Unlike most of the people reviewing WCC, I have a pretty vanilla Lexus GS. Came here last year to have a Vais ML+ iPhone integration unit installed. Dan and team installed the brute quickly and expertly. It worked like a charm until I purchased an iPhone 5. As Apple changed to their new "lightning" cable w/o telling anyone, and it was not compatible with the Vais, I was stuck using my iPad to integrate with the system...not very high-tech. I stumbled through with this for a few months until the Apple cable installed in my GS frayed out. Called Dan and he thought he could find a way, with a couple of extra components, to get the Iightning connector to work. Dan purchased all the cables himself and attempted to get it functioning. Unfortunately, no such luck so he just installed a replacement cable and I am back to using my iPad until Vais releases a new iPhone 5 compatible model or, I get a new ride. Dan only charged me for the replacement cable. Keep in mind that he had numerous high-end and expensive jobs lined up that day (like most days I guess) but, he took the time to take care of my little deal. These guys have definately earned my return business. Maybe with a new Maseratti I saw at the dealership just down the street LOL! read more

I have been bringing my cars to Dan ar WCC since they have opened. I started with my 03' MBZ Sl55 that they gave a complete makeover. They power coated my rims black-intergrated video and Ipod and installed bluetooth,power coated my brake calipers red, fully detailed my car. I'm sooooo happy with my Sl55 as it looks completely different and NEW!! I had them also trick out my 2005 BMW 750I and my last project they just finished is my 2006 Porsche Cayenne S which they integrated my Ipod and blue tooth,power coated my rims black and my brake calipers red,painted rear spolier.underneath mirrors satin black,installed Porsche aluminum skid plate and wheel arches( they also ordered the parts from Porsche and gave me a great price) and my 2006 Porsche looks amazing!!! I'm so pleased with Dans work that I have referred several of my car friends( that are very particular about who modifies and customizes their cars) and they are all very happy. I can't say enough great things about WCC since they are the ONLY shop I trust to work and modify my cars. I have to say I had a great experience at Dan's place. Everyone in Dan's shop has a "can do" attitude. We bought a 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 that was the auto dealer's teaser car. So the radio was stripped out. We wanted a pioneer F700BT, an amp, new speakers throughout, a sub-woofer and a backup camera. We had gone to several places for quotes and information. Dan's price was 25 percent less than any other installer. Dan even threw in window tinting for free. The folks in Dan's shop were great to deal with. It only took two days to get the setup completed and the car was ready to go. There were some issues with the software on the Pioneer, but these issues were the fault of the manufacture of the unit, not the installer. The installer went way beyond the call of duty to fix the glitches that crept up in this unit that I wanted. They are even updating the software for the unit months after install for me. That is taking care of your customers. I would highly recommend Dan and his people for any of your after market needs. read more

I do not typically contribute to Yelp, but ran into these posts when looking up Dan to give him some more business. What an outstanding experience I have had with Walnut Creek Customs. I always cringe at the thought of installing aftermarket products in a car, because they often don't fit well, don't work consistently and never have the fit and finish of the stock car. However stock always falls short of the available technology features. Dan changed my opinion. I trusted him with my 911 Turbo. He and I looked at the options, considered my desires and chose the technology. The install was top rate! They even built fiberglass pieces considering the fit and finish of the car. I got all the richness of the aftermarket features offered and it is beautiful. Excellent service! These guys stand behind what they sell (a rarity these days). Walnut Creek Customs Is the BEST!!! I have had 2 vehicles done with Dan and his crew @ W.C.C. and they never let me down. The hooked up my Mercedes with a complete sound system and custom install last year and i thought it couldnt be any better. So when i bought my new Range Rover last week i knew right where to go. Once again Dan, Eddie, and Juan, surpassed my expectations with an amazing sound system that was superior to the oem (over priced. extremely. mediocre) system. The work they do is beautiful and i am blown away by Dan's creativity in designing these systems. I wanted to tip Dan but he asked i instead post a review and let everyone know my experience. I came here for purchase and installation of a car stereo, liked the service and the owner, Dan, and came back for purchase and installation of a radar system. Dan selected the products for me, within my price range, which was much appreciated because I don't have the time or interest to study, compare and price all the different electronics systems. I asked for and got something basic, yet reliable and convenient to use. Everything works beautifully and they hardwired my radar system at no charge, so I don' have to deal with the manufacturer's cords and plugs. The shop is always full of high end cars, even boats, but I feel like my high-mileage little Toyota Corolla gets the same care and respect. Highly recommend this shop. read more

Went and visted these guys after they had done work on my brothers escalade. I had them do a bluetooth,ipod,xm in my 07 audi. The heavily tattoed guy @ the front helped me. Now im not one to judge a book by its cover but i was a bit sceptical with my new car. 5 minutes talking to him and I knew I would be more than taken care of. By the way the tattoed guy is the owner Dan, and very cool cat. He showed me everything I wanted and gave me a great price. The job was done on time and everything works perfect. The told me they do no advertising because they like knowing someone who had been there would tell there friends......so im telling my YELPer friends, these guys rock. I walked in to Walnut Creek Customs and I didnt get that creepy feeling (as a women) when i normally go into car places. The people there were very nice and helped me with my purchase of a video system for the kids. Dan walked me through the entire process of the job and went through in detail how everything worked, i explained to him i am a bit technology chalanged. He even made me a little key card with what all the buttons do and laminated it. Exellent customer service, something that can be hard to find in this town. The did the job in the time alloted for and even detailed our truck when the job was complete. WOW!!! you dont get that service every where. read more

I only have positive things to say about this place. I have a 2004 Toyota Rav4 and I wanted new speakers because mine were blown and a 12 inch sub and they got it all installed perfectly and it sounds great. They are very nice and helpful and a few of my friends have got their sound systems done there too and they all sound great. The people at Walnut Creek Customs know exactly what they're doing and do it at a good price. They went way beyond what they were required to do to help me out and answer all of my questions.
