My husband carries a water proof bag that he uses for a guy purse. The employee told him he couldn't bring it into the store. We asked to see the manager and she "allowed" him to enter with the bag. Another gentleman at the customer service area as he was leaving the employee hollered "it doesn't matter to us". This all happened within 5 minutes of entering the store. I guess this Walmart doesn't teach their employees that WE pay their wages. I totally understand that with the covid virus things are crazy but manners both with us as customers & employees are necessary. The store was poorly stocked and very unorganized. Two checkouts open at 10am. We've moved from Santee but will continue to shop there since the Santee Walmart cares about their customers. read more

This is one if the worst stores I've been in. The aisles are overcrowded with product blocking the path for carts and customers. The employees stock shelves at the busiest times blocking the aisles even more by leaving their carts in the way and not to the side. Employees are very unprofessional except for the cashiers. The entrance smells of rotten eggs constantly. A year ago this store was fine but its going downhill fast. read more

My sister in law has worked in health care for over 20years. She was in billing. My brother who is an ex employee of walmart in another state. He had several strokes and cannot work. We are working together to take care of him. The complaint is the Pharmacy on Camino Canada in El Cajon Ca. Billed medical for 6 prescriptions and Sister only picked up 4. Now my Brother has to pay out of pocket because hes over his prescriptions limit. Hello people this is a disabled man!! we have contacted Corporate on this issue. My Sister has not received any help from the pharmacy staff or the manager. .In fact when she called them about the mistake instead of researching and correcting the mistake the pharmacy woman was talking over her. I was in the same room. My sister called medical they told her yes walmart billed 6 prescriptions. When my sister called the store manager today he told her basically thats a lie and not what I show. She has the proof from medical. We are contacting the fraud department of southern california. If they are doing this to us imagine the amount of people that this is happening to. My heart goes out to those people being ripped off who dont understand medical billing. I love, love LOVE Walmart. It's one of my favorite places to go for clothes and other things needed for cheap (over the counter medicines). I always find something when I come here. Well, lets face it, my shopping cart is usually full when I'm done. I have to try on a million cute things (usually tops) and I love looking through their purses (my black faux leather crocodile bag is my favorite). I love their jewelry and I have several pieces that look like something I paid a lot of money for at Macy's. Nice selection of everything to choose from. It's usually always clean and neat when I go in to Walmart and everybody is always so nice. My SO loves Walmart as well and always finds nice Dockers pants and all sorts of neat things. So this is a place to find everything needed at a low cost, but doesn't look low cost. Really, why pay more if you don't have to? read more

The staff here are horrible. They're always rude and seem to be on drugs because they can't hold still for 2 seconds. They are never stocked with anything. I only go here because it's right up the street from my house and there isn't another super store for miles. read more

