What a joke of a Walmart. I'm new to the area and always used to go to the super center in Burbank, but came here for the first time today and will never come back. Cashiers were super slow , they looked super miserable. Got some groceries for the week including hot dog packets and when I got home I cooked them up, a bite in and they tasted sour. Checked the package and they expired a week ago! Why the hell is this still on the shelves ? Why haven't the workers checked and taken them away ? Ordered a couple bikinis online had them shipped here and picked them up today. Came about noon it was a zoo! Stood in the customer service line for 15 minutes only to be sent on the back to pick up the items. Once I got there it was quick, you check in with the order number at a kiosk, then they give you the items. Went and grabbed some toilet paper and vitamins, lotion. Check our line went pretty fast. Customer service isn't the greatest. The cashier didn't even offer me a bag so I just walked out with all my items. The store is huge and well stocked if you don't mind unruly kids and mediocre customer service by all means come on down! read more

So - up until about 3 months ago, I'd never stepped foot in a Walmart. I'm on a bit of a bargain hunting kick right now.. so where did we head? Walmart! Great for getting inexpensive knick knacks - my husband and I bought matching slippers here, as well as a few necessities for the house (e.g. a plug for the bathtub, some locks, etc.) Prices were much more competitive than Home Depot. Also good for essentials like toothbrushes and other toiletries. I don't recommend the cosmetics department - you can't try any of the foundation colors - even though it looks like some folks have, as the bottles are open. I dislike the wafting smell of McDonald's that you're greeting with upon entering. That aside, some good deals to be found. read more

It's difficult to find an employee for assistance. The shelves were neat, just couldn't find someone to ask if the store carried what I was seeking so I decided to improvise and get something else. After waiting in line to check out the cashier was friendly enough. Then had a line to leave, I was holding a couple of items and the receipt. The Walmart employee had to the put a mark on my receipt, like Costco does. Didn't see him count my items, just made his mark and out I went. I just had the quintessential Wal-Mart experience. I had received a Wal-Mart store coupon for Bush's Chili Beans buy two cans any size, any flavor and get $1 off. So I went to the Wal-Mart at 6433 Fallbrook Ave, West Hills, CA 91307 and did my shopping. I got my things and went to get the Bush' chili beans. I found the Bush's beans, but there were no chili beans, no empty spot for them. I asked the guy stocking the shelves "Where are the chili beans?" He pointed down the aisle on the other side and said "Chili beans are down there." There were Dennison's Chili beans and a few other brands but no Bush's chili beans and no empty spot. So I went back to the chili bean free Bush's section and grabbed two cans of Vegetarian beans. And headed for the cashier. The cashier said "This coupon is for Chili Beans, these aren't chili beans, it isn't going through." I replied "Show me where the Bush's chili beans are and I will get them." Said the cashier "We don't carry the chili beans." Needless to say, I walked away. Two and a half stars and Yelp GIVES you one star just for existing. read more

