The waiters were very nice. However the owner was extremely rude. The outside seating was terrible, the tables were dented and slanted. There was no good way of disposing the grease and they only allowed one grill swap. So we had to cook on burnt oil and the oil kept popping up and burning us even at lower temperature. Cheap, delicious, and decent quality (if that exists all together). Our family took us here for dinner after a long flight + drive from the airport, so the hunger could've played a small part in how much we enjoyed the place. Of all the AYCE KBBQ places I've taken my husband to, this has been his favorite. It wasn't super packed when we arrived. The service was average--a couple times they forgot to bring us the pork belly we ordered. We really enjoyed the brisket and they kept 'em coming! Nothing fancy here, but I am a fan. When my husband and I are craving cheap KBBQ, we come here. The simplicity of this place is what draws us. Menu is straightforward, on an old laminated piece of paper at every burner station. You pick either A or B, which includes pork belly, beef brisket, beef shoulder, spicy pork, pork shoulder. The only difference is that choice B includes marinated beef and it's $14.95, $2 more than choice A. We always get the A, because it's mostly what we order at other KBBQ places, and the meat is plenty. Yes it's true all the side dishes ARE nonexistent except for a bowl of salad and kimchi. Rice is $1.25, but I can never finish it bc it's too much! My husband says it fills him up quickly. They also include onions and jalapeños. The service is fine, they were always attentive with us. I don't even think that I could call this Korean bbq place at all. There are no side dishes at all, literally only had a salad, plates of soy sauce, and starter plate of brisket on the table. No kimchi(!!!), no fish cakes, no potato salad, no corn cheese, no rice paper, no nothing. Also, you don't want brisket? Too bad, apparently this place starts everyone off with a plate of brisket for some odd reason. Speaking of the meat, there were only like 6 meat choices and all of them had weird marinades/seasonings that do not taste how they are traditionally supposed to. The bulgogi tasted like it was straight up just dipped in soy sauce for five seconds. You also have to pay extra for rice which is crazy because if you don't get any rice, all you'd have on the table was meat and salad and thats just sad. The service from the waiters was also lacking as they would never check up on my table and also it took so long just for us to get their attention to start ordering. Overall, I'd avoid going to this place. I know that it might be tempting to go here since its open wayy later than any other kbbq place in the valley, but steer clear of this place. Whoever runs this place knows absolutely nothing about Korean BBQ. And anyone who has eaten at any of Koreatown's 5,000 restaurants will know this the minute they are sat. The low meat quality, lack of small plates (panchan), the dry rice, and overcooked steamed egg was offensive. There was not a single Korean sitting in the packed restaurant and there's a reason why. This place obviously appeals to the value eater so anything I say in this review ultimately means nothing as long as people and their families can stuff their stomachs full of meat for less than $20. There will always be a market for places like this and I can appreciate that. At least their servers are very nice and attentive. read more

This place was pretty good. It is a small place, so if you have a big party you might need to wait a bit. They bring you brisket the minute you sit, and the sauce is on the table, so you don't have to keep asking for it when you finish it. Price is decent for all you can eat. :) read more

Prices: For $12.99, you get your choice of Beef Brisket, Spicy Pork, Pork Cushion, another lean beef cut and Pork Belly. For $15.99 you get all of this and marinated beef. Service: Service was great. I came on a Tuesday night around 7:30PM and there was no wait! I was seated right away which is always a plus for Korean BBQ. The server was always easy to flag, friendly, and made sure that I had everything I needed at my table. Drinks were refilled quickly. Food: Rice and soup was an additional price (~$1.25-$2). The only thing that came with the All-You-Can-Eat was the kimchi and a salad with sesame oil like dressing. I liked that they brought out chopped onions, jalapenos, and garlic you could throw on the grill. They had one type of sauce for the meat, sriracha, and the usual sesame oil w/ salt. Overall: The service was fast and accommodating and for the price, it was A-OK. However, since rice and soup weren't included and there were only so many choices of meat, I would just spend a little bit more at a place that has unlimited rice and more appetizer options. If you don't like the long wait and you are looking to save a few bucks (and you're not going to eat rice), this might be the place for you. read more

