Grabbed some breakfast to go- coffee, biscuits and gravy and a cinnamon roll big enough to feed an army. Extremely good and well worth the drive from Cannon Beach. Service was great and the restaurant looked like it had a lot of seating inside and out.

Always a great experience. The owners and all of the wait staff are always as sweet as can be & Very attentive. This has become mine and my friends Sunday morning escape from a crazy work week. Also super cute decor !!

Been coming here for decades. Always good. Service is always great. Pro Tip - if you want cinnamon rolls, be here before 9 am. They sell out quickly

Can't wait to come back again! The service was 10/10 and one of the best places that I've had at the Oregon Coast. The owner was very friendly working at the front. Love the interior design with the plants. The Oatmilk latte was delicious and I really enjoyed my tofu scramble. My friends also said that the cinnamon roll was the best they've ever had. The portion was HUGE.

Great coastal location and nice drive from Rockaway Beach. Great service, incredible dessert spread, and delicious breakfast. This is the epitome of small town diner but with big city flare. Don't miss out on Wanda's breakfast and lunch items. Great setting and staff was wonderful. They have a great coffee bar for the wait as well.

Wow! I would seriously go back just for the cinnamon roll! The famous giant cinnamon roll is absolutely delicious, and you definitely need to get one to go! They have a coffee bar you can order a drink to enjoy on the front patio while you wait for a table (it's a tiny spot, expect a wait on the weekends! We were quoted 30 minutes and I think it was closer to 20). There's also a small area to buy some cool coastal souvenirs, prices were pretty reasonable and there were so many fun stickers to look through. They also sell baked goods to go in this area, the breads seemed a little spendy, but the smaller goods were reasonably priced. Our group got an assortment of foods, but I'm a sucker for a Belgian waffle, and they had a delicious maple flavored waffle that weekend. I added bacon on the side, a little too crispy for my taste but great flavor overall! The one drawback? Their menu states they serve Coke products....used to. They are now a Pepsi restaurant (apparently Coca Cola was too unreliable for deliveries). Wish they would update their menu to reflect that, I was so sad I couldn't get a crispy Diet Coke before our drive back to Portland. The good news? They did have Diet Dr Pepper, so I still left happy.

Two for breakfast this morning. This is a VERY popular place, so if you don't get there right when they open you'll have a wait. The good news is they have a beautiful waiting area outdoors (see photo). They also have a nice covered patio seating area for dining, so this place is bigger than it looks. The menu is great for brunch - nice mixture of Benedict's, sandwiches, etc. On weekends they have cinnamon rolls, which is what I opted for. They are massive - I could only finish 1/2, and I'm a big eater. My wife enjoyed her 2 egg breakfast which came with a nice fruit bowl and really good biscuit. The service is great, the staff really hustles. One of the better breakfast places I've been to in quite a while. Highly recommended.

This is a must-stop place if you're anywhere nearby. Quaint and funky decor. Good and pleasant service. Popular; required a 30 min but comfortable wait. We'll be back. Tip: when ordering Eggs Benedict ask that the muffins be well toasted. Also big on the biscuits.

We will have to try this spot in the future for breakfast. We were here for the cinnamon roll but we didn't get here early enough before they were sold out! We did pick up other pastry treats and a coffee that were yummy. Cute place nice staff. There is a lil parking lot.

So I attempted to go to this restaurant twice on my visit and it was always busy with the wait being pretty long. Luckily on my third day it was only 30 minutes and I waited it out. It wasn't as long as I'd thought it would be. They have an outdoor waiting area with coffee. Every person was also very friendly. Once I got inside I understood the wait. Its a small space, you can tell they have expanded. I loved how it was layed out though with what they had. It felt local and modern at the same time. After eating the wait times made complete sense. Everything I ate was incredible. I had a breakfast sandwich, but it was perfect and the potatoes it came with were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also bought baked goods on my way out and all if them have been delicious! The coffee coffee cake are currently my favorite, but I still have two other cookies to get through! Love this place by far my best breakfast experience at the coast this trip. I will definitely want to come back.

