This location has the worse grocery pickup service ever! I've tried them all in McKinney since 2013! I've waited over 2 hours for my groceries numerous times! They are either accepting too many pickups or not staffed properly! Tonight I got there at 5:34 and left at 6:51 and that was quick for them. I did have to get edgy with one person and go in and ask for a manager to go help them. My slot was 5-6. My sons slot was 6-7. His order wasn't done processing until 6:45 and he just left finally at 8:45! Him and 10 others went inside to see what was going on and guess what they stop the pickup at 8 so the employees left! So employees from another area had to come help everyone. Don't to grocery pickup from here! read more

They are never stocked. Half the time we are stuck in the self checkout waiting on getting our change back. They even once made us cancel our purchase just to check and see if we stole anything. The staff is rude, was looking for chopsticks for my boyfriend's birthday present and the lady stocking the aisle couldn't be bothered, just a bad attitude over one simple question. Food in the produce area is stale and tastes like it's past it's expiration date. Point being don't waste your time or money here, go to the Walmart in Anna or Plano. read more

Bought an HDMI cord on clearance, that I found out later that it didn't work. Apparently Walmart sells a product even if it is defective because I had to pay full price for a replacement cord. Worker tried to tell me the cord wasn't defective. read more

The manager of the pick up order is very rude. Her name is jasmine and she was not helpful at all and did not help answer my questions.

If you want to feel like a criminal shop at this Walmart. You can't exit without showing your receipt. I will gladly start paying extra to show at Kroger and not be treated like I stole something. Never again to this location! read more

I have been shopping here for years and I am regularly disappointed by out if stock items. I can be pretty sure every time I go they will be out of something on my list. Also, very understaffed resulting in long wait lines. read more

This is absolutely the worst Walmart ever. No cashiers it's all "scan and go" which means you have to download the ap and scan all your own groceries. (So customers do the work!) get to the register where supposedly you just scan your phone and pay and out of 10 Times it's worked maybe twice. Terrible store! Terrible ap! read more

Typical Wal-mart. Customers can be kinda seedy. Employees are 'so-so.' I never visited the pharmacy, or the sandwich shop at the front. The crowds are what annoy me the most at this place. Some of the customers are rude, and pushy. At night the people in the parking lot are kinda creepy looking. I don't like going out alone. Besides that, their food is well stocked. read more

no way jose!! never again. let me tell you! ok so i moved into a new place and you always like to buy things to make it your own. this is what i was going through. so i figured why not go to my favorite mega store website (while i was at work) it was a win win i get to see what they had and i am killing time a work. i was looking around and saw a bunch of things that i liked and just so happens the site said that it was not in my local walmart but in stock and could be shipped so i said why not...so i was clicking and clicking and clicking away and went to the check out and saw how much i was about to spend and decided that the order needed to loose a little weight and i would just get the majority of the items the next time around. so i only got two things i wanted. the cheap vac cleaner and the garbage can that i had a while back that opens on its own. Just so happen after work i decided to go see what the local walmart had in the kitchen department just to browse and i was passing a isle and WHAT DO I SEE!!??? the same cheap vac online instore that walmart.com said my local walmart didn't have! so at that point i like out a big sigh like you have got to be kidding me and replyed back to the confirmation page that they sent me when i place the order saying if i needed anything changed to reply back. i sent an email thru my phone while standing infornt of the cheap vac saying cancel the vac order because i was just going to get it now and be done but i wanted to keep the garbage can order. so i went ahead and bought it. about a week rolls by and i wake up to check emails (my routine) and WHAT DO I SEE??!! a email from walmart.com saying the garbage can couldn't be fulfilled and we have cancled the order. they didnt give me a option to ride it out or nothing they just told me what they was going to do. and on top of that they said the cheap vac order was being processed to ship. so when i got to work i called the customer service number in the email and said what are you talking about THE SAME DAY I PLACE THE ORDER I CANCELED THE CHEAP VAC. she say well we get tons and tons of emails and we probably just didn't make it to your email in time!!! i wanted to say so bad is that my problem walmart didn't hire enough goofs to work? but i didn't i was more so upset that their website is wrong all the way around. 1. they said the local store was out of stock and those ppl had a whole shelf full of el cheapo vacs (and on top of that when the other vac came in from them they didn't even put it in a bigger box they just shipped it and stuck a label on the original box) how embrassing like i wanted everybody to know i was bugeting for a cheap vac. 2. the site said that they had garbage cans in stock that could be shipped but then i get a email saying they couldn't fulfill the order therefore cancled. Poor customer service. The employees are unprofessional and unappreciative of their job. I only had a few things to buy so I decided id go here since it's closest to my house. I will never do that again. I'll continue to drive to a farther location to get the service I expect as a customer. Serious management issues here. read more

This is the typical Walmart. The positive part is that they usually have what I need and are never usually out of stock on much. The negatives are that they never have enough lanes open no matter what time of day it is and their customer service leaves much to be desired. Sometimes you can see some shady looking people hanging around at night. read more

I have never written a review before but felt I needed to say something after purchasing spoiled fresh chicken from this nasty store this weekend. I noticed that most of their packages were marked down in price for quick sale so stayed away from those and chose 2 packages of Tysons boneless breasts with an expiration date of 9/30. There were very few to choose from with dates not expiring within 1 day (maybe 3 or 4 pkgs at the most) but thought since I chose the ones marked 9/30 it would be safe. Needless to say when I got home and unpackaged them they smelled sour. I will never shop at this store again. read more

The only thing this location has going for it is its fairly close proximity to my house. Went in there yesterday and decided to stop at the deli for some fried chicken for dinner. I opted to choose the eight pieces which was plastered above the counter on not one but two huge posters. I had to wait in line but hey I figured the benefit of not cooking was worth it. So I waited. And I waited.....finally the one person who was actually doing something behind the counter finished with the person ahead of me and I stepped forward and politely ordered only to be told that I had to walk to the OTHER END OF THE STORE to pick up a PREPACKAGED container of chicken. WHAT????? I stood in line waited my turn and now you tell me that you can't sell me some of the chicken that is right there within your reach but that I have to truck my tired behind all the way to the end of nowhere to get the same item from under the heat lamp? REALLY? I almost laughed when I asked if this nitwit behind the counter was serious. She was. Moral of the story....it makes no difference if there is a billboard advertisement for something right over the logical location for an item....never assume things can be that easy in the land of the blue box store. In comparison with other Wallmarts this one has extremely poor customer service through the entire facility. The management staff does not appear to care about their customers when attempting to resolve concerns. I will choose another Wallmart to go to rather than return here. read more

Arrived in search of a particular "high demand" Lego Star Wars set only to find that this store's inventory for that item had become depleted almost instantly (no surprise.) Mark, the GM, took personal ownership of my quest to provide my eight year old nephew with the toy he much desired as a birthday present. Mark enlisted the friendly and capable assistance of Ed who located the set at another store, contacted that store on my behalf, and arranged for that store to hold it for me for pick-up. THAT'S REAL ABOVE AND BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE! Mark and Ed may not realize it but the smiles on their faces as they worked a solution translated directly to the big one on my nephew's.
