Normally this trip takes less than 5 minutes to grab, pay and go. That is no longer the case. Motor oil is now locked up. In recent years I've grown use to finding some surprisingly random stupid thing newly locked up, pressing the assistance button, waiting 10-15 minutes before getting frustrated, rolling my cart down an empty aisle and buying from the Jungle website instead. When customers can no longer complete a shopping list without pressing a red button for every other thing on their list and waiting for unlocks from overworked/understaffed employees that take 10minutes or more per button, you as a brick and mortar retailer are in trouble. read more

Aside from the scuffle I have witnessed both outside the parking lot and inside the store, Walmart Supercenter for the most part fulfils its job; bring low price items to the consumers. What I like best is that this is my go to spot for buying oil and filters for when the time I need to change the oil on our cars. Walmart is just getting worse and worse! WATCH your receipts because they have a tendency to overcharge you by scanning items twice and you only bought one! I buy so much that I don't notice til I get home! What is worse is when you call them, NO ONE answers and you let it ring to see and they just hang up on you! Like no one cares and my daughter tells me what do you expect mom, it is Walmart! She tells me they even have memes about Walmart and their horrible customer service! BUT I always had hope because they are cheaper and with inflation rising, I thought I would save some money! BUT you are NOT saving money if they charge you extra money for something you didn't even get! And it is not the first time, they do it consistently so I don't know if it is a ploy(I have heard others on Next DOor complaining about this practice as well!) or the cashier inadvertently did it, but it is curious it is MOST of the time the past few times I have been here! And I try NOT to go there as much as possible because quite frankly, I like Target better-at least brighter and cleaner and some cute stuff (but they don't have as many meats, produce,etc.). You feel more secure too with Target security as they have visible and undercover security. I have called Walmart today at least 6 times throughout the day to see if customer service ever answers and even once to management directly being transferred from the pharmacy (figured they would be the only one that answers) and STILL the management does not answer! Frustrating and no wonder Walmart is closing stores nationwide-maybe because it is the low-end of retail, they figure they don't have to provide customer service at all?! I just spent 400.00 and they have lost my business forever-I rather shop at Costco and Raley's-much cleaner and more respectful. And much safer and better customer service at Costco and Raleys. Standing in line to checkout, a new cashier walks up (name badge Christine with red and green hair) and tells the woman behind me and a man in the back of a different line that she will help them at the register next to where were standing. I was next in line after a family who had already placed all their groceries on the belt, mine were still in my basket. I should have been asked to be next and not the people behind me. While this also goes on the lady behind me who didn't acknowledge I should have been next, it is ultimately the employees responsibility to invite the next customer over, not to specifically single out individuals to move. read more

I'm not a person who shops on Black Friday as I've had bad experiences in the past, you know people fighting, snatching things out your hands and ready to trample you for a good deal?! I love the convenience of shopping online on Cyber Monday. Anyways, I walk inside Walmart expecting to brace myself you impact from the crazy Black Friday shoppers, but actually, my experience was great. They have a routine that is down packed. You look at a map for a specific item you're looking for like the PlayStation were being sold in the sporting goods department they gave me a ticket which guarantees I will get the item I want. I knew I couldn't leave once in line and a lady behind me had family members and her own private security guard, yes, you heard right her own private security guard. There was a game I needed and another person standing by us need and she sent her people to get what we needed. That was so kind of her. I'm still a little confused as to why she needed a security guard with her though... Once 6pm came around, I was in and out in no time the staff were cheerful and all smiles. Even though it was packed in the store they had every single register opened so the checking out process was quick and easy. Why can't all Walmart's do this on the regular. Lol! Would I on Black Friday again? Maybe if, I absolutely had no choice as, I'm accustomed to being a Cyber Monday kind of girl. Shop from the computer and be done with it. I just got home from this Wal-Mart. I am shaking I am so upset. I had ordered yesterday they gave me today at 5 for pick up. When I got to the store I could not find the slots for pick up so I pulled up in front of an interest and asked the employee where I picked up orders and he said I had to come in to customer service. No way. I drove up and down the rows looking for pick up signs. I couldn't find any so I parked and called the number in the app. It took awhile for her to find the information. She looked and finally said she was sorry for my wait. And then said I need to be in front of the door at the grocery store end. She said there would be big orange signs. And that she would tell them I was there. I parked at the tiny orange signs and waited 7 minutes. I got a call from the store asking where I was. The pick up is near the back. There are marked spaces over there. Who knew. When the lady brought my order, there were 2 out of 6 things. Really? It took 30 minutes to get there and 20 to find the pick up spot. Stood in a long returns line (didn't mind that it was long just stating for wait time) to return a vacuum that I bought in Pittsburg a few days before (4 to be exact). The vacuum was purchased while I was relocating from Pittsburg to Brentwood and I attempted to take it back on 08/01 when it stopped working (purchased 07/29) but the counter was closed for the day. Got to the counter and was told oh I can't help you, you have to go to Pittsburg because there's no box. I could find the exact item on the website with confirmation of upc but they weren't having it. I asked for a copy of their returns policy and was denied (although it says I can obtain a copy from the counter) and told to get it online. Let me just say, I came to this location because it is closest to where I just completed my move to and I didn't want a refund, I wanted an exchange and the Pittsburg location didn't have anymore to exchange. I've never had to go to my purchase store because of no box but being denied the policy copy that's offered in writing on the signs above the counter was off putting for sure and felt like I was being written off. read more

