I've asked multiple associates on multiple occasions for help looking for something or if they carry it at all and they just look at you like they don't understand. The stereotype of Walmarts only having one or two registers open at a time rings true at this location. Doesn't matter what time of day I come in. On vacation and this appeared to be a good area but goodness a horrible and scary experience. I am not normally a. Walmart shopper but goodness, so many trashy people, screaming and acting a fool which I am not accustomed too especially with my children around. Secondly a man ran his cart into our vehicle, in what appeared to be rage, looking for a fight. additional a man hiding by cement poles near the front of the store with a gash on his head. Oh but that's not it, additional individuals running around parking lot yelling and causing chaos. Sometimes you need a place that can check off most of the things on a 'to get list.' This Walmart Supercenter meets most of the things on my list. Windshield cleaner, dvds, soda, toys, bikes, motorized mini-bike [didn't buy it, wish I had!], cosmetics, bedding/linens, fresh produce, garden center, full grocery department with a great variety, pet products [even live fish!], baby department, hunting/fishing gear, seasonal/holiday items and more. This particular store is located in a highly populated area, and add to that, the huge number of tourists on I-drive, the store is busy all the time; the store is open 24/7 with the exception being certain holidays, which the store observes and gives their employees time off. Nice touch! This store is clean and well stocked. Sometimes it''s possible to even find something that's not on the 'to get list' and get it at a bargain price. I don't like to compare retail stores against each other, but in my opinion, Walmart Supercenter has much better prices than Target. A good example would be Progresso Soup. On average, it is 15 cents less at Walmart than Target. That is a similar comparison for soda, except the difference in price is 90 cents to over $1 less at Walmart, even when NOT on markdown/sale. This Walmart offers a great selection of entertainment and electronic products that are very competitive, even when compared to the 'big box' stores. All of this makes the store convenient and 'one-stop' shopping [well, almost], but I think what I value most about this store and the entire company is their outreach to the community. Walmart is known for their support of charities, more specifically, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which they have supported since the beginning of CMN in 1982/83 to present. It is very likely to find Walmart volunteers at many, if not most, fundraising events. Walmart is also present in times of trouble, such as hurricanes and such. I remember seeing the big 18-wheeled trailer from Walmart handing out water and supplies following a few big storms here, and following the 1994 Northridge earthquake, [we lived near the epicenter of that quake!]. Walmart showed up to offer help to those in need, and that speaks volumes to me. to Also, the store and company reach out to offer employment to people that may not otherwise have a job. The store employs people with a range of challenges. That's also something I find very special. The company appears to see the ABILITIES in people and not focus on anything else, just the possibilities of what one CAN do, not what the cannot do. All that said, YES, I am honored to shop here and will continue to do so; not for everything, but for many on my 'things to get' list. Sneak in to buy some great surprises, pack them in your bag for Disney and when you are waiting on the parade and your kid wants to purchase the whole park you will be able to open your bag of surprises!! I visited this store at the suggestion of a friend who says I should take advantage of the low prices Wal-Mart has to offer. So I did. This particular store is nicer than other Wal Marts I have visited in this city. There is no trashy parking lot. The store is clean and very organized, not cluttered. There is no annoying overhead music, and yes, the customers even dress appropriately here. Staff is ok. Not exactly friendly, but they don't have an attitude--which seems to be a lot to ask for, sadly. The store does not seem very crowded--at least during my time there. The overall feel and culture of this WM seems more my speed than other stores. I will definitely stop by again, even if the drive is a little further for me, it's worth it for a better shopping experience. While I am still not a fan, this particular store makes WM easier to stomach. read more

Arrived at 1:30pm from the Urgent-care across the street .... Pharmacy closed till 2pm - first in line, waited another 30 minutes to get the script filled. Ultimately 1 hour to fill a prescription. WM should come up with a plan to stagger shifts or something to avoid closing the pharmacy in the middle of the day in Orlando FL. Pharmacy tech and pharmacist behind the counter were not really concerned about the well being of the patients not the fact the we are waiting that long. Very disappointed!! read more

