Not enough organic produce not enough vegan food options in dry section or the frozen section. Self checkout line was long, but I got the help when I needed.

This is still a good neighborhood Walmart. There's ample parking. The grocery and produce areas are decent. The other areas simply don't have the robust inventory of competitors. I was looking for a cheap handbag and found very few. I later went to a competitor who had 4x more. That's just the nature of this small Walmart. It's solid for what it is.

This is the customer service where the sign clearly states that they will happily refund as long as it's within 90 days

Pablo at customer service as well as manager Anthony stated that pharmacy items cannot be returned within 90 days for store credit even though their science clearly states that they will.

I'm not a routine beer drinker. However, once in awhile I find myself in need of the beautiful creation... You know, just a sip under a shade tree, contemplating the universe. I've found no better selection and price than my friendly road side WM Superstore. Now,where's that lake Go!

Spcacious and clean walmart next to many other shops and restaurants! The selection of food is great, as well as other household items. The employees were nice, and the self check out was very convenient

If it were Willmart, they'd sell Last Wills And Testaments, but it's not so they don't. This is not our favourite Walmart, but we were able to find a few of the things we wanted. The parking lot is a total zoo which is annoying, but in general it's a decent Walmart and we were able to get tanning lotion and a few of the grocery items that we needed, so it was fine.

I've been using the Walmart self-checkout at 2525 W Anderson Ln for years now, it's always been kind of crappy. Recently they updated the store and the POS systems. I was excited that they would have fixed the issues and made it a quicker, more seamless experience. Unfortunately, they have accomplished the total opposite. 1. While the new UI may look a bit nicer. They took a laggy system and made it even laggier. about 1/4 of my finger presses are not registered anymore. This is really bad guys, it's like using a 10-year-old tablet and incredibly frustrating. 2. The old system had this annoying aspect when you wanted to check out produce, there would be a button that said: "Produce". Now it says "Look up item" to make it less clear. Then a dialog that's at least 3 years old says "Checking out produce just got easier!, just scan it" Tomatoes and many others don't have codes on them. So I always have to click TWICE to get to a laggy keyboard, plus now it's not clear how to even get to that screen. 3. The new system has bugs too! I scanned an avocado and it asked me to enter the code, which was you know, on the label I just scanned. 4. You can't just checkout now, you get to also select how you want your receipt. Email / Text or Print? Well, 10 yards from the POS system, you have a guy who wants to look at your receipt. So I guess if you want to save a tiny amount of paper you could do that, but who will? Nearly nobody, so don't make everyone select it every time. 5. Two ways to improve this. First, have a button that says "enter produce item" for people that already know about scanning produce. The 2nd thing is list the top 5-6 items that people enter. At HEB that's what they do and it's way better. 6. I pay with my Citi double points card. Now instead of just completing the sale they try to get me to spend my points at a rip-off exchange rate. So now there is more button presses, plus an annoyance. Another annoyance: 1. This isn't POS related, but my Walmart now has an annoying chime go off every 1-2 minutes with store-wide alerts. It's insanely annoying. Please just stop. 2. They have removed 40 parking spaces for online pickup. Perhaps sometime in the future this will be used, however right now there are max 2-3 cars actually doing this. Instead it steals good parking for the rest of us. 3. The rotisserie chicken used to come in a container like every other store has done forever. However, at this Walmart, they come in a bag. It has a zipper top that constantly gets caught up in itself and your hands are going to get messy trying to get chicken out. Why?!?

I explained that I do not need the pills replaced, am meticulous with my medications and that the correct amount had not been delivered, but they essentially shrugged their shoulders. Two months later, it happened again. This time I received 29 pills instead of 30 and, once again, I was assured that I was mistaken. Refusing to be gaslit a second time, I asked how they could explain tablets that were never delivered. I was told their Pharmacy Manager would contact me. After 22 days and multiple follow-ups, Pharmacy Manager Mel finally called. He asked me to explain what had happened and, after I spent all of 15 seconds doing so, sat in complete silence. Eventually I asked, "Are you still there?" His response: "Sorry, I didn't know if I was allowed to speak." It felt less like discussing a serious issue with a Pharmacy Manager and more like speaking with a pouting, immature 12-year-old. I jokingly asked whether I should say "over" at the end of each sentence, to which he replied that it "would be very helpful so I know when to speak." He then offered to transfer my prescription elsewhere. The entire conversation lasted less than 90 seconds. The lack of professionalism and seriousness on display was astonishing, especially considering we were discussing repeated pill count discrepancies involving a Schedule II controlled substance. I would strongly urge people not to trust this company with their health. They cannot count to 30, they refuse to take responsibility when errors are raised, and their own Pharmacy Manager lacks the maturity to handle a basic conversation. If they cannot reliably count pills, why should anyone trust them to ensure the correct dosage or even dispense the correct medication? Most concerning of all, there is still no explanation for the missing tablets. Did Capsule make a counting error? Were there failures in their controls? I still don't know, because nobody at the company appears interested in finding out. Capsule seemed far more concerned with transferring my prescription elsewhere than investigating why this happened twice. Your health and wellbeing are too important to place in the hands of people who treat these issues with such alarming indifference.

I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I came here trying to support my own project and left feeling watched, dismissed, and frustrated.

Ok now that is out of the way. Review time: I really love this location so much. The store is huge with wide aisles making it easy to navigate compared to the smaller stores. Even if it's crazy busy on a Sunday afternoon you can still get to the items you need with ease. The store is still very clean and of course modern since the rebuild. Employees are friendly. The shelves are stocked fully 99.999% of the time. I live extremely close to the East 7th Street store (5 min away) and opt for this location time and time again.

I love that they have a parking garage so if it's pouring down with rain, one doesn't get drenched trying to get one's vehicle with a basket load of groceries. On the escalater, there is one side for you and the other side for your trolly of groceries. I have abandoned my neighborhood HEB and now patronize this one at 2400 S. Congress Ave.

It looks like the place was hit hard as there were items everywhere, there were boxes littered throughout with items meant for restocking, and the energy just felt a little tense. That being said, I think it's not too bad of a location. Super close by where my Airbnb was and close by bus station and a major road in the city. It's long but not wide and so there aren't a ton of aisles but the aisles are longish. The beginning of one aisle might have chips but by the end of it you'll be with the makeup. Cashiers are up front and there aren't a lot of self checkout lanes. Some items were locked behind a glass door but for the most part, everything was accessible without the help of employees. I didn't find my first choice for a couple of items but found my backup choice. So I'll give it a 3 star. But don't expect it to be the cleanest or most tidy