I go over there once in a while, but the most annoying thing about this store is the overcrowded, blocked walkways, and why are the employees stocking are running over the customers?. Thats my main gripe with this store, too much junk blocking the traffic flow!. Then we have people with the scooters, families with a bunch of little children and people on their phones. I really hate writing bad reviews but this really ticks me off so I must share. My brother received a Charger sweatshirt as a Christmas present. It was too small so I went to return it but was told it couldn't be returned without a receipt nor could I get store credit because Charger items are no longer available in the store. (Seasonal, I guess) I would have to wait till next year to return it when Charger items comes back into the store. I have never heard of anything so ridiculous!!! If I could do negative stars I would need a few. The Oil Change Department at the Camino Canada WalMart damaged my car to the point that I had to have it towed from there home and find a mechanic to repair the damage they did. And they would have to investigate if they would be able to reimburse us for the damages they did to my (before they touched it) perfectly running car. On Saturday afternoon Apr. 12, my 18 year old daughter took her car to Walmart for an oil change as she does every 3 months. On arriving home there was an oil leak in our driveway about the size of a paper plate. Her 22 year old brother noticed it and told her. The next morning she showed her dad, now there is another bigger leak under the car. He tells her to take the car back to Walmart, this is less than 24 hours after her oil change. So my daughter took her car back to Walmart with her grandfather to help. This is how Walmart deals with this situation. They told my daughter that they see that it is leaking oil, and had a mechanic look at the car. Grandpa heard the mechanic ask another mechanic "what this extra thread is" when he took out the oil plug!!! The mechanic deemed the car "undriveable". Walmart would NOT keep the car at their automotive bay to repair whatever caused the leaking oil from the repair less than 24 hours earlier. Now my daughter was told to have the car towed (at her expense) back to our home, presumably to leak the oil they put in the day before all over MY driveway. We were then told Walmart will review video of the oil change and submit a form telling what the mechanic saw when we returned the oil leaking car, and that we have to wait for the claims department to see what is covered, if anything. (The number they gave me is to a closed office.) I spoke with the assistant manager Pam (she could not give me her last name). I originally asked to talk to the store manager but was told that at this time there is NO store manager at this location (hmmm??!!) Pam said I should get the car repaired at my expense and wait to see what the claims department decides! So just be prepared if you get your oil changed at Walmart. This is my daughters first car and she has been taking such diligent care of it and now we get the car back from Wal Mart broken down! They literally broke a perfectly running car and just want us to walk away and take care of it at our own expense. The car was leaking oil just hours after their oil change, so obviously something happened during the oil change, but they would not address anything, other than to tell us to tow our car (that they now deemed undriveable) home, get it repaired, and wait and see!! NICE!!! MY ADVICE: DON'T GET YOUR OIL CHANGED AT WALMART!!! EVER!!! read more

I visit this store on average once each week. They usually have what I need at a really good price. The place is reasonably clean (for how busy they are). Employees are nice and generally professional, although I've overheard employee gossip on more than one occasion. I typically use the self check-out and most of the time there are several machines that aren't working. I'm not sure if this is because they get beat up or if its due to a lack of maintenance, but it can slow things down when it gets really busy. Overall they deliver on what you expect, but they do not exceed expectations. read more

I wrote a review a couple day ago on the service I received, My wife and I were waiting in line to check out , there were only three check out lane open . A manager came over and told use that the Twenty or less lane just opened and that you don't have much over 20, so we proceeded to the check out and put our groceries on the counter and the checker and someone else who wasn't a manager came and told us that we couldn't use this line. We told her that the manager told us to use this line, I ask her what do you want us to do take our groceries off the conveyor she said yes, I then got mad and told the wife leave the groceries and let's go and I left. My wife stayed and argued with the Checker and the manager saw what was happening and came over and told the checker that he told us to come to that line. The checker apologized to my wife and told her to tell me she was sorry, but for me it's to late she embarrassed me, I'm Seventy years old and will not be setting foot in that store again. When a company and their employees think that they're to big and important to care about their customers and their Company can't fail, I say ask Kmart what happens with that mind set. read more

My husband and I always go grocery shopping at this location. The service has always been top-notch when we need it and it's nice to be greeted when you walk in. Two of our favorite associates are Geoffrey(sp?) in Electronics and Robert up at the front. They both have such great attitudes and are always super friendly! We always look for them while we are in the store, even if we don't need their help it's nice to see them and say hello. The other team members are great as well! We've never had any issues shopping here and we always look forward to coming back. The lines can be a bit long at times, but that tends to vary with the seasons and time of day. It's understandable and I have noticed more lanes will open up to accommodate the evening rush. Overall, this is a great store and I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area! (n_n) read more

I have gone to the Auto Center 3 times in 3 weeks trying to get a simple oil change. I arrive each time about 8:00 a.m.. Every single time there might, might be 3-4 cars ahead which is fine. However the ETA for my car is 2-3 hrs, " sorry we are under staffed, and we have a tire issue that we need to handle before the oil changes" Same excuse for the last 3 weeks in a row. REally, hire some damn help if your so busy, you losing money. Not sure who is running this Sh-- show but what you are doing is not working. You just lost a customer for life. I don't get all the bad reviews if you really don't like it here don't shop here. I'm really into saving money so I'm here twice a week I buy everything here except for meats don't ask me why but the meat department freaks me out. I shop for everything here we are a family of four and say we spend between 600 dollars to a thousand here a month. As for yelp reviews saying custmor service isn't great have some compassion on people working here for ten dollars a hour if that in a crazy busy store and ask yourself when the last time you had to work all week and only pick up a $376.00 pay check. Tire center review: they are the absolute WORST! Just had 4 new tires installed. First time I've had tires installed on my vehicle and every single wheel had scratch marks and chips!!! That's not the worst of it - they tried covering it up with black marker!!! Guess what?!! Marker shows up purple against black wheels! To make matters worse they denied it - checked cameras and couldn't see anything. Hmmmm. No efforts to make it right. Not only did my vehicle leave in worse condition than we left it, but it's now OUR problem in which we have to file a claim and go through the process. They will neglect your vehicle and work in the most careless conditions. DO NOT TRUST THEIR SERVICE! read more