WOW. So far, this is the only Walmart store that I actually really like. In my 9 days vacation in the Orlando, Fl area, I must have visited this Walmart 3x! I wished we have one like this in my area. This Walmart is a HUGE one-stop shop. Souvenirs, grocery foods, clothes, knick-knacks, etc. They have it! Prices are always competitive too! Everything we needed we can find here. It's spacious, clean and organized (no crate boxes all over the place). Am I really in Wallyworld? My sister who is a loyal Target store consumer shopped here more than she did in Target. Lots of good stuff here for tourist. 24 hours open is also very convenient for us. We usually come here late at nights, after theme park hours. Most importantly, the people here are friendly and chatty. They actually like working here! Or are they just accustom to tourist? Like all Walmarts, this one is 24/7 and a mess most of the time. Seemingly no matter where one is, it's guaranteed to have the crazies at Walmart at any given time. The lines are a little quicker than other Walmarts in the area, but it's not my cup of tea to save maybe a dollar or two versus Target. I only stop by here when I'm in the area. read more

This store is very nice aesthetically on the inside. Possibly one of the nicest Wal-marts I've ever been in. It's obvious that this store caters to tourists, there are Mickey Mouse items EVERYWHERE!!! That's where my problem lies. I spent my shopping battling British tourists who were swarming everywhere, Brazillian tour groups doing chants, and the ever so cheaply made fake Disney souveneir at the end of every isle. If you're going to cater to tourists, and you know we get a lot of them then be prepared!! I have been to this store twice and the first time I waited 43 minutes to check out and the second time 27 minutes (yes I timed). Waiting would be acceptable if all resources were being used. I find a visit to any Walmart a foray into hell but this one in particular I have dealt with most recently so it tends to stand out the most. Yes it's usually always busy, rude tourists etc... Yes of course. But what can they control? Their customer service. My gf and I had a horrible experience here prior to Thanksgiving where we were trying to use coupons that her work had given her that could be redeemed for holiday-related foods such as ham/turkey or fresh fruits and vegetables. To make a long story short, they almost didn't honor the coupons and it was almost like a comedy routine how inept and disorganized the entire store operation was. Walmart.... Can you really give Walmart a stellar review? I frequent here a lot for my grocery needs after work, but I feel like any positive I can give has to have a "for a Walmart" disclaimer. The place is clean.. For a Walmart. The staff is friendly.. For a Walmart. Items are easy enough to find.. For a Walmart. Parking isn't too bad.. For a Walmart. The produce is fresh.. For a Walmart I can't really say I've had a negative or positive experience at this location. I go in with my list, grab everything I need, and head out. The biggest positive to Walmart is their General Tso chicken. If you've never had it, I recommend grabbing a bucket to take home for a quick meal. Nothing is wrong with this location. It's usually busy with tourists, but that's not really the store's fault at all. We love to shop at Walmart because is cheap clean and massive. Theres Customer No service and Security is laking particularly at this location. The thieves know that and believe us there are taking advantage of the situation. We have seen thieves leaving this location with Karts full of goods including large screens TVs, usually by the Pharmacy entrance. Alarming! We did adviced Management of such and they seemed to ignore this reality. Also, Customer service is No service. Something need to be done Walmart! or Management at this Present location do not care. Holy smokes! Welcome to the "city" of Walmart. 9pm on a Sunday night and this place is packed! They did have a good selection of goods to choose from, if you could navigate the carts and baby strollers in the aisle. I've never seen a Walmart this busy. We waited in line at the checkout for 30 min. They definitely needed to open more lanes. Short staffed this late at night so I'll shop somewhere else next time. I actually have enjoyed my experiences at this Walmart. I think the main reason is my expectations are correct for the Walmart Shopping experience. If you go into Walmart expecting to be treated like you just walked into Neiman Marcus, than you will be disappointed. They are pretty up front about the service you will receive and the shopping experience you will have, all in the name of low prices. So keeping that in mind, this location does its job and saves you a little money in the end. read more

