Came twice here to pick up items. First time was for a car battery and wanted to turn in the old core. Went to the auto department and was told where to go and pick up my battery. Asked them if I could drop off the old core there. They stated I could do so at the pickup location. Went to pickup location and received my new battery and explained that I wanted to drop off the old battery. They then pointed me to customer service. Got in line for about 10 minutes before I was told that the old battery needed to be turned in at the auto department. I explained to them that I tried that but got redirected to customer service. They stated to go back to the auto department and if they didn't except it, to just leave it anyways. Went back to the auto department and now there was a different person but fortunately this time around they stated that it was OK to leave my old battery there. Such a waste of time just to drop off the old core. Second time was to pick up tires. That experience was also a waste of time. Was waiting to be attended by someone and what really got to me was that they acknowledged that I was there, but never asked if I had been helped yet. I was finally able to flag someone down and explained I was there for a pick up. They did help me promptly after that, but it shouldn't have taken 15-20 minutes after they did acknowledge that I was there. Will definitely be limiting my shopping here. read more

Not a big fan of this location its simply too big. No in and out quickie here hell you could get lost just looking for the restrooms. I was in the area and needed to get some grocery items what a strung out mess this store is. I really think its just too much. This is located in an extremely busy shopping area, with lots of stores of all kinds. Many big name and popular restaurants in this area as well, making for heavy pedestrian populated parking lots. read more

This store doesn't know how to answer a phone. It would have been quicker for me to drive to the store and just find out for my self. All I wanted to know it they closed for christmas eve, instead of staying 24 hours. When it finally got a hold of a person after calling 6 times I was put on hold I waited 5 mins before I hung up. They also only have 3 registers open when the line is 45 mins long. What is this Disneyland? I much rather go to target and pay extra. read more

California Wal-Marts in general suck monkey balls. This one specifically is always understaffed, beyond messy, unorganized, and just gross. There are few quality items in the store. How would I even know this? Because like the store or not, it's open 24 hours. Sometimes when I come home from work at 2-3 in the morning I discover that my son is out of milk and other essentials. So off to hell I go. I mention the California state of Wal-Marts because through my travels around the states I've had to use the store on numerous occasions. When Wal-Mart is the ONLY store around, people tend to treat it much better. But here in California, it's just another store, and people junk it up completely. read more

First time I've been to this location. Very clean and quite. I actually came to replace ONE tire that I brought in without the car. There was but one car being serviced on at that time. I go and select my tire and continue to shop. It's been over an HR and an half and my single tire is not ready! The cashier lady who wears black glasses and has a large tattoo on her left outside arm is rude. I asked to speak to the manager and she denied me that. Horrible customer service. They don't answer their phone after 10pm and more than likley they wouldn't if it were 30 minutes earlier. Lately, I've had the same complaints about Chino WalMart. The last five times I've been there, multiple registers are closed. It's bad enough that they trained us like trained monkeys to use self checkout, thus saving WalMart from paying human cashier's (other than the obligatory three or so cashier's each store still has). Obviously this creates the inconvenience of long lines. I usually buy quite a bit and when I use the self checkout I use the larger checkout registers but those have been broken down too lately and I've been forced to use the small self checkouts or wait in the extra long lines that have human cashiers. This creates an extra step of inconvenience because I just have so much I don't know where to put it all when I'm checking out. Next is the payment method. I usually pay with my Walmart phone app. That is one of the surprisingly convenient things about this store and I do appreciate that feature in the app. The problem always is when you have to show the person at the door your receipt. They are supposed to be trained to scan the barcode that shows on your phone that will give them the information on your purchases. None of the people (usually seniors) that work the door ever have scanned the barcode and instead they want to look at my phone. I've asked them if they could scan it but they don't know what I'm talking about. And with the covid climate these days everyone is extra cautious well it never fails that one of the people in particular at the door always wants to touch my screen of my phone to to scroll and see the items. That's a big no no for me. I was there today and so was that one particular person that always wants to touch the screen of my phone and she tried to go for my phone. I pulled it away and I scrolled it for her. She really didn't even look at anything and just waved me through. Even just getting to her to look at my receipt was a bit of an ordeal as I had to wait and another long line just to do that. As much money as Walmart makes, you would think they would have at least a couple of people working the doors and have all the available registers and proper working order. They make so much money off of us so much, yet this particular Walmart which is my regular Walmart is going downhill. What the heck is the problem? Like I said, Walmart makes so much money why can't they have the store proper working order and also have their employees trained just a little bit better? It would make things so much better for all of us who spend so much money there on a regular basis. read more