My visit to Walmart at the fallbrook shopping center was absolutely horrendous!! There were shopping carts alll over the parking lot and it was frustrating finding a parking spot. After 15 minutes of looking for parking and putting some carts in the cart corral since none of the associates or managers seem to care about customers having parking or shopping carts, I was able to park. Then during my visit I went to the bathroom which was completely disgusting!! There was feces all over the toilet seat and what I believe is urine all around the base of the toilet!!! It was completely horrible !! Then during my time shopping for a dog bed I selected one that I seemed to like, it was a decent size and was marked on the shelf (well stocked to remind you) as $39.99; later when I was at check out the bed came up as $49.99. There were also no dog bones available for purchase and other pet products came up as different prices that were displayed on the shelves! I'm never coming back to ANY WALMART establishment AGAIN! Any associates I brought any issues to seemed to not care ! This has been a problem I'm the past an I hoped it was going to be different but man was I wrong!! This is the most disappointing experience of my life ! I was only able to take a pic of a FEW carts in the parking lot as I was in a hurry ! Don't do Walmart curbside at the Fallbrook location... 2nd store to F up on a simple curbside pickup today. This is the 2nd time I have used Walmart curbside here. The first time they had the spaces reserved, and the app didn't work but you could call in for curbside pickup once you arrived. Today, the app didn't work but said come down to pickup. There is no curbside pickup anymore, they pulled it all down and expect you to go stand in long lines in their crowded stores during a pandemic; especially those of us with elderly loved ones with medical conditions we have to take extra precautions for. The parking lots are packed and endless crowds I'm guessing are going to risk it for some discounted items. Insane long lines. Way understaffed at the registers. It took a half hour to purchase anything and the lines for self check out were equally as bad. In fact, I was writing this review while I was waiting in line. No sweat of their shoulders though since these big chain companies are basically monopolies in this inflated economy. Managers do nothing about it except say I'm sorry. They have no power to do anything about anything anyway. The higher ups literally put them in a position where they can't do anything about anything except say they're sorry. Walmart probably pays their employees minimum wage or something unacceptable--so they're employees are barely making ends meet and working in the hot valley weather. They're probably sick and tired and don't care as much since they're surging ( in survival mode). I'm so sick of the high ups taking advantage of working people and their customers. I have been back here four times to pick up a prescription. The doctor has confirmed it three times still haven't got it. They claim they didn't receive the doctor's electronic notification. The person in the line in front of me was arguing about the same thing he said the doctor sent to request five hours before. They are claiming they don't receive doctor's notifications I think so they don't have to fill prescriptions. They are clearly understaffed. I'm usually not the type to rant on yelp and write a bad review....but goddamn! The vibes in this store are so unbelievably awful I felt that I had to. Between the shitty to no customer service and the fact that half the products are broken or laying on the ground this store must have an awful management team. Every single employee looked like they'd rather die than work another minute in there. As someone who's worked in customer service since I was legally able to, I understand not enjoying your job and not being in a good mood but I have never treated someone as rudely as almost every single employee treated me, even when i'm being yelled at by an ultra Karen. The sad thing is, as much as I would LOVE to call out the specific workers who were rude to me, I don't even blame them. Any business not willing to pay attention to the happiness levels of their employees, is a business that's run like shit. If it had been just 1 employee who treated me awfully maybe I would hold them accountable but of the 5 employees I interacted with, only 1 was decent to me. Decent. As in, he was the only one to not speak to me extremely rudely. When I asked one woman for help she said "that's not my job to do that, goodbye." When I literally just asked her to unlock an iphone charger for me. I was then turned down for help by another 2 employees before someone finally came to help me. I finally thought I was in the clear and could just checkout and go home. But nope, the guy at the register ALSO gave me extreme attitude. I had wanted to purchase an item that had no price tag (which every single one of that same item that they sold also had no price tags on it) so I kindly apologized to him, knowing it meant he had to go do a price check and spend more time on me. His response: "what do you want me to do about it?" At this point I was extremely pissed off because I had to PLEAD with him to even send someone to do a price check for me. He eventually half-assedly dismissed me to the side to wait for someone to come help me without even explaining that that's what he was doing. Are you fucking kidding me? I honestly should've just grabbed the item and walked right out, if your not going to bother to find out the price then I guess it's free right? lmao. He couldn't even muster a fake ass kind sentence to inform me I had to wait to get it price checked, he just used a hand-motion that told me to step out of line. Seriously made me want to walk right out and never return, and I probably won't be. The Walmart on Fallbrook and Victory Blvd in West Hills Ca leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the people associates in this store can not understand or speak English. Secondly I was at the pharmacy today Sunday July 21.2019 asking the pharmacist a question and when I turned around my cart was gone. When I went to tell a supervisor all she could say was sorry. This is total BS! Finally when I wanted to return items without a receipt I was to wait 3 months because I had brought some other items back. The reason I had to bring these items back was because I went to my dermatologist and found out I was alerting to any fragrance product including body wash , body lotion , face soap and antiperspirant but you did not care. For some strange phenomenon this Walmart attracts some of the scariest people around. Today while in the long return line the security guard and a customer almost got in a fist fight in front of my child. They were yelling profanities and almost went at it. Then I waited in line with by far the rudest and most unintelligent employees in the planet. They do not know hoe to use their computers, they speak broken english, and they don't like what they do, that is why they will make you wait in line for an unnecessary long amount of time because they do not know how to implement problem solving strategies. Bought a mini fridge online and was surprised how cheap it was for such a high quality looking one so I was happy with that. It said store pickup was going to be available in 7 days which was a little longer than I thought but that's ok, it was all free shipping I just preferred to pick it up. I've never really been to a Walmart but I did however recently discover the Walmart app and have begun to purchase so many of my needs this way. Super convenient and good prices. I had several large boxes delivered that contained a bunch of little stuff. I realized that on one of these purchases I made of couple mistakes in my haste to order a bunch of things. One said it was a 4" plant pot..it was the size of a Togo ramekin that would fit dressing. Ok..well I also ordered two cheap eyebrow pencils, one was $6.99 (the correct price )and the other was $18.00??!! Same brand too!! Anyway, I'm an AVID on line shopper and I'm very used to getting in my car to make easy returns when necessary! NOPE, it took me 20 min to get to this local Walmart in SoCal traffic. I stood in the return line that was like 10 people deep and not in any hurry to move. I had my new Walmart app opened up and ready to go with the two products I wanted to return so that I could be more efficient for myself and everyone behind me. Well they proceed to ask me for the original shipping box..huh?? The HUGE Walmart box that 10 other products were delivered in? Like I said, I'm very experienced with on line returns and ive NEVER been asked for the original shipping box! The girl does a some act like she's looking for or something. She does a few weird circles and then proceeds to tell me that she "doesn't have anything to ship my products back in" I'm like huh? Then she tells me I can go into the store and BUY something to ship my eye pencil and plant ramekin back in. I'm absolutely bewildered. I point towards the store and say "let me understand this...you want me to go into that store..buy something to be able to return these two products that Im attempting to returned from Walmart.com" Mmm no. Is this a weird dream...I demand to speak to a manager. Miriam comes over and is less competent than Nasrim the return "representative". They proceed to tell me I can't return these products anyway (after 10 minutes of going back and fort) because I bought it from a 3rd party vendor!! I bought it from Walmart.com! I walked out with my undersized misrepresented plant pot and my outrageously overpriced cheap eyebrow pencil and the loss of my time. I could have sworn I'd written a review for this location already....but anyway...this Walmart is located in a very busy shopping area, which included Ross, Party City, Sprout and Ulta right in the same area, not to mention an Olive Garden, and parking can be a bit tricky. I come at non-peak hours, early morning, very late evening, if I ever need anything. Lines tend to be long, there is no self-check out, annoying receipt checker at the door, something that is not consistent with this Walmart; some stores do it (like Costco and that's fine cause they ALL do it) and some don't, but to chase me down with a highlighter for the two bottles of soda I purchased because I didn't know I had to hand over my receipt? Come on West Hills Walmart. This location has been going steadily downhill over the years. read more

