I can get pretty much anything from this store, plus, it's walking distance from our home, but omg customer service needs work. The staff walking around doesn't acknowledge you even when you look like you need help. I pressed the so-called "happy to help" button TWICE! waited for around 10min......NOBODY CAME......i had to call customer service, tell them where i'm at, informed me they'll send someone over.....waited for another 7min. still NO ONE CAME, so i just left the store. read more

If you're black you will be scrutinized throughout checkup and while leaving. Last two times there they either shut off my lane or accused me of trying to steal whilst paying at the cashier. If you're black they'll read your receipt as if you stole that too. Eh, It's Walmart. This is usually my last resort shopping place. But, I like that they are open 24/7, so that way I can avoid crowds if I must go here. Prices are not that much lower than Target, some things I've seen are the same or cost more actually. And besides, most big retailers price match each other for same exact, in stock items. This particular location is convenient, pretty clean and organized, the employees are there but they will not really go out of their way to help you. You pretty much have to flag someone down if you have a question or can't find what you're looking for. I have been shopping here more lately, but online... The only reason is because I can get up to 10% cash back sometimes by using the Samsung app/Samsung Pay. I'm all about making those dollars strrrrettch, know wut ahm sayin? Its already enough of an inconvenience for everything to be locked up and majority of workers just seem so lousy. The worst !! Very disrespectful people . The manager Jesus needs to really take care of the people that work here ! Also it's not right to close your doors a whole hour early and just leave one side open. Lots of people had parked where it open and no one was able to go out due to that . Pros: A lot more employees if you need help finding something Decent size parking lot not really shared with any other stores Good markdowns on deli food. Cleaner than most Supercenters - Night and day compared to the one in downtown Chula Vista Employees are Super friendly! Few cons here any this is just to nitpick Cons: They tend to have less registers open and rely on the self serv machines. This has to be the worst Walmart in the area bar none. I have lived here since this was built and each and every time I go to that store. The level of customer service continues to decline. Today, I stood in the aisle, waiting to buy eye drops in the case for 35 minutes. Every associate that I asked could I get some help they told me? Sorry, sir, I don't have the keys. One even had the nerve to tell me to go find the customer service manager instead of calling for 1 or trying to find one. The first thing that came to mind when I walked into this Walmart was "huge!" This location is definitely one of those warehouse types, that also carry groceries and all the other items that most Walmarts carry. I specifically came in the buy some disposable razors and shaving gel. However, as usual, I left with more than I bargained for. I noticed they had a great price on my favorite oat meal so I picked up several boxes of it, and yes, I do eat at home sometimes, but mostly I eat the oatmeal at work in the mornings. 2 stars because no matter what time of day it is the lines are backed up to the toys expect to wait at least 20 mins to get checked out. Then when your done I guess they want to check every single receipt like this isn't Costco go some where with that. So not only you have to wait to buy your groceries you have to also wait for a receipt check.They need to open up a line for where it's 20 items or less for cash only as well as card. Also have more sups helping out the newer teammates lights be blinking and nobody helps them. Also CHECK your food before you buy seen a few times of moldy bagels and fruits just sitting there containing everything else. read more

