I told my son to get the flat on his car fixed and the guy a the auto center was so LAZY TO FIX THE FLAT because it takes more time and effort to fix a flat than to change a tire..... so this guy scares my son into buying a tire he didn't need because I had just 3 months ago bought a brand new tire for the car. Never answer their phone. Ever. It's just rings dozens of times to no avail. Not exactly the best customer service.

I know that during the time of COVID 18, things are hard and different, but that doesn't mean you can just ignore your customers and their needs. This Walmart, COVID, or no COVID is one of the worst Walmarts I have ever visited. Whenever I call this Walmart, nobody ever answers the call. Last time I tried calling, I was on hold for about 47 minutes. But when you get in store, it's even worse. Everything is spread out everywhere, you don't know where to find what. The associates working there are also clueless. They have no idea whatsoever where to find anything. Again, I understand during the time of COVID, things are bad, but this? Wally Mart, as some would call it. Your neighborhood Jack of All Trades stores you go to for everyday needs. From groceries, school supplies, electronics, sporting equipment, toys, automotive supplies, and garden center plus some outdoor equipment. Adorn on the front are banks (Wood Forest is the one I remember seeing), hair salons, and pharmacy, and the optical center (for getting prescription glasses fitting done). Walmart Supercenter is like a Super Target, but unlike a Super Target, it has a garden nursery that sells live plants, the automotive section is much bigger, sells car batteries, and actually has a service lube outside. I come to this Walmart (closest to my house) mainly for the automotive section. If I need wiper blades, more fluids for the car, and car batteries, I would come here as opposed to the dealership. Only because things are cheaper here, sometimes by a lot. One thing I would always recommend is to get your car battery replaced here when it is time. In the past, the car battery that came with my vehicle (when new) and one that replaced it doesn't seem to last long in the charge (2-3 years), but I tend to have better luck with Walmart bought batteries lasting longer. If they die within warranty period, you get it swapped with no extra charge. My battery is about to go again soon based on my last service, and the next time I still plan on coming here to get it replaced. The Lube outside can replace the battery for you and get rid of the old one. One tip, although it might seem very obvious and is relatively simple thing to do for some people I am sure, if you get new wiper blades in the store, you can ask the guys at the Lube to install it for you for free without getting your hands dirty. read more

Very disappointed in customer service. The woman who checked me out at self service, yes she did, was rude and then I get all the way home and she did not put my meat in my bag. Called to complain and let them know I need my meat for dinner and took over 15-30 minutes to get thru as no one would answer the phone in the store. I had to go thru the pharmacy in order to get ahold of someone. And low and behold they still cannot help me we have to go all the way back up to the store because she forgot to put my food in the bag and also they can't even put something to the side that I've already paid for. Was looking for a heated blanket for 15 minutes and there was no workers near that area whatsoever. So I went and found one and it was an assistant manager named Azim talking to his associate, I waited there for a minute and made eye contact with him and when he finished talking he just walked straight past me. So I called after him and asked him for help finding the heated blanket and so he just said go to the home and blanket aisle it'll be right there. So I proceed to go there and look again just Incase I missed it. I asked another associate and she said that they were out of heated blankets. Let's just say Azim didn't really help me at all and blew me off. Very poor service. As an assistant manager you would think he'd be a lot more helpful than that but I suppose not, Thank you Azim. read more