It's a WAL-MART, what you'd expect. Pro: its open 24 hours and has a large meat/produce section. Con: after 11 they pull out tons of pallets to restock the store and there's so much crap everywhere its hard to walk around, let alone with a shopping cart. After 11pm its hard to find stuff and the store is full of crackheads. But: if you MUST go buy the aqua teen hunger force colon movie film for theatres at 2am, its your place! I've gone to this Walmart for ten years or so. Not only have I never had a problem here, but I find it to be one of the best Walmart's I've been in on every level. In fact, the former manager used to stop in a coffee shop I used to frequent and we learned this store was so successful and smooth-running that he was asked to set up other So Cal stores like he did here. I assume he's been promoted to a regional position or something. Great guy. Some of the complaints I've seen here are probably legit, but others are extremely petty or intentional attacks. Rene L., Evan H., Ron Ulysses Swanson are obviously moles for the potentially worst, slimiest corporate monster on the planet - Target. They and others have certainly posted negative reviews on other Walmarts while plugging their dirty employer. I'm disgusted with this kind of dirty work and viciousness. Great store. This store has a race issue if your white your able to leave the store without your receipt being checked you are smiled at and given a wave of love have a nice day.........but if you are a part of the rainbow you better get your receipt out or the stores employee which is part of the color contribution to this country will make sure your outright discriminated. I went to this location today walked around to see what this store has to offer when checking out at self checkout I proceeded to walk out after purchasing my items I observed thee employee checking the customer receipt and a white American male about 60 years old had a cart full of stuff this women employee did not even ask to look at his receipt sitting on her stool but made sure she jumped out of her seat to check mine, I told her my friend has the receipt right behind me but she started to try to insinuate and practically grabbing my purchase items out my hands I started to point out she has not checked the customer before me receipt but yet since I am a minority you think I would steal she said with a smirk it's my job... apparently Walmart teaches their staff to racially profile... I ask to speak to her manager she directed me to this young white make and he blow me off in a sarcastic way told me have a great day and rolled his eyes with no concern... if I were a customer going to this establishment I will never step back in this store or this corporation it's time to get rid of this corporate pollution companies that still practice racism And by the way as I mention the women was of Mediterranean race. No matter how much money you make and how great you look you will always be profiled this has to stop. #mylifematters. This review is on the customer service. I fully understand why they couldn't return my item. So first walking up in the return isle the "customer service" help at the desk her name was DEE was very very rude from the beginning, I showed her the item I needed to return and she begins speaking very loudly about the item I'm returning saying "no we won't return this no not at all" "nope. No returning this item " when I stated oh ok well I did call in ten min ago and spoke with someone at this item to make sure and she said I could but before I even was able to finish my sentence she rudely and loudly interpreted saying " it don't matter, I don't care. You can call all you want and speak to a manager on a phone it doesn't matter. You came in and I'm telling you no even with your receipt" which again I understood and wasn't speaking rudely or anything but she took it upon herself to start this whole conversation with poor customer service so she never tried to return it she called a manager because she said "a manger will be able to return it not me" and no manager came to speak with me she told her what I was returning, then she came back over to me and said " like I said no you can't return it" and walked away. Over all again I fully understand that I wasn't able to return the item and would of been fine the first time she said it loudly but she repeatedly had to say it very rudely and loudly which is why I'm writing yelp about DEE at the customer service desk VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
