11/22/24 This location looks more well organized & less crazy. If I could go back in time & UNDO my visit to the Ontario location, I would in a heartbeat. After a long shift, I didn't have the patience for shenanigans. I love the fact that the parking lot was fairly clean ( less littered at the end of the day) and well lit, plus I entered. Less crazy store. I didn't have to hunt down anyone for help because what I needed was where it's supposed to be--we stocked. Got my damn onesie & I was outta there, paid at the self checkout--FAST!! I encountered three separate associates regarding a simple task, and after a 20-minute wait, I received nothing but vague assurances and an utter lack of assistance. The store appears to employ an entire staff dedicated to the art of evasion. The prices may be low, but the cost to one's time and sanity is astronomical. So this was the weekend before Christmas. I expected a lot of crazy. Walmart did not disappoint. Parking was not bad I was able to get a spot close to the entrance. The store just completed a renovation not that you would know . On entry the isles are closed with pallets and displays. The men's clothing section was pulled forward during the remodel to make way for a pick up section. Clothing was a mess unfolded strewn on the floor. My first stop was the gift card display no luck with what I needed so off to electronics where I located the gift card and proceeded to the register where I got in line behind a gentleman purchasing a phone . At least I thought I got in line. After waiting for a few minutes a mother associate approached the register with a costumer in tow placed there purchase on the counter and told them to wait on the other side of the gentleman and that that would be next? He approached us and ask " what do you need? " I explained I just need the gift card . He grunted and moved on once the customer he inserted in front of us was rung up I was able to complete my transaction. We did further shopping and even found a pag for a gift wine bottle . At checkout I I could not find the QR code . And ask for an associate. She said that I must have opened a set . I explained that it was displayed as a single item on the wine isle . She picked up the item and said" too bad" I completed my check out for Walmart not terrible. read more

on several occasions I've had problems trying to find an associate willing to help me with products behind the locked glass enclosures. today was the same issue. i asked at garden register as well as associates stocking shelves and got no help so i nearly left .Today as well as a previous visit the same associate (Travon) that was kind enough to approach me himself asked if i needed help. i recognized him from the last time he volunteered to help me but didn't get his name at that time. Travon is polite and helpful and is an excellent example of what great customer service is. btw. im retired as a customer service training manager . I hate this Walmart location. The customer service has always been terrible. I went in today 1/6 to return some holiday items that were still within the 30 day window. I have the Walmart app so all of my receipts are in my phone and it lists every single item I have ever purchased there. I initiated the return on my phone which said I had until feb 4 to return my items. The app generates a bar code for the store associate to complete my return. However, the store declines my return because they said the store manager said they will not be accepting any holiday returns after 12/26. This was not posted anywhere so how are customers supposed to know. I asked where is this posted that holiday items are final sale after 12/26? They said it's in their fine print where they can deny any returns for any reason. For the record on that single receipt, I spent $400 (over 100 items) and I wanted to return 4 items that were bought 3 weeks ago. Typically items are final sale after they e been discounted AFTER the holidays. Every store I know extended their return policy for items purchased during the holidays. For example, their red competitor's holiday return policy is through Jan 24th. I was planning on doing my grocery shopping there after I completed my return but nope I will never step foot in that store again. I would have spent $150 for a $40 return. This is how they treat customers that actually pay for their items. Not the smartest people there. read more