You know when you go to search for something on google, and there is that button that says "I'm Feeling Lucky"? It's supposed to bring you to the most closely related website to what you searched for. I kind of felt like I had entered the Twilight Zone version of that when I called this Walmart. I had been asked by some coworkers to order and pick up a cake from Walmart. I'm not a fan of Walmart, but I agreed to do it. I called the Walmart and heard "Electronics". I was immediately confused and thought maybe I called the wrong number. Nope! I called the main line, but it appears that it's random on which department you get. I was then transferred to the operator and then to bakery. I wanted to order a cake which sounds easy but ended up being extremely difficult. The guy who took my order knew nothing about the cakes, decorations, flavors, price, etc... I found out later that the bakery people were MIA and I was talking to the deli guy. He never told me and I just assumed that everyone there was just totally ignorant. I ended up ordering the cake but then had a question. I called back and the "I'm feeling lucky" button didn't work this time either, and I ended up with Jewelry. I spoke to the deli guy again and I realized at this point something was awry. I called back a third time to cancel the order. "I'm Feeling Lucky" phone system sent me to the Garden Center! I ended up being put on hold for over 12 minutes waiting to talk to manager to cancel the order (since there was no one in the bakery). Lessons learned from my experience with this Walmart: 1. Elves that can't reach the phone run the bakery. The tall people of the deli do phone service. 2. Managers wait a minimum of 12 minutes before deal with you. 3. There "I'm Feeling Lucky" Button is broken, but it's always exciting to find out where it brings you. read more

This Wal-Mart is my favorite and the only one I'll voluntarily go to. When I went on a Friday evening around 7 pm, the parking lot wasn't packed and there were actually open checkout registers unlike the Wal-Marts in Austin. They have the usual super-low prices that you see at Wal-Marts. I took off a star because there were a lot of aisles that looked heavily-depleted. Maybe they were in the midst of reorganizing. The inside isn't packed with huge families walking around slowly with shopping carts piled high with stuff, either. I like it enough to even stop by to pick up a small item or two. This Wal-Mart is located on the Southeast corner of Hwy 90 and Hwy 6 in a big shopping center. read more

Walmart management - please read this post. It's not just about price. People are willing to pay for service, cleanliness and convenience. I've been shopping around various Walmart stores for the IPhone 5s that are on sale at your store. Apparently, the IPhones are not in your computer system so no one seems to know whether any stores have the phones in stock. After visiting 8 stores, I finally found one with the IPhones in stock. There were 3 sales associate helping only a few customers. No one seems to know how to write a phone contract. In fact, the sales associated told me that the computer system was down and willing to let me walk away losing a $400 sales. A T-Mobile representative finally showed up and helped my purchase 3 AT&T IPhones. She was a delight, very helpful and more knowledgeable of Walmart systems, inventory and procedures than the actual Walmart employees. Walmart management - pay your employees more money, give them training and put money in your stores for maintenance and housekeeping. You will go by the way of KMart and drift away into irrelevance. I have been shopping at Target for the past few years, and it reconfirms for me that I really hate Walmart. I hate to see such a great company and one of America's largest employer slowly go away and lose. You need to keep you eye on the ball...the customer. Your employees are ambassadors for the company so invest in them. read more