-Update- After wasting tons of time Walmart finally resolved the matter. On top of the check for the damages we were given a $50 after asking for something further. Still not happy with the amount of work we had to do to get this rectified but I do understand things happen. _______________________________________________________________ The review is in regards to the Walmart auto department. My girlfriend and I went to this Walmart to get her oil changed. Upon return around an hour later we had to wait at the counter for over 20 minutes before anyone came out to us. We saw them working on her car still through the door with around 3 employees around her car. Anyway about 30 min of waiting on top of the hour they brought the car out and we were free to go. I jumped in my car and she jumped in hers and we departed. I got a call from her saying that she knew the reason why it took so long, the car handle just came off and was glued on. I understand mistakes happen but to make us take so much longer to wait on the car and be deceptive and try to glue the handle back on her vehicle is unacceptable. She woke up early that next morning to go back to this Walmart and waited a while to speak to the manager costing her to be late for work. They told her if she took it to her dealer and get an estimate they would send a check. She got the estimate for $78 and corporate said they would be sending that but they would not compensate her for her time and missed work and the overall inconvenience that the deceptive employee costed us that evening. It has been over a month and she has not received her check. When we call they put us on hold or say they will call back and they never do. It has been about a month now and she has not seen a check. If it was not for me paying for her door handle she would still be driving around without a handle on her inner car door because of Walmart. You would expect a company this size to take care of a customer who was basically lied to and cheated by their employee's. There was even footage proving our claim in their garage. I do not think a $25 or $50 gift card on top of the check would be to much to ask either. If we do not get answers this week we will then have to go to the BBB or seek further action. It is an okay Walmart. Not dirty at all. Clean and easy to look through. However, I am 100 percent sure there's something in their self check out machine that caused fraudulent transactions hours later on my bank account. I was in Florida June 1 to June 4th. Before then I did not use my bank card at all. I decided to use it 1x which was here at the Walmart closest to Westgate Resort. I used my card at the self check out and got cash back. Hours later about 3am there were 10 attempted transactions to my bank account for Dell, vitamins, Ritz Carlton. Thank goodness only 3 of the many attempts made it through and my bank is currently refunding my money back. The bank looked at the recent transactions and noted that this all occurred almost immediately after using the Walmart self check out TE#30. The reason for the two stars off is because I know this happened at Walmart. I only took my card outside of my carry on luggage that one time. Got in the car went straight to Walmart and got back in the car. I put the card back in my bag and that was it. There were no customers around or near me. There was no line at self check out. I was the only one there. The machine next to me was broken so no one was standing next to me to spoof my card. read more

This Walmart Supercenter has 0 respect for disabled people. Right now I am on crutches for an injured leg and foot and when I went to the family bathroom in the back I told the female janitor with the accent that I had to use the family one because my helper and I needed it because it's a struggle for me to use the restroom due to my injuries and she refused to move out of the way because she claimed that she wasn't done cleaning it. But I told her that if she didn't move that my bladder was going to burst. She still always pretending like she didn't understand what I was saying and just kept repeating that she was not done cleaning and I told her that if she didn't move the TVs going to have a whole lot more to clean on the floor. I eventually just walked right past her with my crutches into the bathroom because it was going to get all over the floor if I didn't. When I went to use the restroom while I was in there she kept knocking on the door and being obnoxious demanding I give her her broom and such that she forgot it in there but my helper had to leave to get things for me and I told her that, and then I could come to the door because my helper put my crutches on the far wall and I couldn't walk to the door without them. She still kept badgering me until I told her that she was just going to have to get my helper if she wanted her stuff back because I was not physically capable of handing it to her. When my help or return my helper handed her all of her stuff back as I asked. And at some point she and her little female friend were giggling and laughing about how I was taking too long in the bathroom and making fun of me and making a big scene about it which I heard the entire conversation through the door while I was on the toilet. It was not only childish but it was rude. Then she sends a gentleman to the door to shake the door and keep smashing the door repeatedly for every five seconds for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Being that I have organ damage it takes me a long time to use the restroom and I told her that as well as him and they kept being very rude. There was multiple bathroom stalls that they could've used because there was a woman's and men's room nearby both with handicap stalls. Eventually my helper went out and explained the situation and the gentleman still harassed my stall door smashing the door twice there after. A few of the times that he banged on the door he banged the door so hard I thought door was going to break off the post as it was bulging in. The situation was frightening to me because I am a domestic violence victim and the man was banging on the door as if he was going to beat the crap out of me. It terrified me and made me upset. I have never dealt with such a bad bathroom situation in my entire life... and the saddest part about it is these people were workers for Walmart that were harassing me... we even bought things in the store the same day so it wasn't like we were using the bathroom for free. I guess Walmart does not like domestic violence victims shopping in their store... thanks for letting me feel like a piece of trash that doesn't deserve to exist in Walmarts world. read more

I'm from NYC, so to get a Walmart this huge, you have to travel quite a distance. While visiting Orlando, I found this to be the go to spot. I was in Walmart Heaven, all the Disney souvenirs at terrific prices, from a full grocery section to a hair salon.. what more could a girl ask for? I come to this Wal-Mart because there's no Target close by and it's a huge store, so of course the selection is huge and they have everything you could need at a fairly lower price. Shopping here is damn near impossible though because it's a literal zoo, tons and tons of international tourists block the aisles and look at you like you're crazy when you say "Excuse me" or just try to squeeze by.