Don't come here if you're in a hurry or expect to leave with what's on your shopping list because lines are ridiculously long and everything is always out of stock. Complaining about it is pointless though because all Walmarts are like this. At least this one is clean. Oh and check the expiration dates on deli items. Overall the place stays pretty clean, the lines dont get too long especially with the numerous self checkout options. i can also usually get help pretty quick and being a super store they have just about anything i need with a pretty good deal. read more

2 stars for other employess who are super nice. How am I supposed to know that I have to get a return sticker at the door for returning???? Wtf?? The lady at Customer Service acted like it was my fault for not getting the sticker. I did even apologize for not knowing that. I had the earphones on when I entered the shop so i could have not heard from the guy at the entrance if he happened to ask about my items. I didnt mind walking back to get the sticker but the lady showed me the attitude and RUDELY grabbed my items heading to the entrance without saying a word. I have been shopping here for a hundred times and this Walmart has become my favorite but this was the first time I got pissed off and first time ever heard about a FANCY return sticker. If I could give this Super Walmart in Chino 0 stars I would. This is the first time and last time I had ever been to this Super Walmart. The place is insanely busy and I found the prices to be just OK. You can save just as much money with coupons and specials at Von's or even much more at Winco. The service at Super Walmart was unbelievable terrible. Slow, could not find anyone and once you did, no one knew where anything was. This is the absolutely worst grocery store I have ever been to. Even small neighborhood stores or a 7-11 is better than this place. It does not deserve to be in business as it has no clue what customer service is. read more

Walmart supercenter, I don't think so. They way the store is run is a joke. I used to go to the deli for meats but with only thing in the store dropping like hours of operation and quality of service I had to go elsewhere for deli items and even though it may cost more at least I actually get what I need. Their hours use to be open til 8 then 7 then 6, and now the latest is whenever they get tired of working I guess. I was told she had to clean up and didn't have time to help me. It's funny though they have plenty of people to stand around and do nothing or talk on their cell phones like the supposed manager I was directed to, who ran behind the service desk and decided to make some personal calls on her personal cell phone. Customers have to use self checkout, bag their own groceries if you pay for a bag. And then they have the nerve to ask to see your receipt. Seriously if you're so worried about getting ripped off then do your job like the good old days. I honestly don't know what they're paying all these people for, it's obviously not to do their job. Whoever is running that Walmart should be embarrassed because I would not want to say I was running that store. Do Walmart customers a favor and quit so maybe they'll hire someone that knows how to run a store. After a blank stare I was told in a badly broken English way to go to customer service. After seeing the extremely long line and only one person behind the counter I decided to go pull the items I was charged for and call it a day. With all the workers standing around doing nothing and such poor quality service you would think they'd have a task force at that counter. honestly, other than being a little cheaper than target.. & of course being 24 hours, I only resort coming here late at night if I really need something, ie baking, crafts & whatnot but even if it's cheaper I still prefer target since its a lot cleaner, friendly/helpful envirnment, closer to home & not to mention that during restock hours it's an itch trying to maneuver your cart around. I've been to a lot of great Walmarts, but this is certainly not one of them. My mom swears by the fruit and veggies she buys at Walmart back at home, but at this location almost every fruit I picked up had some spoiled parts at the bottom. None of it was fresh, and I tried FIVE different fruits. I was also not a fan of the selection, for food and regular items. The Walmart seemed very bare and didn't have anything I was looking for. They don't know their own address. I needed a certain paint that says it was available at 3943 Grand Ave. location. I asked the person at the paint department and she looked at me with one of those doubtful frowning eyebrows. She says they don't carry that brand, I asked, "Is this 3943 Grand location," and she said no, and said 3946. Been a resident of Chino Hills area for close to 20 yrs and she actually made me doubt myself. I thought there is another Walmart nearby that I don't know of. LOL! Went home google mapped it and yes indeed, I was at the 3943 location in the same plaza with Best Buy, Pier 1, etc. I guess this lady just wanted to get rid of me and didn't want to go look for my paint. read more

This Walmart is a 24 hour Supercenter which has its perks...who doesn't want to have the option of buying meat for dinner, shoes for church, and paint at 1 am? i go to this walmart regularly,u can find good bargains, but I must say they have the worst customer service, never have I ever had an employee offer me assistance. I usually have to try to hunt down someone for help and when i do find someone they act like their being bothered when u need help. This is actually a really nice Walmart. They had some yummy samples of Bai drinks which are so good. They even added some fresh fruit for extra flavor. Also, there self checkout actually works well! I don't really like Walmarts, but I will come back to this one because it is so nice. read more