You know, I used to work for Wal-mart many moons ago and this one is a freaking landfill. I seriously think that the Sugarland Sanitation dept. dumps their trucks here as this store is friggin filthy. There's dookie on the floor or toilet every time I go into the bathroom here, the isles always have crap laying on the floor in 'em and the sales people in the electronics dept are rude and stupid. I waited with a friend for a good 20 min just to get a video game out of the locked case. The sad part was that we stood there WITH A DEPT. MANAGER for those 20 minutes...waiting on someone with keys...because no one knew who had keys. Good gawd. Also, this is a pretty busy walmart and there are NEVER enough cashiers. I was at the Walmart in Rosenberg and they didn't have the Christmas tree I wanted so I decided to check out the sugar land location. I was trying to look at the trees and they were blocked by pallets so was not able to see the product on shelf. When I asked if I could get some help in moving the pallets out the way all four associates laughed and said what you can see is your only option. Didn't even attempt to try to help me. Thanks to Michael and shalom in the front of the store they came all the way to the back and helped me move the pallets out the way and I was able to find the tree I was looking for. For the people that were working in the Christmas tree section on November 21st 2021 at 10:20 pm shame on you. You shouldn't even be working in retail if you can't move a few boxes out the way. People know I do NOT like to shop at Wal-Mart. I'll go anywhere and pay extra to avoid the hassle of the place, but out of all the Wal-Marts I've shopped at, this one is the best. There's plenty of parking for one. Sugar Land believes in police patrol, so I don't mind not having a space close to the front. The greeters actually greet you and the signage is up to date. The aisles are pretty clear and the shelves are organized. Only issue I had was when went to the photo area to pick up my online pictures. The man didn't understand me very well. In fact, this same man called me to let me know my picture order was in, but I couldn't understand a word the man said. I thought somebody from another country was crank calling me or something. It was in a totally inaudible and unknown foreign language out of this world! You can't possibly have someone with the responsibility of calling and talking to customers lack some sort of fluency of language. He couldn't even match up the names printed on packages and recognize that "Tamela" and "Erick" are not the same person. Yeah that actually happened. Luckily I found out that my wallets were in the same package as the 8x10s because that man had no clue what to do to help me, much less communicate to me that he couldn't help me. Sad. Most of my visit was spent in the Site to Store area where I was picking up Christmas items. I knew I had a boat load of items, so I picked up a buggy to push to the back of the store. Cam in handy once I was waited on. I was intimidated at first to see the long line of people picking up orders, but I had let almost a week pass by without picking up my order and didn't want it sent back. Plus, I was little excited to see my orders up close and personal. After about a 15 minute wait (that's about 1 status update, 2 picture uploads, and a news article read), was in he front with one of the two young ladies pulling orders for customers. They were extremely professional, patient, and sincere. I had about five boxes of gifts that they filled my buggy to the brim with and inn g=five minutes, I was on my way out of the store. Upon exiting, the greeter asked me if I had checked my boxes and I told him yes. He thanked me for my visit and I was on my Merry Way to my next destination. No fussin', no cussin' and no nonsense at this Wal-Mart. They for once made my day and Holiday! read more

We were going to have my car's tires changed at the tire center. The attendant seemed like he was drowning from a lot of clients left and right until he finally decided to have us fall in line on the side. Took him some time to entertain us because he entertained the people that wasn't falling in line first. Then he proceeds to skip on us because the lady advanced her car closer to the workspace so I called his attention, and the attendant wasn't even sorry about it. We said to the attendant we need new tires, he told us UNCLEAR instructions what we need to do about to go take a picture on the side of the car....or something I DON'T KNOW. HE NEEDS TO SHOW US WHAT TO DO INSTEAD HE JUST LEFT UNCLEAR THINGS WE NEED TO DO AND HASTILY CONTINUES TO ENTERTAIN THE LADY THAT WASN'T EVEN ON THE LINE. There is no place that can satisfy my every need. There are places that come close, and then there is Walmart. Walmart has everything to satisfy your every grocery need as well as your miscellaneous needs. They have cheap prices and this particular location, is organized and well kept. I come here often due to the fact that I live near and they have everything. The one downfall is that this location is almost always crowded. It's for this reason that I usually try to come at night after 10:00PM. Usually at this time everyone is at home, however, you are still bound to find a good amount of people and the late night employees restocking the empty shelves. I understand that Walmart may have some unethical practices, however, when you're looking to save money and get what you need as fast as possible, this is the best place to shop. They do lack a variety of fresh deli products but if you're looking for the good stuff, there are better places to go for this. Overall, if you're in a hurry and looking for somewhere to go that is bound to have what you're looking for, Walmart is sure to please you. If you're looking for the best quality, you should probably look elsewhere. read more

This is one of the better Walmart locations in the area. I'm not one to frequent Walmart. But after a long day of shopping other stores for a patio furniture set, we ended up at Walmart yesterday. I would have never guessed it, but not only did they have the best selection but also prices. I understand these products are out of season (which is why we had a hard time finding a set we liked), hence why we got an amazing deal. Table with a tiled top and swivel chairs for $130 off. At the time of purchase on 9/14 there was a gentleman who I don't recall his name, who helped us last the boxes. The table boxes were smashed badly due to improper storing /stacking on the shelves. He let me know if there were any issues I should just bring it back to the garden center and no need to go to the costlier service desk. Only problem was when I got home everything looked Okay. So I built the table only to realize one of the 3 packages of tiles was shattered. So fast forward today, I ran over to Walmart on my lunch break to see if I could swap out the broken tiles only (why take apart the table and repackage it... Either way there would be a box with damaged goods). Louis was the associate today in the garden center. He was quick to help me, and understood my issue and how it would be easier for not only me but convenient for the store to just swap the box of tiles. Didn't think I'd ever write a yelp review for Walmart, but thank you Louis for the great customer service and the associate from the garden center from the day before who helped me load up the boxes. read more