Before attending a long-awaited $10.99 AYCE KBBQ UYE, I thought it would be a good idea to drop some kids off at the pool in order to make space in my croissant-filled belly. Unfortunately, I am not so talented to do so on command and someone told me poop isn't sexy. So fine, I didn't. Not too long after arriving, we got to grilling as much pork and beef as our stomachs could handle. Maybe it was rude to start without the full party, but everyone knows that Yelpers are total laggers (though we love em!). It was also weird to have the only two employees stand around the little restaurant and hover over us to start ordering. So we ate meat. It might have been fatty, chewy, and slightly still frozen (which Roman turned his nose at), but we ate A LOT of it. The sides included a well-dressed salad and rice for an additional $1 a bowl. I was pretty sad there was no potato salad, rice wraps, or the usual side fares I love so much at Korean restaurants. But at least I rolled out with satisfied belly. I don't always write shitty reviews but when I do it's always about shitty food. Had to say it is the worst KBBQ in the valley, their marinated beef isn't even marinated! It's just frozen slice beef they pour sauce over. And they didn't even let it sit in it to marinate, it came over to the table still half frozen sitting in the base sauce. Same with the spicy pork just like it still frozen with the spicy sauce that taste more like sugar and water down chilies. The best thing they got there was the kimchi and I'm pretty sure that came in a bottle. They also have almost no condemns, aside from the giant size salad and kimchi you'll have to ask for salt and pepper and it comes mix together wtf! And whole garlic wtf do you do with that to add flavor to slice thin beef? If I mentioned this giant bottle of sauce they give you, it's pretty much just water down soy sauce and sugar. More brisket, prease! That's pretty much all I ever have at an all-you-can-eat Korean bbq. I don't care for the pork belly or marinated meats, just give me more brisket! So clearly, I didn't mind the fact that brisket and pork belly are the only meats served. Came here tonight after a long day at work and was thoroughly satisfied with both the food and service. The quality of meat was consistent and they didn't yell at us when we put the onions and jalapenos on the grill--apparently there's a sign we forgot to read outside that mentioned this was taboo. This place is pretty tiny, possibly the tiniest Korean bbq joint I have ever stepped in, but I like its cozy small-time mom and pop shop sort of feel. There are marble top tables in the center of the establishment and aluminum tables alongside its perimeters with small stools as seats. There's also a flat screen tv in the back near the register--which you can't really hear because of the fans and conversations, but it just adds to that home-y feel you get about Wang Dweh Ji. I also love the fact that it's a late-night local spot--they stay open until 2:00 AM! So I can eat my tummy's content for only 10.99$--and maybe another dollar for rice--so 11.99$, without having to drive all the way to Hae Jang Chon in Koreatown where I burn more gas and spend more money! I was craving kbbq for days now, and wanted to hit up a spot where you can cook your own meat. I didn't feel like driving to ktown. Searched around the area for a place. I saw good reviews for this spot, so I put on my chucks and left. Thank goodness for the tip from the other yelper. This place is behind Denny's. We would have missed it because the sign is written in Korean. $10.99 for all you can eat, which comes with beef and pork. You get thinly slice onions, jalapeños peppers, side of kimchi, garlic, and a medium size bowl of salad. Unfortunately, they do not have more side dishes like we are used to at other kbbq restaurants. House sauce was great for dipping. I added the onions and peppers to the sauce, and dipped my sizzling meat with it. Yummy!! Washed it all down with a cold glass of Hite. I came out of there full and happy. I would like to thank my bf and my friend for doing all the cooking. The owner was cool. Checked on us from time to time. Water was constantly refilled without asking. The feature order on the small menu at this restaurant is the all-you-can-eat beef and pork for $10.99. Keep in mind, you sit at a table with your friends and cook it yourself, and each person is charged $10.99. The food is simply stomach stuffing and very pleasing to the taste buds. Pan chang (all those little dishes that include kimchi, garlic, etc) are included. The salad is great, which is delectable with the meat. The onions come with peppers that you put in your dish and mix with a marinade that you dip your meat into. Hungry yet? The specific type of meats you receive are "ja dol bae gi", which is a thin cut of beef. The other is "sam gyup sal", which is a more generous piece of pork. If you don't eat pork, no fear. The beef may be thin, but remember-you eat til you can't eat anymore. You simply raise your hand and ask for another plate of meat. If you wish to have a bowl of rice to scarf down all that meat, it's only an extra buck. Soda as well is an extra buck. Soju and other alcoholic beverages are sold, and the owner walks around the establishment with a "Got Soju?" shirt. Drink to your pleasure as you dominate plate after plate of endless meat. One thing to keep in mind is that the owner doesn't appreciate ordering another plate and not being able to finish it, for that meat is now wasted. The meat are sliced thinly that it can melt in you mouth..and its so fast to cook so the wait isnt an issue at all. The salad is fantastic! My favorite here is the steamed Egg! I have tried to order the same thing in all of the other korean bbq places I have been. But still nothing beats thier EGG! Clear winner! There aren't just too many choices of meat and sides but Im not gonna complain. The price is right. The owner is friendly too and very hands on. He serves too! My significant other and I love this place! it's so chill, and the food is super yummy for a $10.99 ALL YOU CAN EAT place! We come here every two weeks! it's not healthy but it's addicting! You get beef brisket, black belly pork, a dish of onions, jalepenos, kimchi, spicy bean paste, salad, and their delicious secret sauce to dip your meat in. i like to get a side of steamed egg and rice with my order. I have written ad nauseam it seems about finding a KBBQ place in the Valley. To be honest I had no intention when I wrote my first review to embark on such an impossible task yet here I am like Don Quixote facing down another meat powered windmill. Or rather I have become the Valley's Korean BBQ Batman a silent