So, I had a hard time understanding the adverse reviews until a couple days ago. I needed to make a simple jewelry return and as usual, the counter was unmanned. I noticed someone and waited. Finally a woman showed up and when I said it was a return she said she couldn't help and that the usual girl would be back from break in about 30 mins. Um, okay? Y'all really don't have other trained staff to cover each other during breaks? I really wonder what happens when someone gets sick, jeez. Anyway, I shop around and return about 40 mins later and still no one. Finally 10 mins later the same lady shows up telling me no one can help. After I tell her it's ridiculous and just a return and ask if I can just go to customer service and do it there, she agrees to do it herself. I'm perplexed. I'm glad SOMEONE did it - the point isn't who, the pint is, no one here gives a flying hoot about your time or customer service. This whole debacle could've been avoided had she agreed to in the first place. I added an additional star because this location is clean and organized. I've been in Chula my whole life and I only ever have poor things to say whenever I visit this Walmart. Today specifically was bad, as usually the service is not terrible and there are the very few nice people that work here, but when checking out, a worker was urging me specifically to come to a new register she is opening up. I was already putting my things on the belt when a different, rude worker came up, made me remove my things from the belt and had another person from the previous line go instead of me. Even when the other person was made to go before me, they were taken aback and said I could go as I already had half my cart on the belt, but I was already embarrassed and was in the process of removing my things, so I just let her go. I understand the reason for the mix up, but she did not even apologize for the inconvenience. Like I said, I only come here when very very necessary, and I always have bad experiences. Walmart has the Worst delivery service ever. They do not notify customers when orders are determined to be late for delivery. Once you call to get some type of update the customer service rep are very rude. The Agent I spoke with hung up on you without providing some type of update. They are timely when it comes to taking out your monthly subscription fee but not providing a timely service. I go to this location all the time... It's a supercenter walmart, so it has anything and everything (groceries, electronics, cosmetic/toiletries, home/garden)... They also have optometry and a Subway connected. This location (including subway) is open 24/7. As always, prices are generally cheaper here at walmart than at other stores. They also have site to store pickup.. So if you order anything online, have it delivered here to avoid shipping fees (I've done this a few times with no complaints). This walmart is generally pretty clean. Always busy, I try to go in the mornings before the rush... Huge parking lot, gets full at times too.. read more

Ordered 1-hour holiday photo cards online that were to come with envelopes. However, when I arrived at the store, I was told they ran out of the envelopes. I couldn't help but feel a little frustrated and disappointed. Spoke with the manager Donetta and she got creative -- she found some CD envelopes with the Walmart logo and offered them as a possible solution. Though those envelopes were not perfect, I truly appreciated her willingness to help. If I had to give a review on Donetta's customer service alone it would be 5 stars. I used their new feature on the Walmart app. You scan your purchases using your phone and they you can check out at the self serve register, by scanning your phone. I never had in issue before, but this last time somehow I scanned an item 3 times, I didn't notice it until The next day, because I needed to return a item that didn't work. I went to customer service and the woman who helped me said "I can't help you with that!! We will have to go back and look at the camera footage to see if you really purchased this." I told her that I did purchase the item however it was scanned three times, I just want to get my money for the two charges that were an accident. She told me that they did not have a scan and go feature, I showed her my app and the receipt that I had from the scan and go purchase which is on my phone. She told me that she doesn't know what I'm talking about, and can We just return the broken item. She was speaking to me in a very rude manner so unfortunately I too became rude. Then a supervisor came to tell her something, then she told the supervisor she's trying to Get money back for something that she claims was scanned three times. I turned to the supervisor and told her that I had used the new app for Walmart the scan and go feature. She then looked at the cashier and said yes you can return it. After the supervisor left she then looked at me and said well I just needed to ask permission, I told her that's not what you said to me, you said that you could not do it and you didn't know what I was talking about. Then she said to me no that is not what I said! I told her well let's go back to the camera and see what was said and how you reacted to me and then you can tell me the truth. They need to be more proactive with their sales associates so that they know what new features are on their own company's app. Instead of having people that are completely in the dark and tell you wrong information causing an interaction that didn't have to happen and tempers didn't have to get flared. read more

The wackiest place for a job interview I got called in by three separate coaches first coach was Claudia was 15-25 minutes and was so upfront and kinda rude in the way she was talking to a future employee second coach Claudia never showed for the interview and third coach Randy was the nicest but couldn't figure out a computer issue which hampered my hiring Item selection sucks in store and honestly needs a readjusting as simple nano or alien tape is sold here for $15 -15ft when other places have $10 - 30ft That's one of the many price gouges that makes this place wack in my opinion read more