I used to shop at this Walmart Supercenter in Upland all the time. It is near my Mom's house where I used to live from my senior year in high school through my late twenties. I don't shop here regularly anymore, but I have ordered stuff online and picked them up here. I've never had any poor shopping experience when I am here. Inventory of stuff is a hit or miss... sometimes they are just out of stock... it all depends on the demand on stuff, really. Prices are usually lower than most other stores... funny, when I compare Walmart and Target prices on certain items... they are usually the same or 1 or 2 cents difference... not really competitive IMHO. I don't have a favorite... if I'm here, I'll get what I need... don't need to drive miles to save a few pennies... you'll end up spending more with the gas used to get from A to B IMHO. Sadly we had to come twice to this location. I will be calling corporate. Earlier this morning 12/2/25 we were in the return line and there was a single person working returns. We had to leave due to an emergency call from San Antonio hospital. My mother is terminal. Came back this evening to make a few small returns only to be told be security man that we would have to come back tomorrow at 7am and then Abraham comes over and won't help us because we don't have a receipt for 2 packs of jello, apple juice, and a box of diapers. We paid cash and definitely spend an extreme amount of money at Walmart especially where we live which is in Nevada. Disgusting and disturbing that something so small was handled this way. Abraham couldn't have cared less about the fact that we are in from out of town to say goodbye to my mother. I will NEVER step foot back in this store. Terrible service! Went here this morning to get 4 items... found them all! Got 4 pack of Starbucks Frappuccino mocha drinks, a coffee mate snickers creamer, Chocolate protein shake, and 2 hand soaps. Had to do an Ibotta order so I didn't lose my current credit. I got $2 more credit in the process! Store was clean and real easy to get in and out as I was able to check out on my own! So last night l decided to use Scan and Go to save some time but it wasn't until I was about to pay I find out that scan and go doesn't accept EBT. Okay. No Problem. So me and my boyfriend started separating food and non foods items so we can manually rescan everything again. Then this RUDE condescending black lady with a thick accent comes up to us right away and blocks us off from the register and our cart. Then she says our payment didn't go through even though we haven't even paid yet. I try explaining to her that I can't use EBT with scan and go so we had to start over on the register but this woman starts raising her voice to me saying I'm lying/stealing and insisting that it does work. (It doesn't) Then she just DUMPS my items out from the bin I was buying and completely manhandles the items I just separated. I asked her not to throw my items around in my cart like that and she had the nerve to tell me she can because its still walmart property. So employees are allowed to just throw cartons of eggs and other merchandise without repercussion? Another woman came to help who was MUCH nicer and actually knew what she was doing all while the black employee lingered in the back watching. Finally as we were walking out this woman yells "F*ck you!" to us!!! I don't care how complicated we or any customer is, that is extremely unprofessional in ANY setting. In the end my total came out to the same amount as my original total without that ladys dramatic charades. Not only was she rude and unprofessional but she doesn't even have any sort of knowledge on the services of her OWN JOB. I hope she felt as stupid as she looked. read more

I usually don't got to Walmart but when I want to save money this Walmart is great! Prices are lower than your regular store and they have plenty of personnel helping out around the store! Isles are clean and well restocked plus they have a pharmacy an eye vision center with a ophthalmologist on staff. The only complain is the limit amount of cashier open for you to finalize your purchases so usually you have to wait about 15 minutes in line. NEW they are installing about 20 self serve pay and go units so the waiting would be much less I hope! Will definitely come back to this Walmart specially to buy items we used only once like Halloween costumes! read more

I've had issues when checking out the items come up as cannot be bought and that they are not in the system it is very frustrating so I've had to go back and look for another item, but today takes the cake I went to Walmart to buy my son a birthday gift after taking him to the movies we stopped at Walmart after and I told my son to pick a toy out we head to the register and long behold again at the register it comes up as it cannot be sold the cashier then while I'm holding the toy wants to grab it out of my hand I ask for a manager(Abraham) he comes over doesn't apologize for the inconvenience asks to see the toy and dismisses me and my disappointment on the toy. frustrated I go with my son to get another toy we go to a cashier and again! another new toy came up as cannot be sold mind the shelves were full with the toys the same manager (Abraham) comes over and again tries to dismiss me I asked if there was someone above him who could help he rolled his eyes and yelled out for another manager (David)!!! this is beyond frustrating for a store whose purpose is to sell its products but then has products on the shelves that arnt suppose to be sold finally the other manager (David) comes and says to charge miscellaneous this experience has been the worst I've ever encountered at a store! Especially one I shop at so much this happened today at 320pm!!! Terrible service. Gilbert assisted with my returns. 1 return he scanned and then held my reciept in the air and waved it. I assumed I was supposed to take it out of his hand. He never said "Here you go" or "Take your reciept". 2nd return he did the same thing. Never spoke a word to me after he scanned the reciept. Just held the reciept out and waved it. This return had several items. When I recieved my reciept for the return, there was only a total, it was not itemized. I asked if I could see the itemized reciept that I saw print out of the printer so I could verify my return. Gilbert said there is no reciept like that. I said I won't keep it, I just wanted to verify all my items were scanned. Another employee came up and offered the exact receipt I could see from the other side of the glass for me to examine and take a pic... And then there were under the breathe comments from the employees which ensued to my husband speaking up for me. Everything I had was unused. I had receipts and the exact card. And now checking... he missed processing 1 items that he took from me but didn't properly return. This was the whole reason I wanted to verify his inaccurate work. Would have been nice to be treated more kindly. Be spoken to instead of my reciept waved in my face. And for Gilbert to bother making eye contact. Thanks for a terrible experience! read more