guardian and watchful protector of all things artery clogging and meat filled. I am the hero the Valley deserves, but I am not the hero the Valley needs right now... or probably ever.. unless there is an Atkins Diet city wide mandate.. I am also ludicrously filled with reasonably and cheaply priced meats right now so I don't know what I am saying all clumsy literary and cinematic metaphors aside. Point is I have come closer to finding a KBBQ spot in the Valley worth calling my meat home. First and foremost Wang Dweh Ji gets my high review not based on quality but straight up on convenience and price mixed with a bit of quality. Don't get it mistaken even for the Valley the quality of the meats here is not the best far fromw it. In fact compared to say AYCE Gogi on Van Nuys I would say it's a few steps behind and pretty much most places in KTown light years behind. The variety of meat and ban chan are severely lacking.You don't get the choices of say the nearby AYCE GOGI, any number of Kbbq places in Ktown or even BCD Tofu located conveniently down the street. Hell the quality is even noticeably lacking and not quite as good as some of the other places BUT what you do get is an nice, relatively quick and inexpensive alternative to get your fix for KBBQ. I've never done drugs but it seems like the affordability of this place is like the crack of KBBQ compared to the cocaine like places in KTOWN. It's relatively cheaper but this shit makes you feel just as good, and honestly you pretty much feel dirty, ashamed, and often have to debase yourself just to satisfy your cravings. So instead of going all the way to KTOWN to pay a higher price, I'm just going to stay on my side of town and in the hood to get my fix. Once again I am pretty much drunk on meat at this point so back to my review. I like this place because although you don't get all the bells and whistles at some of the other places you get what you need. Sometimes going out for KBBQ seems like an entire "thing" like an event. If it's in KTown and god forbid you have a large amount of people, you have to wait for quite awhile, deal with terrible parking, pay an arm and a leg, and you come out smelling, maybe even drunk whether it's from alcohol or meat, and you stumble on home regretting your poor life decisions. So it's like going out in LA only more meat. Here it's down to earth, little to relatively no wait and simple. The place is usually understaffed which kind of sucks both for the customer and the poor waiter who gets stuck in the unenviable position of taking care of all the tables, but even then the service is not that bad. They get you what you need. As mentioned you don't get that many choice of meats or ban chan but you get what you need. Two quick and simple options A and B that don't differ much except B gets you marinated bulgogi, which I would honestly skip. You aren't missing out on much but hey even then the price is so cheap who cares go NUTS! The grill is also a bit different than many of the KBBQ places I've been. I can't tell if I am a fan of it or not but it gets the job done and makes me feel like I am making a little meat fort every time I go. Again I am full of meat right now so I can't be held responsible for the nonsensical ramblings of a mad meat man. Also one thing I really like is they often bring out all the meats in your option all out at the same time! This is really helpful because most times you go pretty hungry and they know and you know damn well you will be ordering more than once, twice, three times, hell who knows. So they cut out the bullshit and just give you all the meats you probably were planning on order on the first order. This hasn't been all the time but for a couple of times they did this when it was busy and it was awesome. You can order single orders from there or several at a time which ever you prefer but I like that they are on it from the get go. Only complaint is the rice. I generally think getting rice is a rookie move at AYCE KBBQ and only slows you down. But on one of my visits I needed my grainy friends. They charge you for rice. While not unheard of it's like two bucks for one bowl and its not free refills so that's kind of a bummer. But whatever even then the base price you are paying is pretty low like $12.99 for A and $14.99 for B so you are still making out like a meat smelling bandit come check time. If you are looking for a no frills place come here. But come here knowing that while you might be losing on some preconceived notions of quality or expectations you make up for it in price and experience. read more

Saw this place as I was driving by and decided to head to this place with a few friends after the gym. Their All You Can Eat prices are either 10.99 for Brisket/Pork Belly or 12.99 to add Bulgolgi. Though this may not seem like much, well it really isn't, but a cheap place like this in the valley is rare! Anyways, we all went with the 12.99 deal. First the side orders, or should I just say side order. All they gave us was Kim Chi. The other dishes they provided were sliced onions/jalapenos which they told us to add into the sauce which was pretty new for me and quite good as well. The meal also came with a salad. The meat itself, all came frozen aside from the Bulgolgi. The brisket had plenty of fat. They hardly gave us any pork belly when we ordered it, they were cut into small squares. Seems as if they were running low. The Bulgolgi was good at first, but later on the sweetness was unbearable. Though for overall taste, it was good. My friend's major gripe about this place is the absence of rice paper since he tries to stray from eating rice. Service was good, helpful and friendly. No complaints there. The biggest issue wasn't our experiences there, but in the bathroom. Three of us ate there, 3 of us had similar stomach issues. Sooo yeahhhhhhhhhhhh...