What I love about this place is their selection of products, and, of course, them being open 24 hours a day. What I do find frustrating, however, is the number of employees available to help customers and the speediness of checkout. The self checkout is the fastest way to complete your purchase, but not if you have a lot of products. There is usually two items that you need an employee to help you with, and the machine keeps thinking I should be bagging items or putting them back in the bagging area. The regular lines are almost always too long. The employees seem tired and the greeters don't greet. The store itself, however is usually very clean inside. read more

Terrible experience at the Auto Care. They left the oil drain bolt loose on my car and while i was out the next day far in Houston, the bolt fell out and all of my oil drained out. My lights turned on and alerted me of the oil drainage, allowing me to pull over on I-10 to decrease further damage to my engine. I had to purchase a bold and 6 qts of oil the next day and pay to have my car fixed and reset from dashboard alerts the next day. When i returned to Walmart to ask for my money back and to speak to the manager. The department manager, Larry, said they had to "investigate" where his employees went wrong, i didn't receive my refund and have yet to receive a call. My only option is to sue them since the manager couldn't handle the situation professionally. Don't go to this Walmart Auto "Care" Center unless you want to waste money and have your car damaged. If I could give no stars I would. Tonight while attempting to purchase a produce in electronics my son wanted something from the locked cabinet so he asked a store rep, who couldn't help him. They disappeared so he found another who happened to be a manager (asst) and she blew him off saying they didn't have the keys. My husband became upset asked for assistance and found another employee who stated the department was closed!!! Ridiculous!!!! Before the holidays and these folks just want to go home!!!! It's supposed to be open 24 hours!!!!!! If they want us to buy from them then they need to be more civilized!!!! We have options as to where we can spend our money!!!! Update- I'm not sure what happened to this store. Management has changed? Most employees are rude, if you can find one. One willing to assist you, and you've won the Wal Mart Lottery. Grocery pick up is ideal and it's free. The pick up employees are an entire group of people all together. They are very kind and helpful. Always smiling and always explaining any changes in my order. My experiences with pick up have always been great. I can't say a bad thing about the pick up itself. My experience with the inside of this store is now ruined entirely by the rude employees. I have never experienced the level of rudeness I have here in my last few experiences. It's to the point we now avoid Sam's as well. As for products I need from "inside" I will shop Amazon and have it delivered to my door. Sure I'll miss shopping around the aisles for items I don't need... but at least I won't be left almost in tears at the treatment. My last and final experience with this Wal Mart has tarnished my view of a good deal. It's worth shopping Amazon, even Prime Now and pay the extra fee--- then to be treated as though I am a problem. They are currently discounting prices to the extreme, but don't get too excited. There are "certain" employees holding items for their friends and family, can't blame them. That is until I see the same items marked up for sale locally. It's disheartening that anyone would do this, but hey... it's their friends and family. I guess it makes it ok???? No it doesn't. Telling me to find my own price checker in the store and not helping me find the price?!?!?! Telling me "it's not my department" and that I should go elsewhere?!!??!! It was a miracle I found an employee to begin with. They are usually hiding somewhere in the store. Lately I've seen them hiding in the back areas. It's good it's now closed off except for the restrooms. However, that doesn't stop them from congregating in the restrooms themselves. One good thing is that a particular employee did assist me in helping me get my toddlers hands washed. I thought it was a miracle that in this world people are still willing to help out one another. As for the other employees working on the evening I went, apparently they were serving some bad lemons in the back. These employees were rude. I spoke to the manager "Chris" who didn't even apologize for their behavior. In fact, I don't think he said much of anything. The kind cashier is the one who instructed me to contact Wal Mart corporate. He seemed more educated in the art of customer service. He even apologized for everyone else and the experience I had. Thank goodness for the Target or HEB across the street. Costco will get my other business. ***Until I start hearing good things again, this Wal Mart will be avoided like the plague. ---------------- By far, this is the best Wal Mart in the area. Parking is hit or miss. Be careful parking under trees unless you want to come back to discover all the birds that used your car for the droppings. It's shocking to see what can come out of a small amount of birds in just under 2 hours! Baskets are good and they give sanitizing wipes to wipe the basket down. Even after doing so, you realize the baskets aren't all that dirty! We've seen worse. We typically go through the grocery side, and there is also a McDonalds at this entrance. We occasionally stop for a drink or happy meal for the kids. You're always greeted by a friendly greeter- Wal Mart knows how to choose one for this store. :-) We tend to do our grocery shopping last, so we visit the left part of the store first for anything we may need. This store is clean and really organized. We've never had a problem finding something. The CSR's working around the aisles are always willing to help, when they can't they call someone else. Wide variety of vitamins! Never a shortage! They have tons of organizing items for your home, and if you're like me- you love checking it all out! Toy section is full and nothing is ever out of place- so it's easy to find. I only wish they had more baby toys. The electronics dept is also nice, but we rarely purchase anything. Their prices are comparable to Amazon, sometimes better. Restrooms are always clean in the back, including the family restroom. Back to grocery. The food is always extremely cold in the cooler. Nothing questionable there! Definitely a great variety of cold cuts and cheese. Prices are good. Their bakery selection is always great too, along with the healthy choices of raw nuts and dried fruits. This wal mart has a great selection of produce. Check outs are often terrible, so I recommend self-checkout. Just a tip- the self checkout receipts are never dark enough (ink)- so you may find the need to visit customer service for a copy just in case. Sugar Land's only Walmart is rather disappointing. Though a disclaimer, I worked for Walmart once upon a time, so I know how they're supposed to run. Selections are not very good, prices are higher than a normal Walmart would run. Service is abysmal: cashier's obviously do not want to be there, managers even less so, and cleaning staff seems to be hardly existent. You're better off going to Target; you'll pay the same and get better service (and the Sugar Land Target isn't that great either, but still better than Walmart). If you have to make it to a Walmart, you're better off driving west on 90-Alt to the Rosenberg Walmart. read more