We drove to Nehalem from Beaverton for a beach day and we got to Wanda's a little before noon and the hostess outside said it would be around an hour (but she overestimated and said it usually is quicker) so we walked around the little town for a bit and then waited in the ample sitting space out front and time flew by and then we were sat a little before 1pm. The server was very sweet and friendly and the food was great, I ordered the smoked salmon omelette and it was so delicious, I added mushrooms and avocado to the omelette. The dill cream cheese was to die for. My friend ordered the 2 egg breakfast, my other friend is vegan and got the tofu scramble. I can see why the cafe was so busy, my whole table was gobbling up our food. Everything was great. We also ordered drinks, I ordered the laughing Wanda, and my friend ordered the Nutty Irishman. The cafe was really cute and the employees were all very nice even when it was incredibly busy. If I'm ever in town again I will definitely come back and try something else on the menu because it all looks so good!

The vibe was honestly perfect, and I would go out of my way to come back The long: In good old Manzanita, there's this wonderful little spot for those that wanna have a drink and a good bite to eat. Welcome to poach 503. I was a solo diner looking for a bite to eat and stumbled upon this place and let me tell you it was packed 15 minutes after opening. Luckily, since I was by myself, I got to sit on the bar relatively quickly. As for the vibe, it was very homie cozy and honestly made you feel like you were part of the community. The lady that took my order was quick to answer questions and very straightforward, you could also tell that she knew all the locals by name and made a great conversationalist. I ended up getting a nice little hot chocolate wasn't the most adorable cup and sipping just watching the conversations roll by. As for my food, I got the Brekki sandwich which honestly melted in my mouth. It had an interesting tank to it, but that was part of the character that made it so good as for the potatoes that came with it they were fantastic. They had a nice mixture of Cajun and other spices(to my unknowing self). If anyone is in or near manzanita, I would definitely recommend as everyone seemed to be enjoying their drinks in a lively environment with some good food. Rating: 4.75/5

Doesn't look like much from the outside but very roomie, clean and nice inside. AMAZING service! Wish I had gotten the name of the young man behind the register yesterday that attended us. He was so nice, patient, and helpful! We sat outside in the front patio with our 2 pups enjoying the beautiful weather and got the food brought out to us. We split an oyster melt sandwich, albacore tuna sandwich, and their house made tomato/orange soup. You could tell the oyster and tuna both were very fresh and not canned or frozen nonsense. They said the tuna is sourced locally from Garibaldi area about 1/2 hour south of there. The strawberry lemonade had fresh strawberry in it and was delicious and not overly sweet. We then went for a very long walk on the beach to work it all off and came back few hours later to relax at the outside patio tables again and tried the dirty fries and salmon pita (BOTH DELICIOUS). and a must try too. The food here is different, unique, and not made how you would typically expect or get anywhere else. I thought the tuna sandwich would be boring but actually left me wanting more. We were sad upon return that we didn't get to try their CLAMS because they had run out since it's one of their most popular items, but we will DEFINITELY be returning to this place, and hope to be able to try their dinner menu sometime. We both highly recomend it!

Not so long ago you would walk into a Resturant, a local business, a shop of any kind and employees were happy to see you and grateful for your business. With a few exceptions this feeling is dying in most businesses. The ownership has empowered employees with zero skin in the game to be the speaking agents for their business. I don't think that the message we get as consumers matches what the ownership would want. When I walked into the Big Wave Cafe tonight I got nothing but attitude from a young lady who acted very overwhelmed with the amount of customers in the Resturant. The place was very busy. Lots of staff standing back in the food prep area. Just standing and talking. I could tell she was stressed. Long story short I was made to feel as if I was a burden and unwelcome. I was prepared to spend 50.00 on a steak and another togo meal for my wife. Nothing but attitude from this young lady. I simply got up and walked out. There was another couple with two small children who walked out just after me. We spoke for a brief moment as they looked upset. They got the same experience. Be prepared to be talked down to and treated like they don't care if your there or not. We have eaten here before and never experienced the attitude. What happened ?