I suppose it's my fault for returning to this dump but it's the closest and most convenient to get to. Yet- I'm shocked that this location can stay open. I got an ink cartridge today. When I bought it, I asked if it was returnable In case it was the wrong size....(yes, I know I should have checked before buying but wasn't able too) but the girl who helped me said "it was". The cartridge was not the right size. Not only did they refuse me, but I also got a lecture about my language. (Please note: I did not actually tell anyone off or use profanity on someone.) Some of you will tell me that my review is petty and dismissible. Sadly- this is just the cream of the crop. This Walmart tends to be dirty (the bathroom had cockroaches everywhere. I will try and include the picture I took), I often would find trash around, isles tend to be cluttered, and finding help is nearly impossible. I waited 15 minutes just to get someone to open the cabinet for the cartridge. Their dressing room seems to always be closed and in the rare cases you do find help- they don't seem confident/knowledgeable about how to do their jobs. Needed items are often not available or locked up so you can't access it. I do not recommend this Walmart. The super center off mountain in Ontario is a way better Walmart. Amazon is also a better choice. read more

I came here earlier to buy a game and had a horrible experience. Walmart partners with an app called ShareCare, a reward app that works with different businesses to give out gift cards. I tried to buy the game and was helped by Teresa in electronics. She refused to help me at all when she saw the ShareCare app and said I'd need to go to customer service and buy it with a manager. The manager, Lisa, refused to listen to anything I said about the app, even though I was explaining very nicely how it works and showing her it was a Walmart gift card. While I was explaining, Teresa took the game back to electronics and I had to walk all the way back to try it again. When I got to electronics and Teresa saw me, I tried explaining that they weren't entering it correctly with which she started raising her voice and arguing with me in front of multiple customers that I didn't know what I was talking about. I was eventually brought back to customer service to try again with Lisa, who had a very smug and condescending attitude with me from here on. I showed her again, in more detail, the app and explained that I had used it at multiple different Walmarts. This is when she started to play with me, pretending to miss the barcode when scanning multiple times, and pressing random keys when scanning to make it look like it wasn't working. She finally did it the way I explained and it went through perfectly, to her surprise. She then tried to turn it around and act professional when she realized I wasn't trying to scam them, or whatever it was they thought I was doing. Overall horrible experience, these two women have absolutely no customer service skills, and one of them being a manager is a disgrace. Also the store was filthy. read more

This was the worst Walmart I've been to. We were waiting at the fitting room for almost 35 minutes. No modest swimsuits, and the one piece my 12 year old tried one was medium and couldn't even cover up her CHEST!! not only that, she had a couple items to try on and the lady kicked us out of the fitting room as it was "closing" its was 4:55 pm. Then after that, she let other people in. She said we were taking too long, but all that it had said was "6 garments max" this is the worst costumer service I have ever encountered. EVERYTHING is locked behind glass doors and when you try to get a worker to open a door it takes them 30+ min to locate a person with the keys! Then when Jennifer finally arrived she wouldn't let me hold anything I wanted to buy. She locked them in front self checkout ONLY. Ordered tires online and set an appointment for installation. When I arrived on time to my appointment, the guy working in automotive told me that even though I had an appointment there were 3 cars ahead of me it would be a 3 hour wait. Those cars were walk in's so an appointment apparently didn't guarantee anything. He rescheduled for the next day, but the next morning I get a call that they need to reschedule again.
