This Walmart has the biggest bunch of idiot loss prevention people that I've ever seen! First they are the most obvious group and they literally record you while you're shopping if they think you're a thief apparantly. I'm assuming I must look like a hardened criminal! I'm sure it's my dropping hundreds of dollars at a time when I shop that gives me away. They had an officer wait for me one night while I purchased $20.00 in merchandise because loss prevention told them I had a no trespass order which was a lie. Therefore the officer from the surprise police department threw me on the ground while my 15 year old came running up scared. They are a whole other subject. So, the little I couldn't make it as a cop loss prevention guy starts saying my husband is not allowed there either. I told him a few things about himself since my husband NEVER shops at Walmart. My husband had to go and jump through hoops with the police department as well as go to Walmart and get pictures and all that taken to prove he was not ever in Walmart. In the end due to the loss prevention crew at this Walmart I was arrested but yet they never arrested me because the paramedics came to finally help me ONLY to overdoes me on ketamine and send me into a pshycotic episode to which Del Webb Hpspital placed me on a pschy hold. Nobody let me know where my kid was or let me call him. Nobody let me call my husband. It was the most traumatic experience of my life and I was never arrested. Now, I get followed instantly by the douche bags but my tire department is there so I have to go there because everybody is so cool in that department! On Monday, December 11, 2023, I visited the WallMart Autocenter #2777 in Surprise, Arizona around 6:20 pm. My car battery, which was still under warranty, had died, so I asked the employees at the auto center for assistance. However, despite there being more than five employees present, they refused to help me and claimed that they had closed early due to a lack of staff. I pointed out that they close at 7 pm and there were still 40 minutes left, but they still refused to assist me. Feeling disappointed, I requested to speak to the Walmart manager in hopes that someone could help me with my problem. A woman named Glenna identified herself as the store manager and informed me that she could sell me the battery, but I would have to change it myself and bring the used one back for a warranty refund. I explained that I didn't have the tools or knowledge to change the battery myself, but she still refused to help me. I had purchased the battery from Walmart in June of the previous year, and it came with a four-year warranty. However, my problem was not resolved, and I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed, despite having a warranty with Walmart that was not honored, and the service was not provided. I am so tired and so sick of the RUDE minimum-wage employees that work here.... there's never ever anyone who wants to help you I waited 45 minutes in the paint department one night and no one ever came most of these people that work here don't even deserve minimum-wage and they're so rude....But they always want to see your damn receipt when you walk out the door I refuse to SHOW my receipt from now on if you want to call the cops on me FOR NOTHING go for it I didn't STEAL anything and you're not gonna see my receipt from now on!!!!! Hokay, right off the bat I know less than nothing about cars. Went to Wally, gave a very poor explanation of my issue and Joe, while basically running the auto dept solo, was able to straight up hold my hand to the right aisle and explain to me how he would fix the issue I was having. Then b-lined it back with me, giving me more details on his way to help another customer. Guy puts the prof, in professional because if that dude can teach me, he deserves the professor moniker. Also that dude running the parking lot shopping kart detail is a savage at his job and both of these folks need recognition, raises, and maybe some PTO. I have 22+ years doing customer service, bartending etc, and these dudes + that store/floor manager all show the attributes that I would want on my staff. read more

This Walmart does a high volume of Business. Maybe this is why a lot of the staff there are darn right rude! 4 yrs of going there is enough for me. I've had 5 or 6 different occasions where the staff were not only not helpful, they were just outright rude. And 2 of them were..cashiers!! And they still work there. Walmart recently built a new store here in Surprise off of Waddell. its very clean and The staff there are much friendlier. But probably in 2 yrs or so though? No staff to help when you need them, to many things in the aisle and not enough room to maneuver a cart. Every single time I go to pick up my pictures it takes at least 1/2 hour to get someone back there, to focus on me, ring me up and for me to get out of there!! I'll drive an extra 1/2 hour just so I don't have to deal with that anymore!! read more

Basically your average walmart. Products aren't always the highest quality or the cheapest but its ok. Some staff members are very nice while some are a little less friendly. read more