I had a very horrible experience at this Walmart in West Hills. I purchased a 55 inch Roku tv which ended up being faulty. The tv had a huge red line going down the side on the monitor screen. I had Walmart customer service email my receipt because I had lost the original. Upon arrival, the managers and employees assumed the receipt I had emailed from Walmart customer service was fraudulent or "fake." They told me to call again and have it resent. The managers tell me the serial number on the TV does not exist within their database and that their is nothing they can do. The next step would be to call my bank and show the Walmart managers proof of purchase for the TV. At this point, I already had went home and printed out my transactions. I didn't think to double check the serial numbers the managers had written off the TV and compare with the one on the receipt myself. Come to find out, the Walmart personal had wrote the wrong serial number off the TV. After pointing out that the serial numbers did not match, the matter was resolved. Throughout the duration of this experience, Walmart personnel was extremely rude and did not seem like they wanted to come up with a remedy or solution. I, a customer who will never step foot into a Walmart again, had to point out the and solve the issue Walmart employees had made. Not once did I receive an apology and their attitude was nonchalant. All in all, I was just so shocked to see the incompetence that is instilled within their employees. read more

Honestly couldn't give it a worse rating. I came in today to buy some groceries and was wrongfully accused of recording (I was coming back from a job and had my camera on me). Their reasoning being my battery light was going off signaling that my camera was dying, I explained that I wasn't recording and opened up my screen for them but they kicked me out anyway. My girlfriend and I came, couldn't find parking, once we did, they didn't have swim goggles, the pillows were very expensive in comparison to their prime competitor target, I asked an associate in the sports department where something was and he lied to me saying it was on the wall at the end of the store, bathrooms were a mess, nothing is put In the right spot, and yes sometimes their prices are better than other stores, but you have to deal with the garbage customer service, long lines, bad parking, and dirty store. these issues are consistent and we come here very often only living 5 minutes away, the best advice I can give to anyone who wants to shop here is don't expect the associates to know anything, and don't even bother telling management anything because they won't listen to you anyway. read more
