I drove all the way from Southern California to see my mom that is it was in a major car accident a few days ago. I came to Walmart to see if they had a cart because I have a bad leg. The person told my daughter that no we don't have Carter we strip them for parts because they don't hold a charge. You have handicap people that can't walk through your department store to either buy groceries or buy clothes but you can't get a cart for us to sit in and shop I will never come back here. This is poor customer service and it is ridiculous. I told my daughter to leave we will go somewhere else. I will pay triple money never to come to back to this Walmart. We do not have this bullshit at California Walmart. You should be ashamed of yourself. Unprofessional of Walmart to do this to people with a disability. You should be ashamed of yourself because Sam Walton would never do this to anybody that walks through a Walmart store. The store in Reno, Nevada has the scariest people roaming the store! My man was waiting in the car for me and he texted me to ask if I was okay because he saw what type of street, homeless people were walking in. I do a lot of shopping at Walmart, including their online shopping site. I bought a litter box from them for $12, free shipping, but that was after I had ordered the same one from Amazon. The first box I bought was through Amazon. It cost $16 with free shipping. I checked my checking account the next day and I had a charge from Amazon for $32. So, I check my orders and notice that the litter box I had bought from Amazon now had a shipping charge that was added after I paid the $16. It was being delivered by FedEx, so, since I live in an apartment, I put a note on my door telling fedex not to leave the package, and to return it to sender. I also included the tracking number. I was not paying for shipping. The next day, I notice the Amazon box had been delivered according to my Amazon account, but they actually didn't deliver it, so I assumed they saw the note. The next day though, FedEx had returned and left the package at my door. Ok so after I had been charged I ordered the same litter box from Walmart, cost me a little over $12, no shipping charge. It was too small, so I requested a return, which was granted. That wasn't the problem though. The package from Amazon turned out to actually be from Walmart. At least the litter box came in a Walmart box. So the one I ordered from Amazon cost me $32. So walmart, you charge me $12, with free shipping when I ordered directly from your website, but the one I ordered from Amazon, and its the exact same litter box, you charged me $32. Oh and if I wanted to return it, walmart wanted another $17 for shipping. Explain yourself, please. I had bought two items that were larger and they did not have big size bags which was ok, but when I returned both items I witnessed an employee at 4:00 pm drop her dirty glove on top of a person in a wheelchair that was helping me. Visiting this store makes you realize not all locations are created equal. It's sad actually. I don't shop at Walmart all that often, but when you know you can save some considerable cash on necessities, it's not an unattractive option. Normally I visit the two South Reno stores, and when I'm there, I feel like I'm shopping at any other big box store that happens to offer things at very inexpensive prices. When I shop at this store though, I get a totally different vibe. Sure, the inside is the same as all the rest, but the experience is drastically different. It's pretty uncomfortable to walk into a store that sells food so inexpensively (and no doubt throws some away at the end of the day) and have to walk past several individuals who are obviously hungry and without means to take care of that need themselves. It hurts to see them sitting in the shade of this monstrously large store, stocked to the brim with food, knowing they can't have any of it unless someone provides it out of the goodness of their hearts. I'm not suggesting Walmart solve this problem themselves, but in this case, it's right at their doorstep and I'm sure there's something they can do. In addition, the parking lot always seems dirty and crowded. I often see broken down vehicles and stranded travelers here. Not a total surprise since this is right off the highway, but many of these folks look like they've been here for days either living out of older RVs or their cars. All in all, it's a very sad situation and an uncomfortable place to shop. I would think that alone would be reason enough for Walmart to want to correct it. So I walked over there from my hotel to buy groceries and they didn't necessarily have what I wanted but since Ubers are expensive I was fixing to spend my money there, but I was tired and did something dumb and this store banned me for an indefinite period of time. They're mean bottom line. If you're on foot I wouldn't recommend going there. Came at like 11pm, and still open! HUGE Walmart with a grocery section. Outside of Walmart was nicely done and not as ghetto looking at most Walmarts I'm used to going to in California. Plenty of cashiers even for the late hour. The guy who rang me up was chatty although a bit awkward, but hey you gotta somehow keep yourself sane working so late at night at a register that's not next to anyone else working. He was ok with me doing two separate transactions since I had to make a payment on one receipt for my work to reimburse me and one transaction for my own personal use. They had everything I was looking for. So big it was hard for me to find the office supplies, but finally I found it on the right side of the store. read more

