As I'm sure everyone mentions in their review, you can find anything and everything at Walmart. This locations has a McDonalds very conveniently within the store. Since it is surrounded by several hotels, it is constantly full of tourists but I think that's one reason I like going to this Walmart. Tourist = happy people :) read more

There's nothing different about this one other than it's in the tourist area therefore it's a little better maintained. It would help tremendously to list Wlmrt Money Store hours. Yeah, each store varies, however I've called Wlmrt, ask to be connected with money center, and they gave me the STORE HRS. (happened twice, was picking up W2W wire, via cab, and had to walk home, 6miles, at night) Forget asking who answers the main #; they're lucky to know their last name. It became such a problem, it's well worth to just use Western Union. You spend only a few dollars more NOT using Wlmrt 2 Wlmrt, you have more choices, and no time constraints..... or loooong lines and one person working . Another thing, forget buying their prepaid debit cards, especially Green Dot. What a scam! I used one at hotel, they charged me double, and I lost $400.00. The pharmacist rips off tourists at the Turkey Lake location. We had a very sick five year old diagnosed with infuenza at a nearby Urgent Care clinic. We took the Tamiflu prescription to this particular Walmart because it was within walking distance. The medicine cost $345.00. The female pharmacist, with her thick Indian accent, said our prescription coverage wasn't very good, so, we just paid for it; just wanted to get the miserably sick child back to the hotel. Turns out that she never submitted to insurance. The child's mother had to contact the pharmacy for information to submit the claim. A woman with an Indian accent in the pharmacy put her on hold for almost 15 minutes. Child's mother hung up and called back. Same woman answered. When child's mother idetified herself the call was immediately disconnected (hung up on her)! Management has been contacted and have been helpful so far toward getting the documentation for insurance to get reimbursement. I personally am not a fan of Walmart due mostly impart to how dirty this store is and the inability to prove proper staffing at all times. However, against my better judgment I stopped in this location tonight on my way home about 2am. I grabbed what I needed and went to check out. Only to find they only had 3 registers open upfront. Awful! Chaotic store full of rude employees. Yes it's over run with tourists and some are jerks, but I'm from a tourist beach town and our employees don't act like the ones here. If I could give negative stars I would. Consistently the WORST shopping experience I have ever had. The first time I came in I walked up to a group of managers employees one of which was a manger and after they were done talking I asked if they carried hard alcohol since I had only seen an isle dedicated to wine, several of them LOOKED AT ME and the walked away. I'm not exaggerating I started my question because I thought since we'd made eye contact I had their attention but...I guess not. The second person I found told me they had no idea and to find someone else. The third person called me sweetie and told me she didn't know but "probably not". Just now I left my cart less than 10 feet away to go grab some apples, they never have any produce bags and I needed a bunch so I walked away for less than 2 mins and when I came back my FULL cart with all my reusable bags was GONE and when I asked the employee who had been standing a few feet away from it she LITERALLY said " I don't know, leave me alone. I don't know." I wish I was making this up. I then proceeded to try and finish my list of produce items to find that at 2pm on a TUESDAY they were out of 3 of 5 of them and would not be getting more for 2 days. I realize this review I makes me sound like a stuck up stay at home mom who wants to be treated like royalty but I promise that's not me, I wasn't rude to any of these employees despite being treated like crap and the items I was looking for weren't obscure or unusual. I was turned away from getting a tire a half hour before closing and the reason given to me was because "his shift is ending soon". All I needed was to know if they had my tire or not and no one would help me. I have bought many tires in my day and have never been treated like this before. Too bad Target doesn't sell tires. I been to many Wal Marts before and this will be by far the worst one I've been to. I visited this one because it was the closest one to the hotel I was staying at on my vacation to Orlando. Most if not all of the employees lacked a willingness to help and seemed rather miserable being there working. The ladies at the fitting rooms were the worst and the most unwelcoming and rude. I feel that a location such as this one which I could tell had a high amount of tourists shopping should demand a high level of customer service from their employees. Although it has never been known to get good service at any Walmart anyways. Wal Mart is a store you look at as a mega store but this one needs a real update ! The restrooms are unisex the layaway and customer service are one and this sore looks dingy and just not welcoming.The staff looks tired and this one was in Orlando so A/C is a must in here! Went to customer service to take care of something and the staff member was doing a layaway and the man in front of me was waiting a long time for her to come take care of his lottery tickets he won money on,yes you can cash your winning here also. She finally came over to him and it took less than 2 minutes so my turn came and as always when i'm in Florida,New York, and Jersey the 1st language they speak to me is Spanish !!! I am not a latino, but in certain parts of the country they seem to think I am. SO my transaction took about 2 mins also. To sum it up this location needs a grand remodel job,real soon ! read more

