I went in to order new glasses and was very clear about the frames I wanted. The staff initially only ordered the lenses. When I told them I also wanted the frames, they said that was fine and that they would place that order as well. I agreed and left the office. After I had already left, they called me and said the price would be higher (which I expected), but then told me I would have to come back to the office to pay before they could place the order. At that point the process had already taken longer than expected just to order the lenses, so I decided to cancel the order and asked for a refund. After putting me on hold, they called back and told me they would still charge a $46 restocking fee -- even though the issue with the order was not caused by me. As a long-time customer, that was very disappointing to hear. Charging a restocking fee in this situation doesn't feel fair and left a bad impression after years of being a loyal client. I hope the management or owner sees this and reconsiders how this was handled, because I would have preferred to continue coming here. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won't be returning and I can't recommend it to friends or family.

No appointment needed so I got an exam to see if my vision changed. Then I walked around looking for frames. Really not crazy about any of them. Finally picked one that wasn't that bad. Oh, I should say everyone who worked there was helpful and friendly. Once I picked frames, I sat with a woman who took my order. Told her I needed them quick. Normally it takes about 2 weeks, they were able to get it in one week. My insurance covered all of it so no charge to me.

I'm glad I went to see Dr. Tomeff and know I'll be going there for years to come.

I was specifically told that I would receive both my glasses prescription and my contact lens prescription, but I did not receive my contact lens prescription as expected. I also did not feel that my exam was as thorough as I anticipated. There were very few detailed questions about my eye history, previous eye concerns, or other relevant information. What made me particularly uncomfortable was being asked several times about my career and what I do for work, while I felt that more time could have been spent gathering information about my eyes and medical/eye history. Overall, I left feeling that my concerns were not fully addressed and that the service did not meet the expectations that had been communicated to me beforehand. I hope the office can improve communication among staff and ensure patients receive clear, consistent information about what their exam includes and what prescriptions they will receive.

Since my vision changes seemingly every two months, they work personally with my optometrist. We talked about how stress can affect your vision. I never thought about that. This is another reason why they are super awesome. My kiddos chewed up my glasses, I was gone an hour. I just got those glasses and because of the prescription they cost a little bit more. After being upset then freaking out thinking that they ingested glass and calling the vet, including Chewy, few neighbors. I reviewed the camera footage and saw what happened. My cat Gracious got my glasses off of the table and brought it to Scrappy Doo my LabRetriever. I can't have candy anywhere because she takes it and brings it to them. My kiddos stick together. I have to have cameras to monitor them.

I accidentally stepped on my L contact and needed one lens replaced, so I went to Costco with the expectation that I could simply provide them with my complete eyeglass prescription. Instead, I was told that the prescription had to involve Metro Optics, a vendor apparently preferred by the doctor's office. The way this was handled made it extremely difficult for me to take my prescription to the provider of my choice. I spent more than an hour at Costco trying to get the information they needed from this doctor's office, only to leave without the complete prescription I needed. The doctor ultimately refused to properly fill out and send the complete prescription to Costco. This was incredibly frustrating and, in my opinion, completely unnecessary. As a patient, I should be able to receive my complete prescription and choose where I want to have my glasses repaired or replaced. I should not have to spend over an hour going back and forth because my doctor's office wants me to use a particular vendor. I have been a gas permeable lease wearer for more than 30 years and have never had an issue with a getting a prescription filled. I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled. What should have been a simple lens replacement turned into a stressful and time-consuming ordeal.

I showed up, filled out a patient form and was seen after a less than 5 minute wait. That has NEVER happened anywhere else! The ladies were so nice and patient. The gal helping me pick out my frames was very helpful in finding some for my face shape, coloring, and budget. It was so easy and I can't wait to pick up my glasses! The only negative? They're in Round Rock, but it was worth the drive!