It's not very often I'd rate a big store such as this because I feel like no one would get recognized for my praise, however, Reese in produce and the manager Johnny make me feel as though I need to tell you all what a positive experience I've always had with both. Reese is usually the produce guy when I come in. He is always moving quickly with a smile on his face. He is so eager to help and always makes sure I get the produce I need even if it's not on the shelf. He has truly mastered the art of customer service and makes me rethink my opinions on Walmart. Johnny is the store manager. I approached him today as he unloaded a HUGE cart (he was obviously busy) and he left his task to find the meat guy to help me with my questions. Not only was it refreshing to see a manager help his team unload a truck, but he even asked his guy to check in back. They didn't have what I was looking for but made me feel as if my request was important and worthy of their time. I hope someone reads this and gives both gentlemen the praise they deserve. I like how they have a big map in front of the store showing you where to find things (groceries, toys, home, beauty). Clean & organized store with nice employees. I know it's Walmart.... but it's been super helpful on my move. I've been here several times already to pick up random things I needed for my apartment while I wait for my movers to arrive. I did some bare minimum research before going but they had the cheapest air mattresses I could find so I mainly went to for that but also ended up picking up some cheap pillows THAT I ACTUALLY LIKE (I find it so hard to find pillows). I've always left with more than originally planned but all of it has been true necessities and for a low price. I know you get what you pay for, but for the short term everything I've been able to buy at Walmart for an affordable price has been truly helpful. Not my favorite place to shop for groceries but I also don't think it's the worst option to pick up a few things if you're already there (like I have done a few times). I also gotta say their rotisserie chicken is DELICIOUS!! Never had any problems with any of the cashiers or other employees that I have worked with. I'm not sure what you're expecting to be said. It's the normal Walmart, you got electronics, hygienics, grocery/deli/bakery, jewelry and bedding supplies, and a clothes/shoe section. They have a few vending machines, a red box, a "Spa" and hair salon as well next door to the MC Donalds, and a vision center as well. The best quality of this Walmart, is its location. Right off the highway, next to the GSR/Casino, near a park and the DMV. The location is pretty central and a stones throw away from GSR, making it a tourists quick pick up. read more

IF you want terrible Customer Service, this store is the one. I came into this store at around 6:50pm to the Customer Service line, and the clerk tells me that he is closed, due to staff shortage. Granted there was about 6 other people in front of me, BUT, when I confronted the Store manager he tells me they close at 7:00pm due staff shortage. So they have 10 minutes before they are supposed to "close" they have closed their "door" 10 minutes early. I have a friend who had to make an emergency stop at this location. She was waiting on a deposit to he bank, so didn't have $ & tried to help virtually. No one that my friend talked to at the CS area would try to help. Spend over 3 hours trying to call the store, 1 answer lead to being hung up on. The typical Walmart with a huge selection of stuff anywhere from clothing to groceries. It's right across from Grand Sierra Resort just off the 580/80 junction, so easy to reach. It was great to pick up a few grocery items, though the selection could have been better and their sandwiches are just so-so. Edible, but wouldn't recommend it. Main complaint is the checkout process. Massive lines and only a handful of registers open. The staff seemed to be going as fast as they could, but management should have opened more registers to speed things along. The parking lot is also really weird, as the first entrance you get to is technically exit-only, but I saw a bunch of cars just turn in that way anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ read more