The staff is always incredibly unhelpful and rude, and despite this being one of the cleaner walmarts that I have visited I still feel obligated to give 1 star for the complete lack of customer service and quality. Most recently I encountered a VERY rude cashier named Pamala running the self checkout lanes. Horrible customer service. I witnessed their service desk team heckle a tourist about returning an item, because he didn't have his wife's credit card with him. Then the CSR finally explained to the gentleman (in Spanish... As it finally dawned on him there might be a language barrier) that he could opt for a gift card usable online or at any store. Now on to my experience. I had purchased an iPad out of state at a South Carolina store, to use for a cousin's wedding slideshow/presentation. In the meantime, I was able to get the iPad I had brought with me to work correctly after a botched software update. One of the service desk reps made it sound like I'd have to return it to the SC store. That's when I began to lose it. I told her that I would certainly not be driving to South Carolina to return an iPad. The manager refused to return it, as it was outside their 15 day window. Yet the iPad is still in the factory sealed box. That's when I told the manager this was the exact reason their stock plunged 10% recently, and stormed out. It's no wonder I avoid Walmart like the plague, and I'm sure this is one of many reasons their stock is falling. I would much rather pay a slightly premium price, than deal with their crap. Customers clearly don't come first, and corporate policies reign supreme vs empowering their employees to make decisions. read more

dont waist your time buying from this walmart or trying to get delivery from this store. it may cost you 10 dollars more to purchase from amazon or from publix supermarkets. at walmart they sell so much merchandise that 3-5 items out of 10 items you wont get. lets say you need 30 items from this walmart. you wont get at least 10 items you need. during slower months such as may you probably can get a delivery. the months of february march april june july august half of december and january are difficult months to get delivery. walmart gives millions of excuses to millions of customers. starting 1 week before superbowl cannot control their walmart business. i ask the walmart about how many orders do they have that they cannot deliver. walmart has hundreds of orders they cannot deliver sitting on the floor. walmart continues to stay understaffed so you are waisting your time to get a rare complete order. you will have to go to a nice store like publix where they have a slogan which is Where shopping is a pleasure. i think they came out with that slogan because walmart is truly a pain where you wont get 10 out of 30 items. on any weekend day there is a 30 percent chance you may get a delivery. what good is walmart if they dont deliver.if you want a guaranteed food delivery and you will pay more and just dont buy way overpriced items you will have to buy from the company that starts with the letter A read more

I was so Disappointed in the customer service or lack of at this Walmart. I've been to other Walmart and never had this bad of an experience. I approached 3 Walmart workers to help me find a beach umbrella that their website reported 4 in stock. The first worker tried but I could see he was assisting another customer so I went to another worker ( thought I'd be considerate to the other customer)! The second worker looked at me and mumbled that she couldn't help me. The third worker just pointed to the location of the umbrella's. I tried telling him I had already looked there and couldn't find them. He said nothing and kept walking. No smiles, No, may I help you, I'm sorry let me get another associate to help you, or anything kind or courteous. This Walmart needs to up there training in customer service big time! Oh Wal-mart...Oh Wal-mart where art thou your elusive staff manning your registers? Wait! I spot them congregating together in a corner ignoring all the customers. Walmart is the bane of my existence...especially during the holiday season. I make one stop at Walmart and that is at the store pick up register next to the smelly bathrooms. Let me describe the store pick up counter. McDonald cups are littered all over the counter along with opened canned soda behind the registers. There is NEVER anyone manning that register. I always find staff congregated in the electronics section by the iPads just chatting away. Even when I approach them and stand in front of them waiting to be acknowledged they continue to ignore me. Finally one makes eye contact and rolls her eyes. I inform them that I'm doing a store pick up. Female staff walks me up to the counter and glances around. She inquires if the any of the cups littering the counter filled with soda belongs to me. I say no. Female clerk scrunches her nose and mutters "gross" and toss the full cup into the trash. I offer a weak smile and wince. After ten minutes of waiting for the clerk to return with my package I book it out the store reminding myself to just order stuff via Amazon. read more