Walmart somehow reminds me of highschool. You're embarrassed to be there and it's a warped trip down memory lane. The bright fluorescent lights and the dull atmosphere. Anyway, I'm actually able to find most random products here. Ranging from car related products or anything from the cleaning aisle. I often purchase a few items that are organic or anything from the baking aisle. Its a store that I rarely visit yet everything seems to stand still. Again with those highschool vibes. The employees are clueless yet some are friendly. This Walmart is tucked in a quiet neighborhood with a Sam's club in the plaza. It's quite a large store with it being a supercenter. There's a McDonald's, eye-center & bank inside this location. I suppose it's a one stop shop for those trying to fit everything in their cart. It's not a bad location and there's quite a large variety of items inside. But shop here at your own risk I guess. Wally world truly is another planet. read more

Oh-ho, it's a Walmart. Actually, there's not much that can be said beyond the fact that it is a Walmart. I only go to Walmart if I absolutely have to and have no other choice. The one positive I will give to Walmart is that during the Halloween season they do have a plentiful stock of name brand candies bagged in bulk and ready to be given out to adorable trick or treaters and for me to eat, as well. From what I could see, the store was a fairly clean chaos. At least the part of the floor that I could see amid the jumble of stock sitting in the aisles and merchandise in carts waiting to be shelved was free of visible dirt. The candy area was organized well and I found the candies I wanted quickly and easily. Thankfully, my items required no help. Most associates I saw didn't appear to be eager to help anyone. The checkout line was very short, only one person other than myself, and this probably had to do with the fact that I was there during the morning. Having no crowd around is a blessed thing. Especially in a Walmart. The cashier was very friendly and efficient. I was able to get in and out quickly, which is always my goal here. read more