What I like about this location was that it isn't messy compare to the Pittsburg location. Your wonder why Amazon is taking over your business? I've been in the store twice this week buying canning supplies. Today I waited 15 minutes for an employee to open up the locked cabinet. They could not find an electronic unit to work. I asked for a director or store manager to help me. I was told non available. I resent the fact I am treated like a criminal in your store. I wanted to buy a new fry pan and they were locked up. I've already quit buying health and beauty aides from Walmart because they are locked up. I've frequented this location since 2014. I'm disappointed in how the staff behavior has changed here. I was with a family member and we were scanning our items in the self check out (I was scanning my items first). This older white female employee (immediately had attitude) came to complain and said we couldn't scan more than 25 items at the self check out. We informed her that our item were separate and then she started raising her voice at us stating that it's 25 items per cart and it doesn't matter if our items were separate. (I've never had this issue before and no associates complained). She went to her station and then I got an error message at the self check out showing there's an error and I'd need an associate to help me. I'm assuming she did something to block me from purchasing my items. I was almost done scanning my items when she approached me in the first place, The woman refused to help me after the error message generated and had 3 security guards follow me to a regular register. After checking out from the regular register. I presented my receipt to the door associate and the security guard that was there. The associates name was Gwendolyn, I wasn't sure if it was the same woman that has attitude at the self check out. Both the security guard and associate had attitude because I handed both my receipt and my family member's receipt and started going through everything one by one. Fortunately, the other door associate (tall white male with grey hair) that has seen me an my family member frequent this location all of these years stood up for us and said there wasn't any issue. We always have separate receipts. It's ridiculous that an associate had several security guards follow me and my family member for a few items. read more

Good experience..What all the bad ratings ?! I'm not at Walmart very often, usually for a particular reason (big stores are overwhelming !). Today I'm her at the auto Centre so that's what I'm reviewing overall. The auto team have been super nice, in particular Dionte, at informing me what's going on. Trying to be patient that a wheel rotation & oil change are taking 2.5 hours on a slow day (Mother's Day) but at least he keeps me in the loop. The store overall is clean, toilets surprisingly very clean and all shelves well stocked. Read a lot of reviews before writing this (I got time y'all) and really surprised at all the bad ones. The absolute worst!! similar to other post there's no point even trying to call the phone number... Nobody answers. The home delivery service is always late or doesn't even happen at all and then when you call into inquire about your order, they give you the same way that there was an emergency the driver had so couldn't deliver the order. And if you do get your order, most of the items are expired or bad quality, or your perishable food is hot because it's been sitting in somebody's car or somewhere for hours ! I have orders that say the driver attempted to deliver but weren't able to even though they would just be leaving it on my doorstep so there is no way that delivery couldn't happen and then it's impossible to get them to cancel the order and refund your money. I was trying to do the delivery method because the inside of the store is absolutely disgusting. Nothing is stocked. I i'm seriously shocked how this location is still open and in business. read more

I started using their delivery service for groceries in February. It went very well for the past 5 months until now. Like everything else, it started out great and has really gone downhill. Missing items and being charged, no notification of them canceling my order and being later than scheduled time. Also, ice cream half melted when received. I think Walmart needs to hire their own drivers with refrigerated vans instead people with my groceries in their Trunks. I think they don't want tospend the money for it. There's a medical reason why I use delivery, but it's getting frustrating and may have to use Instacart but they are expensive. read more
